  1. Hi hi Berf Welcome back 🙂

  3. Oh.. and maybe the Git Gud Scrub posts to Heavy... that was super harsh. Had me clutching my pearls lol
  4. I got an audible from Turin to head to the village so off we go Story Update – Day 14, Nightfall Location: Misted Wilds – Hidden Air-Kin Village Status: HP: 27 / 27 | EP: 22 / 22 Elemental Strengths: Water 13 | Fire 10 | Spirit 10 | Earth 12 | Air 7 Codex Attunement: Moonthread Sash (Featherfall passive active) Codex Features: Unified Elemental Bond, Weave Fusion (Available after rest) Key Item: Cracked Totem Shard Leaving the ancient sanctuary and the fading echo of the Veilkeeper’s words behind, you follow the misty trail toward the hidden lights in the trees. Nyra hovers at your side, quiet but alert. At a moss-covered stone gate, two Air-Kin sentinels await. They say nothing until your Codex pulses softly. Their arms reveal faded glyphs matching yours—not Temple glyphs, but older, wind-marked seals. “You walk with balance,” one says. “And the shard has stirred the wind again.” You're allowed inside. The hidden village is a beautiful place: cliff-cradled, suspended between air bridges and vines, with sky-maps etched into every wall. Chimes drift in the breeze. Even without full mastery of Air, you feel the ambient currents respond faintly to your presence. Inside the gathering chamber, the village elder presents a sealed offering: “For what you carry. And what may return because of it.” Loot Gained – Combined Inventory Update: From the Obsidian Ruins: Moonthread Sash (Accessory – Rare): +1 Air Level +5 ft movement speed When attuned to the Codex: Featherfall (passive, 1/day) 36 Silver Crescents 1 Gold Leaf Coin (Rare ceremonial currency; high trade value) Scroll of Windstep (Air Spell – Single Use): Phase-step up to 40 ft Leaves a gust that may stagger enemies (origin or destination) From the Hidden Village: 4 Silver Coins 12 Copper Coins Ancient Air-Kin Brooch (Collector item; est. 20–30 silver) Woven Windblossom Tea (Heals 1d6 HP + grants +1 Air Resistance for 2 hours) Updated Currency & Valuables: Copper: 29 Silver: 40 Gold Leaf Coin: 1 (est. 50+ silver value) Valuable Goods: Small jade carving (~25 silver) Ancient Air-Kin Brooch (~20–30 silver) Additional Notes: Your Air Strength has increased to 7 (Moonthread Sash equipped). Codex is now in passive Featherfall mode (refreshes on long rest). Nyra has noted the villagers speak in layered meanings—she suspects the Totem Shard may react to something in their shrine. Summary of Recent Discoveries: Gained access to a hidden village of Skyreach descendants. Received treasure and information after revealing the Cracked Totem Shard. Discovered evidence that your journey is awakening long-dormant elemental forces. Strong indicators that this village guards knowledge tied to the Spirit Temple or the Heart of the Elements. What will you do next? Explore the village shrine — See if the Totem Shard resonates with their relics. Rest and recover fully — Restore HP/EP, refresh Weave Fusion, and regain attunement uses. Speak to the elder again — Ask about the shard, the Heart, or signs of the Spirit Temple. Trade or sell loot — Look for a merchant or lorekeeper interested in the Brooch or jade. Leave before dawn — Press on westward, hoping to track down new ruins or Spirit leads. Let me know your next move!
  5. Hey @DPR am just checking the pass along abilities disappear at 1st death and that person then chooses treestump or restless spirit. Their 1st death message just says their name and if they had an ability at the time of their death? And then the final death happens if they get coronered and they lose their spirit/stumpage
  6. Don't get me wrong. It's awful being put in that position and it's ok to not get it right. But you can't get it wrong and then say, actually I was right all along lmao
  7. Ok Lore it is Story Update – Day 14, Nightfall Location: Misted Wilds – Obsidian Ruins (Edge of Hidden Village) Status: HP: 27 / 27 | EP: 22 / 22 Elemental Strengths: Water 13 | Fire 10 | Spirit 10 | Earth 12 | Air 6 Key Item: Cracked Totem Shard You kneel near the vine-choked monolith once more, the Cracked Totem Shard resting in your palm. The lingering echoes of the vision draw your thoughts back to that robed, faceless figure, their voice a distant whisper in your mind. Turning to Nyra, you ask quietly, “Do you recognize the figure… or the tree of thorns? What was sealed there?” Nyra flutters lower, wings almost silent. She lands softly on your shoulder, her tone faint and distant. “The figure… is old. Older than the Five Temples. I have no name for them. Only fragments.” “They were called the Veilkeeper, in some of the earliest Spirit archives—guardians not of an element, but of the space between them.” “That tree…” she pauses, visibly disturbed, “is the Thornroot. A prison for what could not be destroyed—something unaligned, wild. It was sealed with all five totems in balance. If it stirs again, it means the seals are weakening.” The shard vibrates gently in your hand, like it responds to the mention of the Thornroot. “We should be careful,” Nyra adds. “This may be connected to the Heart of the Elements itself—or what it was meant to protect us from.” She falls silent, watching the night mist shift around the ancient roots. Update Summary: Confirmed the robed figure as The Veilkeeper, a pre-temple guardian between elemental alignments. Learned of the Thornroot, a sealed prison tied to the Five Totems. The Cracked Totem Shard may be linked to weakening seals or the Heart of the Elements. Nyra warns that these visions may indicate rising imbalance—or an awakening. What will you do next? Approach the hidden village — The lights still flicker between the trees. Perhaps someone there knows of the Veilkeeper or Thornroot. Use Spirit magic on the Totem Shard — You’re strongest in Water, Fire, and Spirit. Maybe Spirit reveals something hidden. Explore further west — Leave the ruins for now and scout deeper into the Misted Wilds. Rest and meditate — Camp here for the night and restore full strength. Use the quiet to mentally process the vision. Attempt to link the Shard to the Codex — Risk channeling Codex energy into the shard to try and awaken deeper resonance. Could trigger a reaction. Let me know your next move.
  8. Congratulations Mafia team! Commiserations Town. Well played all and thank you for making and modding the game Key 🙂 If only everyone didn't always think that certain people were Mafia... when they've actually only been Mafia once or not at all!
  9. Well we could ask quick I guess, so she doesn't forget
  10. Let's do some investigation Story Update – Day 14, Early Evening Location: The Misted Wilds – Obsidian Ruins Status: HP: 27 / 27 | EP: 22 / 22 Elemental Strengths: Water 13 | Fire 10 | Spirit 10 | Earth 12 | Air 6 Codex Attunement: Moonthread Sash (Featherfall passive active) You turn your attention away from the hidden village lights and return to the obsidian archway nestled in the roots. With Nyra hovering nearby, you reach out with your Codex. The air stirs as it senses the forgotten weave beneath the stone. Nyra’s wings pulse with a gentle tone. “There’s something old beneath us. A well of resonance… sealed intentionally.” Following the faint tremors, you find a half-collapsed spiral leading underground. The stone steps curve into a sunken chamber, completely overgrown with luminous moss and twisted roots. At its center, a shattered monolith glows with dull sigils—Air, Earth, and Spirit flickering faintly. It feels older than the Temples. You press your palm to the surface. The Codex glows in response, and Nyra lets out a harmonic trill. A vision flashes in your mind: A robed figure with no face, standing between five ancient totems. Wind howls around them as they seal something beneath a tree of thorns. The last totem glows with Spirit. The figure whispers: “Let it be forgotten until the balance calls it forth once more…” As the vision fades, a small fragment of the monolith detaches—a Cracked Totem Shard, still humming faintly. Item Gained: Cracked Totem Shard (Key Item): Fragment of a forgotten sanctuary. Resonates with elemental signatures. May unlock deeper layers of lost temples or call ancient guardians. +50 XP from uncovering Ancient Site of Balance Nyra flutters low and nudges your shoulder. “We should return above soon. The veil is shifting again. Whatever was sealed here is best left dreaming.” You emerge as twilight deepens into night. The mist thickens around the trees, and the lights of the hidden village seem farther now—less urgent, more patient. Update Summary: Discovered Ancient Sanctuary beneath the Obsidian Archway. Gained Cracked Totem Shard (Key Item). Learned of ancient figures sealing something with the Five Totems—possibly connected to the Heart of the Elements. +50 XP (Unrecorded Discovery). Nyra senses veil activity growing. Danger still distant—but watching. What will you do? Head to the hidden village to rest and investigate. Set up camp here and examine the Totem Shard more closely. Ask Nyra if she recognizes the figure from the vision. Travel further west along the treeline before night fully falls.
  11. Executive decision made. Let's got explore somewhere else Story Update – Day 14, Late Afternoon Location: The Misted Wilds, west of Windrest Hollow Status: HP: 27 / 27 | EP: 22 / 22 Elemental Masteries: Water, Fire, Air (Lv 5), Earth, Spirit (Unawakened) Current Goal: Explore the west and uncover the Shrine of the Echoing Veil You and Nyra veer westward, following faint ripples in the veil sensed by her wings. The trees here are older, stranger—some trunks are silvered like bone, and their leaves shimmer translucent. A low mist carpets the path. After a quiet hour of travel, you reach the Misted Wilds—an overgrown woodland tangled with vines and veiled in twilight, even under the day’s sun. A partially collapsed archway of obsidian stone lies ahead, wrapped in moss and time. Runes worn near-invisible line its sides. As you pass under it, a soft pressure ripples across your Codex, a brief pulse of recognition. A resonant site, just as Nyra sensed. Beneath the roots of a fallen tree, you find a half-buried satchel tucked into the earth—its leather long worn, but still sealed by a faint glyph of air. You unfasten it carefully. Loot Found – Hidden Satchel: Moonthread Sash (Accessory – Rare): When equipped, +1 Air Level and +5ft to movement speed. If attuned to the Codex, grants passive Featherfall once per long rest. 36 Silver Crescents 1 Gold Leaf Coin (rare ceremonial currency—high trade value) Scroll of Windstep (1 use): Instantly phase-step up to 40ft to a location you can see; leaves behind a gust that can stagger enemies near origin or destination (Air Spell). You immediately feel the Air glyph within the sash resonate with your Codex. As you attune to it, the glyph glows softly and your breath feels lighter. Your elemental Air affinity increases to Level 6. As you explore deeper, you spot the faint outline of a village tucked into the hills just beyond the Wilds. Faint lights flicker between the trees. Nyra narrows her gaze. “That wasn’t here before… or maybe it didn’t want to be seen before.” Update Summary: Air increased to Level 6 (via Moonthread Sash). Gained Moonthread Sash (equipped & attuned), Scroll of Windstep, 36 Silver, and 1 Gold Leaf Coin. Discovered new area: The Misted Wilds and a hidden village beyond it. Veil activity growing stronger. What will you do? Approach the hidden village and try to learn more about its people. Investigate the resonant ruins further before nightfall. Camp here and meditate with Nyra to tune deeper into the veil. Use this opportunity to sell or trade some old items before continuing.
  12. I'm with you Heavy, let's go explore somewhere else.
  13. We talk with Nyra Story Update – Day 14, Afternoon Location: Verdant Hollow – Hidden Root Chamber (Departing) Status: HP: 27 / 27 | EP: 22 / 22 Elemental Masteries: Water, Fire, Air, Earth Next Objective: Seek the Shrine of the Echoing Veil (Spirit) As you and Nyra ascend from the Hollow’s deepest chamber, the roots gently shift and seal behind you, closing off the sacred trials. The Codex pulses warmly—four glyphs now engraved across its cover, each a testament to your elemental mastery. Outside, a breeze picks up. The Grove exhales. You glance to Nyra, perched on your shoulder. “Where do we begin the search for the Spirit Shrine?” She lifts her head slightly, eyes glowing faintly with Veil Sense. “The Shrine of the Echoing Veil is not tied to stone or root—it moves… like a dream between shadows. But I feel its presence is stirring.” She hovers briefly, wings humming. “We should return to Windrest Hollow. From there, we’ll need to observe the sky and moon phases. The Shrine is most likely to appear during a Veiled Moon, when spirit energies thin the boundary between worlds.” She pauses, then adds, “There’s also something... old and broken west of the village. A ruin hidden in mist. I think it’s a resonant site. A place where the veil may part.” The Codex flickers in agreement, briefly displaying a Spirit sigil, faint but growing clearer. Codex Insight: Path to the Spirit Shrine Shrine of the Echoing Veil may appear during Veiled Moon nights. Locations rich in memory or ruin—especially those tied to loss or silence—may become gateways. Nyra’s Veil Sense will now actively detect Spirit fluctuations near such areas. What will you do? Return to Windrest Hollow to begin preparations and gather information. Ask Nyra more about the Veiled Moon and how to find the timing. Visit the western ruins she sensed, before returning to the village. Use the Codex to craft or attune Spirit-focused Weaves.
  14. Official Vote Count Tig (1) - Turin Turin (2) - Tig, Dice Not Voting (0): That's a Lynch. Please stop posting I guess and give Key chance to announce the result. She might be sleeping now. Day 4 Deadline
  15. Maybe we can find a new town or village on our way.
  16. Maybe we should have meditated more in the Air Temple lol We don't make that mistake here Story Update – Day 14, Afternoon Location: Verdant Hollow – Hidden Root Chamber Status: HP: 27 / 27 | EP: 22 / 22 Elemental Masteries: Water, Fire, Air, Earth (4/5 Complete) Nyra: Present – Veil Sense Active Codex: Unified Elemental Bond – 4 Glyphs Active Earth Strength: 12 You seat yourself in the center of the root-woven chamber, the stillness of the Earth embracing you like a heartbeat slowed to a whisper. You close your eyes, placing your hand against the altar, and let your breath sink to match the rhythm of the Grove. Nyra coils quietly around your shoulder, her wings folded. She doesn’t speak. She doesn’t need to. The Codex glows softly against your chest, then dims—subsumed by the hum of the ancient leyline running beneath you. Threads of memory stir in your mind: the laughter of the seed trial, the endurance of the root, and the stoic strength of stone. The Earth doesn’t change swiftly—but once it does, its roots never release. Earth Attunement Strengthened Your bond with the Verdant Hollow deepens. You feel the residual signature of the Hollow’s Guardian enter your Codex. You may now call upon Rootpulse Memory once per long rest: Strengthens earth-based spells and barriers Grants insight into natural layouts (caves, forest paths, roots) Reveals buried or dormant lifeforms within short range Nyra flutters once as the light fades. “The Grove is satisfied,” she says quietly. “It knows you'll carry its memory forward.” You feel lighter, steadier. The chamber’s roots begin to retract, revealing the way out once more. What will you do? Ask Nyra where to begin searching for the Shrine of the Echoing Veil (Spirit Temple). Use an Earthgem to empower a spell or create a new one. Depart the Verdant Hollow and return to Windrest Hollow to prepare. Check your spells, passives, or gear before leaving.
