Its my top wolf read. Has been for a while, and I assume youve seen the points I made across the thread if youve read the game. Elseick bumbles his way through the early game, says a bunch of conflicting things and then sooh shows up like the voice of reason, making really safe statements and more talk about reads than actual reads. Theyve not ezactly improved.on that, just gotten quieter on the eldrick front and sooh is responding like she has breathing room. Ill go back and find a play I saw a bit ago to show this.

Sock have dozens of these, and this sort of post is.a big wolf tell imo. Its not a push, but it isnt nothing either. Its a suggestion, and townies dont make suggestions when they find something wolfy.

What we know:

 

Shad flipped Goon, so the scums must have either picked just one power, or one power plus recruiting traitor. That's the maximum that this setup allows for.

 

I don't know which it is, but if there's one more town power it would confirm that the traitor has been recruited. That means that IF we have a non-outed town PR, that person KNOWS the traitor has been recruited.

Scum had 4 choices so can you please explain how the recruitment ITSELF verifies or confirms what youre saying please?!?!!?!

The setup:

 

9 Townies

2 Mafia Goons

1 Mafia Traitor

 

Mechanics:

 

Day start with role modifiers. All players will be randomized an alignment. The three Mafia-aligned players will then be randomized into two Goons and the Traitor. Pre-game, the two Goons will have 24 hours to deliberate and pick up to 2 of the following modifiers for their team:

 

1) Change a Mafia Goon into a Mafia Role Cop

2) Change a Mafia Goon into a Mafia JOAT (1x Ninja, 1x Strongman)*

3) Change a Mafia Goon into a Bulletproof Mafia Goon

4) Recruit Mafia Traitor to a Mafia Goon

If they didn't pick to recruit the traitor they could have chosen two other modifiers which would have made both goons roled.

 

Shad flipped goon, which means he didn't have a role.

 

We have 3 PRs revealed (ok, Random isn't confirmed yet, but let's assume he is).

 

That means that the mafia picked at least one modifier.

 

If they had picked two and neither of the two were recruiting the traitor, Shad would have had a role.

First wolf flip is definitely an exciting time. :DWhat do you think of his repeating his town reads on sock/Cass? (Once to nb, once to Zander)Feels to me because he was pushing those reads that he stuck a scum in the list.

 He;s consistent at least and no offense but picking me to suss over them is NOT the path of least resistance. That is something Im keeping in the back of my mind.

One big if, and it only matters to the remaining pr, should they exist.

 

IF there is another PR, they know the traitor was recruited. They know whoever is still out there know each other and can look for connections.

Nyn it's not that I am suspecting you

 

It is that everyone must go through a rigorous screening process in this game to be accepted into my village core after the first few members

 

I estimate if any of sock/calder/zander/shad are scum it's only one of them, so I'm not too worried about it and if the other three villagers in the core work together then we can force that wolf to work for the town anyway

Random had a good response to my vote and I already had some of his posts from before as slightly villagery I just can't remember them right now

 

I was up all night after being up all day after a 15 hour car ride and today I had two exams so I'm just wiped

 

 

 

 

He picked out about 5 names claiming them as his "town core" - for anyone not asked to weigh in, or not mentioned as the target of his question, that is alienating at this point. IMO

I get holding someone accountable for their reads.I don't really get characterizing exclusion from those reads as some sort of isolation tactic. He either has a preliminary town core in his head or he's lying about the same, no?

Posts like these are why I have shad as a villager and not just cause he's defending me

 

He made a similar post about eldrick that came to many conclusions I had as well and he seems to be acting as a voice of reason

I'm sorry you're taking this so badly, but your play wasn't helpful. If you're town, ignoring random only hurt. Regardless of his alignment, the rest of us could use the answer you gave.
