First wolf flip is definitely an exciting time. :D

 

What do you think of his repeating his town reads on sock/Cass? (Once to nb, once to Zander)

 

Feels to me because he was pushing those reads that he stuck a scum in the list.

 

 

He;s consistent at least and no offense but picking me to suss over them is NOT the path of least resistance.

 

That is something Im keeping in the back of my mind.

I'm not sure I even understand this question but I've played/spectated quite a few games with her. I've struggled to read her more in some games than others but I've never been dead wrong.

I dunno Im thinking I may wanna test this....

 

 

 

I don't know if this is a nitpicky word choice thing, but do you think that Random's choice to defend his read on me is an overreaction? The phrase "jump into your defense" seems very strong for what he did which in my opinion was more an explanation of a read.

Is anyone else noticing the random/sock/nyce triangle of town reads on each other since I called out Eldrick's connections post?!??!?!!?

Dice: It's surprising that my posts this game haven't drawn the scrutiny from Dice I faced last time, which could be a bad sign for him, or could mean my play's been a bit more solid this game. I've got a slight town vibe from him for the moment

 

Sock: Sooh hasn't really posted much substance in my opinion either way. Eldrick is doing a good job seeming like he's looking for scum, but I felt a bit weird about how he was so quick to vote manbat after our interaction, and seemed to agree with everything I said. This could be paranoia - I'm not used to being agreed with frequently in mafia. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt for the moment, but that just equals a null read

They're all trending positively on one another to some degree, but I'm not sure what you're getting at with red unless you think scum!Eldrick kicked off the game by informing us that if scum!Nyce is a wolf then scum!Random is too.

 

The only thing that really sticks out here to me is Random calling Dice town while saying mostly negative things about him, which doesn't say anything about Dice's alignment but leaves me wondering about Random a bit.

The only person he really takes issue here is the guy who is like almost confirmed Town Cop.

 

He's not gonna remove like a quarter of the starting roster from being able to be pushed as ml's imo

For D2 and N2 I've operated under the assumption Zander is likely town. Posts like this keep pinging me though. He already knew Shad was scum when this was posted, so asking about his partner reads almost like he assumes / knows the traitor has been recruited, which I don't think we've establish through Shad's flip either way. Just a thought.

 

Pral getting into the mix more and more is good for town, even if he's mafia, because there's now things to hang on him later should his tune change.

 

I like darthe's rah-rah-go-town attitude, but since I posted my results on Shad is when he began it. Perhaps bussing by completely avoiding discussion about Shad? (Bussing by omission)

 

I'm almost relieved I'm likely going to die. I keep reading eldrick and Sooh's posts, and despite them being very different hydra heads, I don't feel they're scummy at all. If they are, you all are better reading them than I, because I'm basing that on gut feeling more than anything, and perhaps that's past it's usefulness.

 

I hope BFG storms in out of the gate and gives a tell on that slot either way: if that slot is mafia you'll likely know pretty quickly.

 

If I were to survive until tomorrow, I'd put a lot of pressure on Dice to see what happens. I don't like his quick in and out technique this game. It could be IRL stuff, but we don't know enough.

 

Finally: keep cass talking. She and eldrick are doing some good ISO work, and aside from Zander they seem to be the ones everyone's relying on for that. Easier to spot an agenda when someone's laying out big cases than small question / thought posts.

Why have you been ~reluctant to give off the cuff reads this game? (Admittedly that's based more from early game then anything more recent, but?)

 

Because I legit have no idea, and with the pressure from all sides it has been difficult to find room to quietly assess things. This has been a hectic game for me so far. 

I was present for much of the early joke phase, then stuff blew up while I was sleeping, and my slot came under heavy fire, and since then I've been trying to get stuff done, but yeah.

Sooh is outside the mafia range I have for her, but that's difficult to judge fairly as they've been under pressure for most of the game and it's messing up my read. Eldrick seems to have no filter, but I'd have to look through old games to see if that means anything

Shad flipped Goon, so the scums must have either picked just one power, or one power plus recruiting traitor. That's the maximum that this setup allows for.

 

I don't know which it is, but if there's one more town power it would confirm that the traitor has been recruited. That means that IF we have a non-outed town PR, that person KNOWS the traitor has been recruited.

You do realise that except Darthe and Amega and the other known town, you are calling everyone a scum suspect, right? And, I am casing you and showing where I am thinking you are scum. 

 

If you ask me, neither of those 3 are likely to be scum. My thoughts say Zander > Amega > Darthe as the likely scum remaining. I confess though, I haven't read Darthe in detail - this is just from POE based on my town reads

I'll be honest. This game has been a real source of annoyance in my life the last couple of days. It's clear that whatever I say I'm not being listened to, and that's not a fun place to be. Even people who don't have my slot as scum don't really care for my advice/opinions, so I stop caring, and when I stop caring I don't want to go casing or rereading.

Im super clearable this game. Btw, with all the cass talk, im not complaining but why isnt she on your list?- you havent been around enough to seem to have a good grasp.

I don't participate without catching up and knowing what's happening. So, if I am saying something, it is because I have an understanding of who is what.

 

As to my read on cass, I answered the same question to sooh a couple of posts back.

I am only about 40 pages into the game. Unlikely I will catch up before deadline. Just too many posts.

 

Thoughts so far:

 

Manbat felt townie in that outburst. Don't see him being that emotional as town. So is Nyn. 

Zander has looked fine despite his lower than usual posts. Typical as an early Zander game. 

 

Eldrick seems aggressive and posting a lot. Some posts stood out - like voting Manbat around the time he was active - which looked a bit opportunistic. And, his going after Darthe when he mentioned that he is not going to read the game. I would say he falls under the category of "too wolfy to be a wolf".

 

Notbob, Darthe and Dice seem null or they are playing like they usually do D1. 

 

One person I find odd is Shad. Not about the level of posting but he just looks like drifting through the game. His posts seem too passive and he is commenting on general stuff. That is really odd knowing how he plays. If at this point, I am asked who is scum, I would say Shad.

For D2 and N2 I've operated under the assumption Zander is likely town. Posts like this keep pinging me though. He already knew Shad was scum when this was posted, so asking about his partner reads almost like he assumes / knows the traitor has been recruited, which I don't think we've establish through Shad's flip either way. Just a thought.

 

Pral getting into the mix more and more is good for town, even if he's mafia, because there's now things to hang on him later should his tune change.

I'm almost relieved I'm likely going to die. I keep reading eldrick and Sooh's posts, and despite them being very different hydra heads, I don't feel they're scummy at all. If they are, you all are better reading them than I, because I'm basing that on gut feeling more than anything, and perhaps that's past it's usefulness.

 

I hope BFG storms in out of the gate and gives a tell on that slot either way: if that slot is mafia you'll likely know pretty quickly.

 

If I were to survive until tomorrow, I'd put a lot of pressure on Dice to see what happens. I don't like his quick in and out technique this game. It could be IRL stuff, but we don't know enough.

 

Finally: keep cass talking. She and eldrick are doing some good ISO work, and aside from Zander they seem to be the ones everyone's relying on for that. Easier to spot an agenda when someone's laying out big cases than small question / thought posts.

Well, Shad flipped regular goon, so assuming the traitor hasn't been recruited the remaining regular scum wouldn't know who their partner was.

What we know: 

 

Shad flipped Goon, so the scums must have either picked just one power, or one power plus recruiting traitor. That's the maximum that this setup allows for.

 

I don't know which it is, but if there's one more town power it would confirm that the traitor has been recruited. That means that IF we have a non-outed town PR, that person KNOWS the traitor has been recruited.

 

Scum had 4 choices so can you please explain how the recruitment ITSELF verifies or confirms what youre saying please?!?!!?!

That's not what I mean. You were asking if they suspected you, who your last partner would be, and if there's a traitor the regular goon doesn't immediately have that information, so they wouldn't have that in mind while making the posts in the game, thus making the last partner difficult to find.
