Zander, I answered that a while ago. I should probably amend that to say that I don't mind dying if it leads to town winning. Basically if it means people will pay more attention to what I'm saying after I'm gone. Sort of like the game I had Eld/Thane as mafia and got lynched and decimated for it. It took a while to sink in but finally town came to where I was. 

 

Darthe says I'm a bad player for that tho. But I'm old and can't learn apparently.

 

Oh, I went back to revisit the start of the game and the short answer of why I wasn't as troubled by you was that I you were as OTT and I really thought I was on to something with shad and got blindered. Not great but it is what it is.

Latest thing about Thane from early game is his lack of talking to dice when he first came into the thread. I think he said hello to everyone else but not Dice. When he did address Dice it was with that Hey Buddy, You a wolf? Why not? 

 

Also that "I need flips to make reads" Thane had a pile of reads on D1 and now that there have been flips he doesn't seem to be using them to adjust his previous reads.

 

Of course if Alanna is confirmed to be guilty of killing Shad then who knows?

I would apologize for just dropping in now. But that was a horrible read so i say we are even.

Dice is most likely to be scum from the read. Not bc of the defense being fishy or anything, but that for me it feels like exactly what scumCalder would want to defend. Sooh's posting felt obv non game related and not indicative, so as scum i would want to be on the side to call people out for not seeing that.

  

I feel like it was an iffy/oddly offputting personal conversation that townies just try to avoid rather than bother talking about to long. Bc it isnt going to lead to a lynch. Could be wrong, but didnt think a defense was required and think a townie doesnt put in the effort.

That is what I thought. My very first 2 posts are against Dice. Not sure how I can get in earlier on that movement.

Your WTL your last day there was Laine/Zander/Eldrick/Thane/Lily IIRC. And I believe your last vote was indeed on Lily.

 

Eldrick got outed because he tried to counterclaim Lily to save bgshrinko and it blew up in his face.

 

Thane got outed because he was the only one basically not peeked on like d5.

Right now I will say I am suspicious of all the people that say things like "hopefully we will read each other right" or things like that.

I actually lean town on Sooh for the controversial post. I just don't see her making that post as mafia. Too likely to draw negative attention.

 

I think rest null. But only on phone so might have missed something.

 

I think Sooh drew negative attention by accident and the 'controversial' post came later, so I'm intensely null on it.  I have some silly gut thoughts that certain people are town, and they really aren't worth sharing atp.

You seem to be locked in about the one post questioning too early town reading/buddying/"backslapping". I still don't see why Sooh questioning the early interaction is so troubling. Explain please?

 

 

Because I (and Zander) felt she should have known better.  If she's town, then hey, she didn't and I can pocket that information for future games.

 

But like, when was the last game Zander as either alignment did not call Cory or Laine lock town or Lenlo lock scum within the first 5 minutes?

 

I expect Sooh to recognize that, to a degree that I'm wary she might have been faking but not prepared to call her scum for it.  I don't necessarily expect you to.  But why were you so concerned with me yet seemingly pretty comfortable with Zander when he was the one you thought had been dead serious about soul reading Cory lock town?

 

Noting that several people, jokingly or not, called Cory town straight from the get-go was something I wanted a response to. If that response is "It was a joke." then I will note that response and work with the information accordingly. If the answer is "you should know better", I'm not liking that response. That requires me to make assumptions about people, assumptions which they later can refute. I don't want to assume in mafia. I want to know.

 

 

But Sooh YOU KNOW how me and Cory interact.  Like I dont see any world where you dont get that was a joke.  And that bothers me.

 

Zander, how you and Cory normally interact may have very little to do with a mafia game where one or both of you might be trying to deceive everyone else. Right now I don't think that, but I didn't know that then.

I would have killed Cory. He's smart, makes good reads, if I was wolf I'd be most worried of him, and when he plays mafia he doesn't talk to me much (selfish reason). I wouldn't NK Shad.

Sooh gets kinda clear by the same thing but not near as much.

My most recent wolf games are GnD (odd-night cop recruited mafia), Matrix (hydra w/Cory), Belichick, Tale of Middle Earth. Actually those are the only games I've wolfed in since I came back to mafia last May.
