Nyn's not dumb and wolf!her would be aware that villagers are expecting her to behave like a hydra.

 

I've seen a few positive indicators and am waiting to see more; consider it a cautious town lean, but I think phrasing her reads as QT posts is entirely null.

First two posts in his last game here, he and Despo were both town:

 

 

 




D1 Yates decides to make a "Just Say No To Drugs" speech and claim Seer to clear Dice. That's like, really really town. Really.

And do you really think Yates is the seer? Or do you think him providing seer cover makes him likely to be town?

 
I think your "Seer Seer Cover" play is interesting.
 
I'm just wondering why you feel the need to tell us how Yates is playing.
 
He's a big boy and can speak for himself.

Ok. Responding to the response to my post about Tink irt AJ early in the game.

 

It was said that the feel of the post was similar to what else was going on. I disagree. The tone of the posts caught my attention, and that's why I brought it up.

 

I can chalk it up to them knowing each other, as they clearly do, but there was a tone difference.

 

I liked bop's reason for reading me. I can't give him townie points for it by itself because I'm always wary of town reads of me because scum can easily do that to pocket me, but the fact that others have commented positively on his response is a good sign. Slight Nice read for bop

 

Sooh not wanting to give a read on shad is sketching me out. She was very open about being able to read him easily last game by how he read her. Why has that changed?

 

Still feeling good about shad and adding aj to that list. Nothing concrete for those reads, just feel good tone wise.

 

And that's where I'm at. Gonna get ready to hang out with my friend now. I'll be back tonight.

does voting ever hit majority(8) here on day 1 or do you usually see it through to the end of the day?

 

also do you guys prefer lynching or no lynching on day 1.

 

I prefer lynching but some communities have a day 1 no lynch meta, so I'd thought i'd ask.

 

I prefer voting Darthe on Day 1.  Most would welcome the idea but they will not openly support until till closer to deadline.

Now there is merit to the fluff posting, once the game starts developing and we get flips.

 

Who interacted with who in the fluff matters.

Intro phase is the easiest part of the game for wolves to interact.

 

It probably boils down to who's online at the same time more than anything else.

 

Doesn't mean you can't derive a lean or two from how people are behaving individually, but any associative read at this point is going to be bleh.

 

I remember someone last game brought up that BFG might not be a wolf because I trolled amega during joke phase. Yeah no.

Noticed in my reread how overly antagonistic Tink was to AJ's response.

 

Antagonistic? How is this different from the regular playful fluff that was happening around that time?

 

 

I see it as antagonistic because Tiink:

 

1. asked for the help

2. AJ answered in a joking way, which seems pretty obvious to me and most people on the thread

3. then tiink throws it in AJ's face

Please say more: What exactly was she asked about? How did she deflect?

His posts seems a little off  - self meta, spammy chat & role spec are no bueno.

 Hes starting to feel alittle skittish to me. As an example, immediately after you said you didnt like that post its just "What about it?", barely giving you time to explain why. Hes flooding the thread with, honestly, useless pap.

 

 

 

Beat me to it. I've never played with Eldrick and don't know a thing about his meta, but whenever anybody posts fluff and then goes back to explain why they posted fluff, it trips me. I also am not a big fan of meta-based cases  in general. Anyone can change up a play style and equally, anyone can be having a day where they are distracted and post differently than they would.

 

So for now, on d1, what I got is that Eldrick seems nervous as a place to start.

 

 

LENLO:   I know you don't like to do the work for me.  However, I couldn't find where bold becomes bold which becomes bold?

Self meta he was asked to give, spammy chat like everyone else and what part of it was role spec? Only think I noticed was speculating over the number of scums.

If town consistently NLed on D1 more games would be won. Townies typically get killed D1. Huge advantage day for scum. But, no lynching is boring to people.

Plus how would we get the #info with a no lynch?

You still make people give there reads. Im not saying it is perfect but I used to be a big advocate for it.

 

I see both you and dpr took me seriously here. Should probably have added a :tongue:

 

 

SOOH: can you please let me know if you are in favor of a NL or not and why?  same with DPR?  though he has kind of stated it throughout the thread.  However, I did not understand it.

She typically reads me a lot better than she lets herself believe, and not having a feel for me yet isn't bad necessarily, it just fails to woo me with radiant villageriness.
