Honestly, the DPR/Shad/AJ thing didn't really have much juice and doesn't seem like it's worth me digging into. It's like they're arguing more about the technicalities of the game and the state of mafia and don't actually bother too much about discussing bops or Elds alignments. Guess they've all handled it pretty well but doesn't really say much when the topic isn't primarily to do with this game. I'm gonna stick to unvote vote darthe and head out.

I tried to dig into the thread when I got home, but was too tired to focus.

Friday is a busy day for me and I'm typically not on until later (hi).

Go ahead and use that against me though. People using short term lack of activity is seriously scummy, and I will gladly vote you for it if you try to push that angle.

 

 

From my perspective, your early posts seemed shaky. I commented on it, bop came to your rescue, then you laid low. My experience is that it's common to see a player talk too much, then pull a vanishing act to mitigate the damage. This is usually followed by questions being put to that player to explain their behavior. A flustered answer usually results in more heat being put on that player, and so on. 

 

Your response is new to me - not because I haven't seen people bullshit before, but because you seem to think I'm going to believe you? I'm not sure if this is a joke or not - seriously - so if it is, please let me know and I'll treat it as such. 

 

Regardless, your logic stream for the rest of the post is jacked - you go from "I've already given the reason why" to "and then this happened" with the "I was tired" thing, all the way to "and now for something completely random" by mentioning how busy you were. 

 

And then, the capper: you polish it off with whining about how I'll probably use it against you. Then you follow in Shat's footsteps with the "I will lynch you" threat.

 

This entire post is laughable.

It's been bugging me that he townread me because of my post count. Thinking about it, most of the posts I made when he gave that read were fluff posts. The number of posts meant diddly.

It really feels like an easy town read on someone. I'm curious why the people that agreed with his read (aj and Sooh I think) did so.

Regardless, you get called out for being "sketchy", you try to explain it off, get called sketchy again and you blame Cloudflare for ditching the thread... 

 

So, even though it's only d1, it seems like you have already created a pattern of disappearing anytime someone calls you out on a post.

I don't because that's how they operate here a lot of times and it's not really alignment indicative because it's so "per norm" here. I'm not saying it makes it right, just that it makes it null for Shad. Like I mentioned before, I had someone treat me the exact same way last game and we were both town. I was basically told, play ball or get lynched. It's this kind of mentality that surfaces up where's you have to like prove yourself to certain individuals while they're basically talking down to you just because they don't have you as a town read. Don't get me wrong, I do work with the method of.... finding town leans and trying to narrow down my PoE.... but I'd like to think I don't come across this way.

None of that post was a joke. I meant every word. That is the events that happened around the time in question, where you called my inactivity scummy.

 

I have 2 jobs. I'm not on here during one of those jobs. That job is Tuesday from 6-1030pm and Friday from 6p-1am.

 

I chose to have my attention with my best friend on Thursday instead of here, and won't tolerate my choosing real life over a game as a reason for an attack.

 

As for my naming the wrong day in the first time I posted it and then correcting myself, how is that an issue? I said the wrong day.

 

So ball is in your court now. Do you wish to continue using the fact I wasn't here, for completely legitimate reasons that have nothing to do with the game, to come after me?

 

 

Side note. When I left because of cloudflare that was legit frustration with the site. It had nothing to do with aj saying I sketched him out. I also don't care that I did. All I care about is solving the game.

Also, DPR, I understand where you're coming from irt Eldrick, in vacuum. Especially knowing this is your first game with him (and this is precisely why I asked early on). The problem with him though is that you can basically always find these  gaping logic holes in his posts, regardless of alignment. He says the most atrocious things. Because that's how he plays, for better or worse. I could easily sit here and critique it every single game with him...and policy lynch him for it.... but at some point I decided it's a waste of time and that I'm more interested in winning instead of telling him off, because I don't think he's going to change the way he plays. So I'm more.... lets say forgiving... at his proclivity of saying stuff that make me want to rip my hair off. And in a way... it feels like the more awful he sounds the more likely it is that he's town prolly. Because he has like no filter. With that said, I did find him taking off cause of cloudflare when AJ called him sketchy a bit awkward like... so I'll keep it in mind. I also wanna see what Hallia thinks once she catches up today.
