I'm on my phone, so reviewing is a bit hard. Has anybody looked for a reads list to see if Liz was actually a top candidate for Lainey? I know she expressed some doubt there, but I dont remember it being enough to yolo a vig shot off the top of my head.

I think her strongest townread was Penny, who I would be shocked if dhe protected. It seemed like she understood that Penny being resolved would be important for the rest ofntown, even if she had already made up her mind.

 

Beyond that...me, maybe? She had some paranoia about me early on because I'm so amazing or something but seemed to be mostly over it by deadline?

 

I think she was warming up to calder as well, though I'm not sure pride lets her protect her top scumread for most of the day

I cant pull multi quotes, but Lainey said she would have looked at Seph, Celeste, Zander, and there was a fourth - Hallia maybe - several days ago amd had everybody else as town or town leaning.

 

A couple days ago, she said she didn't understand Liz's playstyle and wanted to know more about her. She did answer Darthe's cop question with Liz, fwiw, though I dont know that my vig candidates and my peek candidates have much overlap.

 

I didnt see her strongly suspect anybody else when I iso'ed. Looks almost like Zander would have been top suspect.

The role does specify a kill, though I'm not sure how literal that is. I don't think her considering self protecting is out of the question, but I'm going to straight up guess she probably didn't expect to be killed N1 her first game here, no matter how well she thought she was playing.

I think I retract my previous theory about Celeste and Alanna being m-m together. In order for that to be the case atp, Alanna would have to be risking claiming her owm factional kill the same phase teammate!Celeste presents it as a possible SK kill. Amd only an hour or so after penny straight up says she doesn't think there is a vig.

I'll give you all the time you need, and you can explain in as many or as few words as you wish. I want to understand the thought process, and bear in mind that I haven't read most of the game yet, so if you could include some details for me to help me understand that would be great.

Skimming a little to get through these pages... Liz is sus of Celeste (raisons?) and Darthe is better than thou and denouncing emotions. I find that emotion helps me read some people, tbh.

I'm withholding rereading and comments on the Liz/Celeste situation until I have a little bit more time. From what I can tell Celeste is offended because she thinks Liz is jumping on her too early in the game? That's pretty much as far as I am with that conflict.

 

 

I've posted thoughts on a few players. I'm leaning more town on Seph for his quick start to the game. Darthe is leaning town, so is Sili for reasons. Zander is still null to me, but I could assign him town if I need to. Celeste/Liz are up in the air for me at the moment. I think that's pretty much all that's posted at this point, besides Clov but I hesitate to give a read so quickly when most of what he's talked about is the Liz/Celeste scenario.

#247 I'm confused by this evasiveness that Liz is talking about irt Zander. She states he's being evasive about his read on Calder, but Calder isn't exactly an easy read. And if you're going on his ITT actions, he always comes off scummy. Additionally, I'm not sure Calder has put any kind of real work into the game yet besides some Seph reads, but it's also only page 13 and I think jokey phase stuff is still allowable.. meh. Not sure what to think about Liz pushing the issue though, she seems to want to push reads that may or may not be there which can be awkward for some people who need more time to develop reads like me.

#282 Zander is right, about wanting to question the read that Liz is providing. This post Zander quotes and the next few posts on p15 makes me think that Celeste realized her reaction to Liz and is now trying to brush it off by saying that it happens all the time with "I'm not going through our rollercoaster of not understanding each other this game." At the same time Liz really could just be baiting her to get a reaction in order to gain a read, but I don't see a reason to create a blow up in the thread for ONE read, tbh... especially when you know it's going to throw the other player completely off kilter. Would probably (?) lean town Liz on this?

I'm not sure if it's unfamiliarity with how Liz plays or if I'm just reading her tone strangely (female Zander is more aggressive imo), but Liz just comes off very accusatory and like she's baiting Celeste to me. I said that a little bit further up and pointed out some posts. I don't have any meta so I don't know about her style of play but it just doesn't sit right with me. At the same time, Celeste isn't doing herself any favors with her responses, but I've actually seen Celeste play before and she tends to shove her foot in her mouth, then build as the game moves on if she's still alive.
