As someone who is also playing with no/very little meta reads on people I can understand Crusher's reads early if I put myself in his shoes so I don't really buy Shad's argument about focusing him instead of others. The main reason is that given the volume and amount of posts about "feels town/mafia based on prev game" it can be exhausting to keep up in a new environment. Can be perceived as mafia since throwing at thoughts without much substance but it's also just difficult to keep up.

On the other hand, I completely forgot that Pral would've been blocked N1 which invalidates Crush's 50/50 post irt Shad. I said before that it's the role claim that seems most sketch to me. His claimed NA's throw out a lot of WIFOM and his conclusions seem pretty hasty and desperate, given that he missed Pral being blocked/he could've been blocked by Lenlo, which is the main thing that puts me off.

Is it normal for you to completely ignore reading some people as a villager? Kat's excusable given her content, but why did you never share thoughts on Tiink or Pral all game? Even after Pral was basically outed you never talked about him. In determining who to vote betweeen Pral and Z yesterday you just talked about why you thought Zander had some points in his favor and didn't discuss Pral.

100%. I scum hunt and try to create situations that pull scum out. I hate when people declare one another town early. Later it's important but early it's a scum tactic. Hell at JN Lilly and Leelou made it to end game as scum claiming myself and another player town from their first post. Owned us.

I think there's a difference between clearing someone and making it known that you think they might be villagers.  You gave town reads on Lenlo and Wifi, raised some points in Zander's favor.  It's not like it's something you don't do, you've just been very piecemeal about it.   And I'm not talking about "early".  You literally never expressed an opinion on Tiinker in this game until the sort of mechanically-driven reason to think he might be a wolf today.  Pral was universally regarded as a wolf, he was here and talking, he was the main point of discussion, you expressed no opinion on him town or scum.  This has nothing to do with how you play early game as a villager.

Can you show me what you have done in this game to "create situations that pull scum out"?  We've got your reaction test today if it's true.  What else?

I mean I gave him a pass on it at the time.  It's how he didn't really go anywhere from there that makes it look really bad to me in hindsight.  I don't see any development or thought progression.  I see "you might be towny for this" or "you might be scummy for this" and then as often as not that's the end of it.  No signs of further effort to figure people out.  Maybe with Zander he progressed but the majority of the player base no.

He barely gave an opinion on Cory either, for that matter.  Null with a very slight town lean, recognized their reads were way different but thought Cory might be right.  That's it, then roleblocked N2.

I can't speak for other townies. Also I was confusing you and Cory a bit so that didn't help. At a point in the game your post started reading like I was thinking. Interesting enough it was when you started defending wifi.I agreed with that at the time . Wasn't until she Weymouth fully golly gee no way it's me scum I started to doubt her.

Ok. That was before you roleblocked me so you couldn't have been feeling too great yet. But a read made behind closed doors isn't worth jack. If you don't state your progression until days after the fact when you're about to get lynched, I have a much harder time believing it.

I role looked you n1. Was the start of me trusting you.

Ok well, like 80% of my D1 play consisted of red.  That was before you roleblocked me.

Awesome. Makes sense. Thanks for sharing. I'm town too. A majority doesn't lynch me because I'm a big bad mofo.

Daytime I can add 1 vote needed to lynch somebody. Except myself.

Night I can pick a player to take whatever actions befall me and they are role blocked. Hence why I know you didn't kill anyone last night and Cory did not kill anyone N1.

As long as we don't have locked LYLO votes (and that's typically not the case on DM) there's really no risk in going Crusher first since he's basically unlynchable at f3.

Interesting thing about the "reaction test" claim, it's awkwardly worded so I could be misreading it, but if he's saying "I can give anyone except myself an extra vote" as opposed to the kind of ridiculous "I can vote anyone except myself twice" then his reaction test was basically the exact scenario he would need to claim to avoid the situation you explain here.

I don't think it's going to make a difference today because I'm pretty set on this, but I still want to hear Nolder's stance on vote locking first.

If votes are locked and Wifi is the last wolf she can just vote block someone and auto-win.

If votes aren't locked then I think we could still be in trouble depending on some specifics of the role, but it's not a foregone conclusion.

Nolder?

In shayol Ghoul we have the Ghouli Awards going on.  One of the questions was: who is most likely to post naked.  Maybe I should have nominated you for that one.  :laugh:
