Afternoon lovelies, 

 

I thought about where I'm at in the game and reviewed my notes. Here's where I'm at on each player, so far.

 

 

AJ:

• I feel like he's sort of been the voice of reason of the thread. He's been posting his thoughts a lot in the thread, and given pretty good explanations for them.  Would not lynch today. 

Darthe:

•  Obviously has been a topic of debate today. Whether the claim with discuss attached to it actually intended to get a discussion going or not, it did. At this point, I can't see Mafia opening themselves up like that. Would not lynch today.

Bopolis:

• I don't hate his reads list. It's fairly similar to mine, with a few changes. But overall, I feel like I can follow his train of thought pretty well. I thought he responded well to how he knew so much about the Nolder/Darthe thing if he hasn't really played here before. Probably wouldn't lynch today.

Niniel: 

• This is gut feels mostly, but I felt like her posts seemed genuine and I liked the points she made on Nolder. I'd like to see more from her, but probably wouldn't lynch today. 

Verbal: 

• I don't have many notes on him yet. I need to go back and read his posts. Null so far. 

Wildfire:

• I can't follow her thoughts at all. It still bugs me how all over the place she was about her Darthe "read". When she explained it, it didn't really feel much better about it or make me able to follow her thoughts any better. I also didn't agree with the options she gave for Darthe and AJ claiming. I feel that there's more than just the two options she gave. Would lynch. 

Dice: 

• I think he made an interesting point about what he thought Darthe was doing with his claim. His vote on Hallia is interesting, and I'll discuss it a bit more when I get to Hallia.  Null so far, but probably wouldn't lynch today.

Eldrick: 

• His early post about setup bothered me, and my reply to it about fishing was mildly a joke. I did want to see how he'd react to it though. I felt like for a good chunk of this phase he's been going after really weird things in the thread. Things I deem insignificant so  I definitely saw him as scummy. His more recent posts look better, and I think he's done a decent job of explaining himself in them. I think I need to take a step back on this one because I don't know if I'm on the verge of tunneling him or not. Might or might not lynch. 

Nolder: 

• Originally, I was not crazy about his Darthe vote. Based on his comments, and others, it made it clear there was a feud between them, so it felt like a policy lynch. He's came back in and explained himself. I really like that he countered the comment of he votes darthe in 100% of games with previous games and reasons. Would not lynch. 

 

Ironeyes: 

• I don't really have much to say on him. Null for right now.

 

Hallia:

• She's not making me feel great. She hasn't really given a ton of thoughts other than to point out to the Darthe dislikers that he was actaully putting his thoughts in the thread. She's been pretty quiet, and I was pretty null on her until her conversation with Dice. I thought it was pretty obvious that Dice was getting at a watcher/seer cover sort of thing. Her responses to him seemed odd to me. Instead of saying why she thinks someone is town, she's just quoted a post and said they were moved to her town pile. I don't really feel like that many of her thoughts were original either. She said she was on the fence about Nolder and Eldrick, but I don't know that she's came back and said more on it. I tried to get her to, but she kind of brushed off my question.

Yeah - still very suss of Eldrick, much less for Wifi - kinda agree with your stance on her.  Nolder seems ok right now - he did some work to defend himself, and that isn't his norm for scum.  He'd rather have you pull the evidence and prove your point, not the other way around.  AKA, a good look.

 

Null on Darthe so far, same for you.  I can see this "guiding the thread" coming from either alignment for you, so you & Darthe occupy my 'waiting' category as far as a read goes.

I'm not sold on scum!Eldrick but I'm also aware that I tend to give him a lot of slack. I'm good with your others reads though.

 

Maybe you're actually a townie this game which would be a welcome change :)

Pg 1 - Interesting to note, Eldrick actually brought up the Watcher before anyone else (#10). This is interesting because if I remember right, hes lambasting Darthe for trying to draw out the Watcher yet here he brings it up before Darthe does. 

 

Pg 2 - Darthes watcher claim (#22). I still dont see this as anything other than null and personally like that it was done because the game is in motion instead of 18 pages of spam. Eldrick immediatly jumps on Darthe (#23) and I mean like, 2 minutes later. Pretty quick. Odds this is a gambit and they are distancing from each other? Putting a pin in that. 

 

Wifi comes in with the post I dont like (#27). Says its a typical Darthe scum move, but then immediatly back tracks. Its like feeling it out. Then theres her remark about AJ/Darthe here, W/W or W/V, saying that atleast one of them HAS to be a wolf. TMI? Poor judgement? I dont see how AJs post isnt seen as a joke and I dont see why AJ has to be CCing to be town here. Laying groundwork for a lynch on AJ should Darthe flip town or vice versa? Another pin.

 

Pg 3 - DING DING, Eldrick votes Darthe more than an hour later (#43). I thought he had voted faster than that, which is why I thought it a towny move, as he quickly comitted to his read. Disagreed with it but hey he comitted. Now however I see theres a decent time gap between read and vote. Using the reasoning "Its the wolfiest thing so far", but why not vote him an hour ago? The time dif bugs me.

 

AJ making some good sense (#46). Eldrick getting really testing early (#47). Wifi comes back and throws around just... so many random thoughts as to what Darthe could be doing (#50) while still keeping that "Darthe is a wolf" undertone imo. How is discussion the bad part Eldrick (#52)? The game has started, thats good imo. AJ +1 (#55). MrsClove +1 (56), brought up the same problem of Eldrick talking about the Watcher role first that I just did.

 

Pg 4 - You say this Eldrick, yet your voting him and touting him as a wolf (#65). Im starting to get a bad gut feeling. MrsClov +1 (#66). Eldrick feels like your reaching here imo (#68). Also seems like your getting kinda flustered, but that could just be me reading something thats not there. Figuring someone out is bad? Now your sussing MrsClov (#69)? Thats a no-no.

 

Hallia seeing what I see (#75). Yes Iron, I am now (#76). 

 

Pg 5 - Doesnt mean your right (#88). Nolder drops a vote (#97). 

 

Pg 6 - Eldrick jumps ship to AJ (#109), in what looks like an opportunistic vote. Cant explain it, which is stupid when you just spent 5 pages explaining why Darthe is the wolfiest thing ITT, yet you jumped to this vote.

 

Pg 7 - Darthe returns! I like it all imo. Its alot of my thoughts. Nolder says Darthes claim is anti-town (#134), interested in how. +1 to Darthe (#137). 

 

Pg 8 - Niniel comes in (#152)! Its an easy vote either way. Nothing really to read from it. God I love you MrsClov (#158). Bop comes in (#160), im ok with this.

 

Pg 9 - I joke about Nolder voting Darthe (#176), Nolder later gets annoyed by this joke. Not much else happens. Verb is on my line of thinking with Eldrick.

 

Pg 10 - Wifi comes back (#182). I dont know your thought process, so I cant know if this is true. All I know is what you posted. Even if it is truth, I still dont like the fence sitting. Mrsclov (#187) AT IT AGAIN WITH THE TRUTH PREACH IT SISTER

 

Pg 11 - I dont get this vote on Hallia by Dice (#208). 

 

Pg 12 - Nolder gets annoyed at my joke (#226)

 

Pg 13 - AJ +1 (#250). Im cool with Bops list (#253) for the most part. Small differences between ours, but nothing I couldnt see as a reasonable difference of opinion.

 

pg 14 - (#269) another decent Bop post. Dice is correct (#275). 

 

Pg 15 - AJ and Nolder argue semantics. Nothing much in there imo. 

 

Pg 16 - Is it? You call it a small thing Eldrick (#301), yet at the same time switch your vote from Darthe who you had been arguing about for 6 pages at the drop of a hat. How do you see AJs "claim" as anything other than a joke (#305). 

 

pg 17 - Hes right cause he has Zanders slot ldo (#336). Srs though, I just feel I understand that part of Darthe better so I think my version has a better chance of being correct than yours.

pg 19 - Agree with Verbal for the most part (#362). More amazing MrsClov (#366). Disagree with her on Hallia, but its well thought out so I cant fight it. Usually I toss a coin or sheep someone else to figure out Hallia but I wanna try it on my own this game.

 

I got kinda rushed in the last 3 pages, because I have to leave for more classes, but heres where I am at. I would like an eldrick or Wifi lynch unless something major happens

His problem is the discussion, when there has been 0 actual discussion about the role itself, just the claim. Im torn between over-comitted townie tunneled on a bad read and a wolf who failed to get the quick train they wanted. That AJ vote is bad in hindsight.

Cozying up is a good way to describe how I felt when she initially said I was town. I mean don't get me wrong, I appreciate the early read, but I've played with her in the past and feel like she's more spelled out her reasons for her reads instead of just quoting a post and saying "This is why."

i've only played one game with hallia and she was apart of a hydra with nyn so she wasn't around alot in the thread(LOST) so i'm not sure how her town/mafia play is,
