If there's a single post that makes Verb scum it's the one where he talks about clearing up Hallia/MrsClov and then voted Wifi.

How so? I liked bopolis' "catch" on Wifi, and I really thought he had her....so I agreed and joined in. Hallia was sus, and I can't recall at the moment why I have MrsClov in there as well - I'll have to look back.

It's all about the timing. I may be wrong about the order but I'm pretty sure you put Wifi in the lead after she and Hallia cross voted each other to end up at 5 a piece.

 

Before that you made a statement about MrsClov in her "can't connect to Wifi's posts" being suspect that could be groundwork for a D2 push.

 

Wifi flips Town and now you have ammo to push MrsClov and Hallia survives the Day.

What is the case on Wilfire?

Someone can correct me on this if I'm wrong, but Bop noticed that she said this was her 14th game and she played as scum 3 times. He checked her sig and showed only 2 scum games listed, so he asked if this was her 3rd scum game. She responded by putting him in her null to scum pile. I believe some of the others are for posts that were not great as well. 

 

So they think they caught a slip? Ok.

I'd rather lynch Hallia, but I'm not opposed to a Wildfire lynch either. I haven't really been able to connect with her line of thought.

Ah ok, found it.  I had a sense that 1 of Hallia/Wifi would be scum, but I was leaning Wifi based on what I've already said.  I had some sus of Hallia, and was close to voting her, but then I quoted the above (from MrsClov).....like I said, her phrasing keeps making me frown and it weirded me out.  A little fence-sitty, even though she said she preferred Hallia.  Still a null-to-town feel on MrsClov from me, so I thought a lynch on Wifi would help clear my head on the subject.

 

I can't really explain it better than that - it popped into my head as I read and I commented on it.  I reserve the right to re-evaluate, which I think will make MrsClov look a bit better, for now.

 

But those statements still make me go "hmm".

I think the bold is correct, yes.  But that and the statement about MrsClov literally came one after the other - they pretty much align in timing, meaning the same thought....I just posted one after the other instead of having 1 large post.

 

Disagree on the last - I have no ammo on MrsClov.  As I said a minute ago, I think I feel better about MrsClov looking back on how things went.  Not locked in as town, but better.

 

I need to ISO Marsh and Tina, though.  Wagonomics on the first, and a hunch on the latter.

That's pretty much the crux of it. And you don't have ammo because wifi wasn't lynched. If it had gone differently and she was lynched over Hallia then that's where the potential to point back at it to build a scum read comes from.

I know you've since expanded on this, but this seems really convenient given that Hallia flipped scum and I was the second person on her lynch with my own reasonings, that I feel I stated pretty well.

All things considered without Wifi's claim she probably gets lynched D1 because you put her in the lead while sussing another player I'm pretty confident is Town. That's where the scum equity comes from because Hallia survives and now you can build a case on MrsClov.

 

Obviously the claim was unexpected and swapping your vote afterwards in null.

 

I'm not dead set but I can definitely see that as a scum!Verb play.

As I said before, Wifi's logic was hard for me to follow where she was coming from. I love to see how people go to people's logic, and not connecting with her was the nicest way I could put that I was having a very hard time reading a lot of her posts. They came across to me as frantic and trying to get a lot out at once, and contradicting herself within them. I couldn't connect with them because I couldn't tell what she was trying to get at. (Sorry Wifi).

For the record, This is why I was asking her the questions I did. I was trying to see if it would get her to slow down a bit and explain things more to me in a way I could understand. I was doing it so I could try to eventually read her as town, because I know that it's not fair to suspect her because I'm having reading comprehension issues.

This is irrelevant, because I went back and checked.  I'm in another game that just started today, so my memory is going to want to combine things together (even more as that game continues).  So I did my own homework and explained.  There is no convenience.

You're still wrong.  I sussed them both, and voted who I thought more likely at the time to be scum.  When the claim came out, I switched - essentially to my #2.  I have no case to build on MrsClov, and I have no idea where you're trying to go with this.  We need to settle this D2 100%, because I'm not going to accept you casting shade on me as I try to move forward here.
