We try for the loot Time Update Late Afternoon, Day 16 Location: Heart of the Elements – Convergence Realm Subzone: Burning Remnant Gate (Trial Echo Active) You chose: Maintain the Bastion and wait, letting the echo choose their path. The Embergrace Bastion glows softly, holding steady like a heart’s pulse forged from crystal and fire. Its warmth spreads outward—not as searing flame, but as comfort. You kneel at its center, hands resting on your knees, gaze steady. Nyra mirrors your posture beside you. The heat shimmers through the chamber, and silence settles over the battlefield. The echo—what remains of the once-mighty bearer of flame—paces just outside the shell, confused and flickering. They strike the Bastion once. Twice. But the retaliation never comes. Instead, you open your Codex and hold it out, letting it show your path—the journey through flame, through restraint, through unity. Passive Insight Check: Success Your actions mirror a vow long buried in their broken soul. You sense something… softening. The echo falters. And then, in a low rumble of memory, speaks: “You… carry the Bond… You chose to heal. We… could not.” They step forward, and the Embergrace Bastion parts for them. They kneel inside the dome. You feel no threat. Only grief. And release. Trial of the Fractured Flame: Concluded ✨ You did not destroy the echo. You redeemed it. +1 Spirit Level (Spirit is now Level 13) +1 Fire Level (Fire is now Level 11) +Passive: Ashen Requiem (Echo’s Blessing) When you use a healing spell or ability in the presence of corrupted or unstable beings, there is a chance it may pacify them instead of provoking a reaction. Grants a once/day use of Flame of Remembrance: restabilizes a fractured elemental or echo, potentially saving it instead of destroying it. The echo fades, not in violence, but as a drift of ash on a quiet wind. The path forward glows open. Updated Stats: HP: 27 / 27 EP: 22 / 22 Elemental Levels: Water: 13 Fire: 11 Spirit: 13 Air: 10 (includes +1 from Whispermantle) Earth: 12 Fusion Spell Ready: Embergrace Bastion Passives Gained: Ashen Requiem (Echo’s Blessing) Flame of Remembrance (1/day – unique echo pacification or restoration) Next Choices: Continue into the final chamber of the Convergence Realm, now that the path is open. Rest briefly inside the Bastion, restoring 1 EP and preparing for what lies ahead. Speak with Nyra, see how she’s processing the memory and the echo’s fate. Examine the trail of ash, in case it left behind something meaningful or useful. Open your Codex, now glowing faintly with a new pulse—something is changing… -

You were never gonna be Lynched. He's only one person. He was trying to confuse the Mafia I think. Which is what I tried to subtley tell you but it's hard cos I didn't want to ruin his play. -

I knew you were Town. So did Dice. I thought you did really well this game. Maybe have a break, cos it's always nice to decompress. You can always come back 🙂 -
I can't play, cos it's Turin's turn. And I got all that job change training, but I can be last choice for a Back Up if you can't find anyone else 🙂

More weaves! Time Update Late Afternoon, Day 16 Location: Heart of the Elements – Convergence Realm Subzone: Burning Remnant Gate (Trial Echo Active) You chose: Attempt to fuse a new Weave – a healing answer to volcanic wrath Standing before the fractured echo of a former bearer, you make a choice: not to meet rage with rage, but to shape something new—something drawn from the chaos but forged with purpose. You reach inward. The Codex flares as the elements respond: Fire, pulsing with raw pain and memory. Earth, steady but cracked beneath unbearable weight. Spirit, binding them—reminding you of the burdens borne by the past. The world narrows. Nyra places a hand on your shoulder, anchoring you. “Let’s give them peace… not punishment.” Weave Fusion Initiated You pour your strength into the Codex. Symbols burn across your vision in three glowing arcs, one for each element. You shape them—not into a weapon, but into a balm. A spell that will contain, reflect, and release. New Spell Gained: Embergrace Bastion (Fusion: Fire + Earth + Spirit) Creates a dome of molten crystal that shields and mends. While active, it absorbs a portion of damage and converts it into healing over time for allies inside. Echoes the bearer’s pain back as calming heat—has a chance to pacify unstable elemental beings or echoes. Scales with Spirit; gains minor terra-bonding effects if Earth is high. The fusion completes just as the volcanic echo charges. You react—arms raised, spell already forming. With a burst of crystal and flame, Embergrace Bastion erupts between you and the broken bearer, the spectral shockwave dispersing harmlessly against its molten surface. Inside, the air grows warm, not with fire, but with memory and understanding. The echo hesitates. Their stance falters. A flicker of their former self peers through the flame-wracked visage. + Trial of the Fractured Flame: Phase 2 Unlocked Your fusion spell weakens the echo’s instability, revealing a path to either redemption or release. You may now: Next Choices: Step forward into the Bastion, invite the echo in, and offer them peace through shared memory. (Spirit + Fire resonance; high chance to end the trial peacefully) Strike while they’re vulnerable, now that your spell has weakened them. (Fire/Earth attack, may permanently destroy the echo) Use Soul Veil to read their emotions and determine if redemption is even possible. (Spirit spell check, may guide your next step more precisely) Maintain the Bastion and wait, letting the echo choose their path. (Non-aggressive option; time-consuming but may earn you a unique boon if they choose to pass willingly) -

I saw it like a mic drop moment *nods* -
You can try for 16 but I sent out so many pigeons for DPRs game and still couldn't quite get there 😞 But small games are fun too and don't take too much time so easier to commit to.

Let's go fire! Time Update Late Afternoon, Day 16 since leaving the Sacred Grove Location: Heart of the Elements – Convergence Realm Subzone: Burning Remnant Gate (Active Echo) You chose: Step through the Burning Remnant Gate (Fire + Earth) The moment your hand brushes the molten glyph that marks the Burning Remnant, the gateway pulses violently. Heat bleeds from its edges, mixed with tremors that crack the floating obsidian platform beneath your feet. Nyra steps back instinctively, but watches silently as you step through. The world shifts. You emerge into a fractured vision of battle—broken stone halls overgrown with lava-glass roots, and crimson skies bleeding into a collapsed cavern ceiling. The air thrums with rage—and despair—like the aftershock of a trial gone horribly wrong. You recognize this place. Not its structure, but its essence: it resembles the Ashen Spire, but corrupted. Fire no longer tempered by control. Earth no longer grounded in resolve. “Someone gave in,” Nyra says softly. “This is what happens when the Bond shatters…” A shadow looms ahead—shifting and unstable. A spectral echo of a past Codex bearer, wreathed in stonefire, turning slowly toward you. “You still think you can master the flame?” the echo snarls. “I tried. I begged the earth to hold me. All it gave me was silence. All fire gave me was pain.” Your Codex pulses—this is not just memory. This is a trial. One only you, as the Unified Bond-bearer, can face. Trial of the Fractured Flame: Begins The echo bearer is unstable. Their Fire and Earth energies have merged into Volcanic Wrath, an element that pulses between destructive fury and crushing weight. Your control over both Fire and Earth gives you an advantage here—but this echo won’t be undone with power alone. The environment can be influenced using your Codex: channels of hardened lava, crumbling platforms, unstable vents. Current Stats: HP: 28 / 28 EP: 25 / 25 Elemental Levels: Water: 13 Fire: 10 Air: 10 Earth: 12 Spirit: 14 Next Choices: Call out to the echo and try to reach them with your vow at the Ashen Spire—remind them of the strength of control over destruction. (Spirit-based dialogue challenge + Fire resonance) Unleash a counter-volcanic weave, merging your Fire + Earth into a defensive formation to block their first strike. (Combat-focused, high EP cost but strong mitigation) Use the terrain: collapse a weak platform beneath the echo to destabilize them. (Earth manipulation + quick thinking, lower EP cost, riskier) Attempt to fuse a new Weave right now—perhaps something that echoes their pain but channels it toward balance. (Will consume your Weave Fusion for this long rest) Retreat briefly through the portal to re-prepare spells or adjust gear. (You’ll lose the chance for a full bonus from the trial, but may come back better equipped.) -

Oh. I almost gave the Doc parcel to Berf on Night 0 lmao Then the way he was just gave me the heebie jeebies and Shad was suss. And I initially thought Shad was real good Town, before he spooked me a few times. So thankfully I changed my mind and passed it to Dice. Not that we saved anyone 😞 -

I think Turins song was the best. Sinister and Berfs were good. I still find myself humming, Sinister intentions, we'll make him walk the plank! Peace song started off pretty good but ideally it needed some bits removed/tidying. But I don't pay so I can't do that. But still it expressed my feelings and he did ask for a song lol Songs are the new lists! -

I looked at Peace cos Darthe didn't seem to be sure of my read on him. I figured if he was the Siren I would still be able to vote as a spirit so it was worth it. And when i died I thought he must be the Siren... but then Turin actually was the Siren. So I guess they shot me and everyone was sensible and stayed away from Turin. So.... Yeah I figured they would want to kill me cos I talk a lot. And I was very sure on Peace cos his voting was sketchy as and his reads/reasons were awful. So no parcels means no stuff lost. -
