I lied so I could stay alive only to be killed in the next 24 hours.

Yeah I know it was scummy but I didn't feel right about Hallias lynch and I didn't want to bandwagon. And I've been on the notes voting list at the end of D1 in too many of my recent games. I wanted to change that and go on record as still being suspicious of Eldrick

I forgot to explain it.  I was mafia with him and notbob. I was headed for the lynch but I hadn't voted yet. It was getting close to deadline.  That's when he gave me the instructions in red above.  I didn't get lynched that day.  

 

Here it's a little different.  Ironeyes wasn't the one up for the lynch but seeing how everyone was jumping on hallia and he probably doesn't like to bus or thought it wouldn't look good for whatever reason.  Anyway I feel Darthe was probably behind it in the QT as its one of his TRICKS.

So... I'm scum because Darthe is scum because he's pulling a trick that he pulled with you when you were scum? Is that what I'm getting here? 

 

Never mind the fact that you and I have vastly different personalities and ways of approaching the game, or that I wasn't under pressure and therefore didn't need to vote Eldrick. The only reason I did was to show that I still think he's scum.

And while I'm thinking about it, I don't think I have a problem with bussing. I don't remember exactly, since I haven't played a scum game since I came back to DM. But I'm pretty sure if I were scum in that situation I wouldn't do something to draw attention to myself. I'd go with the flow of the thread and keep a low profile.

This is hugely circumstantial and the likelihood of it is probably in the decimal of percentages

Good evening friends, that was a good catch but I've no idea how ya'll did it.  Especially not so decisively.  If I had been around Hally would have been in my slightly townie pile, around fifth or so.  

 

AJ, Dice isn't so clean to me but you are.  I'd put Dice in that slightly townie pile as well.  Marsh is there with him, and a reason for that is that I've never seen marsh make a big risky play.  Your read there is backwards.  

 

In other news, Nol needs to hang and so does Verb.  I'd suggest wild targeting one of those two.

Personally, I'd move him to blue on your list.  I think if it was w/w he would have just left his vote as that she pinged him, and not actually questioned her a bit. Probably would have jumped on the Wildfire train when heat started picking up on Hallia as well.  And some of my read on Hallia was because of how she was responding to his questions after his vote on her.

Hallia pinged me initially when she was discussing you, actually. And then I sat on it to see if anyone else picked up on it/began to suss her organically which is where MrsClov/Dice reads come from.

 

That's a reasonable approach to Marsh. That vote switch does seem a little over the top for w/w play but I want to be diligent regardless.

 

Somewhat agree about Nolder. I'd like to see where he's at with some broader reads when D2 comes around. Still think his linking of you and Hallia is questionable.

Fun fact: I bussed nearly my entire team in the game that just finished before this one. I started the wagon on them D1 and stayed put even when other wagons started to pop up and I could've reasonably moved off. In fact I was one of their main pushers throughout the progression of the phase. I wasn't lynched until F5 of a 21 players game and really only because I didn't have info that a lot of townies had to clear each other via role PMs and I had to fake claim something wild.

 

Not saying that's what Dice did here but it literally just happened. By me. Last game.

Fair enough. I guess I'm just thinking on a surface level of it. I don't know that my first thought would instantly go to elaborate teammate bussing strategies (which I guess is why they work sometimes.)

Ah that makes sense. I don't really have an issue with subs. Especially in this case when Zander didn't even post, so there wasn't anything to read him on.

These posts seem a little contradictory to me.  in the first you seem sus on hallis actions  the second you vote wifi.
