@Nolder – With Turin even commenting on it, I don’t see why she would.

How is my post different than others in the game. For example Dice answer to my vote?

hi Tina hugs  hows u?

Do i have to lynch you this game?

Why did you decide to vote me?

I'm pretty sure she's addressing you here, Nolder.

And you think she didn't notice her error?
She posted at least a few other times since that post you think she'd correct herself.

Zander gets it. J

Hopping over to AJ isn’t making me feel any better.  I am still happy with where my vote is

I'd like to double down on my Tina vote and call for more votes on her.

She didn't even react when I voted her, completely ignored it.

Thought maybe she just missed it but she ended up posting more later so I don't see how she could have.

Ignoring the vote reads to me like she's nervous and doesn't want to discuss buddying.

Maybe I actually hit the nail on the head there lol who knows?

Anyway if I'm right more votes will obviously make her more nervous and force her to address it.

Anyone with me?

I'm pretty sure she did address this.

You should all change your avatars to Mario Kart characters.

Do it.

Don't tell me what to do!!!!

@Nolder - Tina did address your vote fwiw.

That said its a wagon I could potentially get behind.

Did you have a reason to suss Tina or is this just to start a wagon?

Tbh AJ just put himself in a weird spot. He came out to protect Tina but says it's a wagon he could get behind. If that's true then why didn't he? And if he had a different reason why not say so? Looks like playing both sides while nudging a train to me.

[unvote]

[V]AJ[/v]

I like how on point AJ is below.

I'm not protecting Tina, I'm just making sure your facts are straight bro. Why would I join a wagon based on a case that isn't even factual?

I have explained already I had a light suss on Tina that isn't related to anything you're talking about. My current vote is on Verb and I'm waiting on some responses from him before I decide what I want to do from there.

No.

I'm going to try to check back in tonight and in the morning if I have time. I don't feel comfortable leaving my vote on Tina where I don't have my full attention on the game right now.

Leelou is very responsible with her vote here, I like it.

There are more posts of AJs, but I don’t want to bulk my multi-posts too much.  Suffice to say they scream town.

Lenlo/Verb are on that fringe of scum range for me.

Neither have really done anything constructive, Lenlo especially so. This looks bad after seeing how he's played in our more recent games.

Verb has asked some game play-ish questions but I don't think they were truly progressive.

Atp I don't think they are bad wagon options.

I want to see Nolder respond to my questions. That was a pretty bad mistake he made earlier and I know it's kind of his scum play to pull stuff like that. Act confused, etc.

P13

A good way of explaining the situation, Len.  J

I just don't think you're reading very carefully Nolder.

She's quoting Dice in that post as an example to show that she's not the only person to respond in a "buddying" like way. It's kind of a "why me" question but it's a legitimate point irt you not reacting similarly to Dice after she voted him.

Maybe you're right, but regardless she wasn't clear. That's not my fault.

Look, I acknowledge you dont read the thread all that closely sometimes, but she answered and when people asked what she was talking about, she said you. Just cause she never directly quoted you doesnt me she didnt answer it.

These posts from Hallia read odd to me.

I wanna give spot reads -

Yates - town

Zander & AJ - townish

Hallia gives her "spot reads" because she wants to.

Leelou, you did notice he had a space between my actual reads right?

Not sure what this means. There is no discernible difference in the formatting of the lines that I can see.

Are you confirming that your Yates read is a joke but that your Z & AJ reads are legit???

@AJ - I responded, he asked if I was legit about him being town. It was just an "I missed you."

apparently Yates is not a town read after all. There isn't really any indication that it was a joke. Feels deceptive.

Yes, Yates' was.

Dice, how do you have "tone" reads already? Regardless of alignment, people are messing around to begin with......yet you're reading them based on tone?

You can easily read tone from joking. Some people do it poorly as x-alignment, or differently, and so it is a good place to start.

This is general theory talk. My 2pence is that there are always things to look for and that everything that is put in thread is done for some purpose.

I guess you do you in this case.

[v] Nolder [/v] I didn't like the whole Tina thing. For the moment I will be here.

Odd phrasing. here. Do you plan to move prior to DL?

Hallia can you  give your reasoning for why you would put Yates as Town (jokingly) without actually feeling it to be true?

P14

Turin – I haven’t played with him in forever.  That’s it.  When I have time to actually ready and post, I feel so much better   I love to be informed.

Was that at the point of the post, or doesn't it show an updated time based on when you open the page?

#mightbeastupidquestion

Dunno if anyone answered you but it updated when you refresh the page.

The countdown updates if you refresh, underneath is the deadline in different time zones :)

Thanks, ladies.

Cutting back on quotes as I get closer to current page.  Makes it easier that way.

P15

I like Tina’s catch up.  I think she responded in a towny way.

P16&17

I think I am actually going to add Yates to my town pile for legit for now.

Hnnng.  Verb’s catching up and points on AJ are making me doubt myself there, but I am keeping an open mind.  Also AJ’s read on Zander, I don’t like this.

P18:  Annnddd I don’t like Len’s vote on Dice at all.

I agree with Yates; AJ is not an easy read at the moment.  I want him to be town, though.

P 20

What say you now Leelou?

Still waiting on Hallia to explain that Yates spot read thing. There was no definitive space showing it was a joke or whatnot in her post that she asked me to look for, she even listed him first. So...was that whole post a joke or were the 2 townish ones real?

Posted

Will not vote:  Yates, Zander, Leelou, Dice, Tina, Turin

Probably will not vote unless someone changes my mind: AJ

Null: Thane, Verb

Could vote: Nolder/Lenlo

I guess I am just going to never understand why you would put a non-read as a hello first and have that non-read as town and include real reads under it. You know, maybe just saying hello would have been better?

Tina it wasn't clear to me that that post was directed at me.

That's really all I can say about that. In the future you should probably just quote me or at least use my name in your post.

Anyway to be clear my vote on you was just letting loose on the first person that did anything I could think of an excuse to vote for, I don't have any real reason to think you're scummy currently.

As far as I'm concerned we're cool.

AJ on the other hand isn't making sense to me.

He both defended you and said you'd make a good wagon and now he's trying his best to discredit me.

I fully support your vote on him. Dude is acting slimey and needs to hang.

Okay. I get it. And next time I will quote you. Probably. If I remember...

Dice: I find him scummy. The only thing he has done so far is joking about voting Zander and given "spot reads" and then clarifying/defending spot reads. After my request he agreed with AJ that it was a bit weird. Later he had him as townish because of town. In a vague way. When Turin asked if it was because of certain posts he said it was more the tone. I get that spot reads means tone reads but it felt like he brought him up just because I asked him and with the vague " townish". I don't know how to explain this but it felt he felt forced to say something because of my request.

AJ has said Dice looks town but recently he said to Turin that he is not against a Tina or a Dice lynch. Maybe that says more about AJ? Anyway, Dice is suspect for not doing much although posting.

Turin: I have a strong town lean on Turin. He tried to understand me and have asked a lot of good questions.

Thane: I don't understand his vote on me. Is it a pressure vote for me to get back to the game? Will he unvote now that I'm here? I'm not really getting a scummy feeling because scumThane are usually more spammy as mafia. He could of course have changed his play.Verbal: suspect because of posting without contributing. Asking a lot about spot reads but the answers doesn't seem to get him anywhere.

More in next post.

I dont know if Tina's actually seeing what others are seeing or just regurgitating what others have already said.

Not sure if I'm agreeing with others but I meant it.

Once again - my whole intent was to make Nolder recognize that the reason he doubled down wasn't true. I stated it passively at first, and even showed him a quote, to then which then which he immediately attacked me over. My response, if anything, was a bit emotive as I ramped up in a sort of "are you kidding me?" way.

I had my own reasons to be leery of Tina, unrelated to Nolder, which is why I said I could support it.I used "fair" to describe her response for a reason. I didn't say it was good or it was bad. That's basically the only way she could answer my question reasonably and I have consistently maintained that her doing it in the first place has bugged me. Tina doing weird stuff = scum!Tina in my experience.

You say that "fair" does not mean "good" or "bad", but you have to admit that your choice of words (especially stating she answered "reasonably") infers pretty heavily that you thought the answer was......good.

And Tina doing weird stuff is par for the course in my experience.  She's unpredictable, which one might equate to "weird stuff".....but it is normal Tina to me.

^ all of this doesn't shape a read on Tina.  I'm still a little stuck on you for how emphatic you pushed back @ Nolder.

I'm not doing weird things. But Sometimes I have a problem with explaining myself and the language makes it weird sometimes.

You are posting more now. It seems like you mentioned the same things about AJ as me but not referring to my posts. If I understood it right you don't have a read on me at all?

About that Zander thing I talked abou before:

In # 51 AJ said that my post was weird. In the next post Zander asked him why. AJ said it felt random and Zander's answer was then "fair enough". He then dropped it. Later when others talked about it he started to question AJ about it again. Like he hadn't dropped it already.

I like that Verbal back. I'm fine with Zander, he's been working on his post count lately which means he's simply not going to be as talkative as people expect. I'm fine with that.

Nolder bugged me with his sudden Z switch of focus from Tina to AJ. Didn't feel like there was alot of buildup, just boom. I'm on AJ now.

You're right, I don't have a very good read on you right now....but I'll say the last part of this post makes me feel good.  You pointing out small details that bothered you is something I associate with townie behavior.

Gun to head:  a slight town lean on you

Posted

Did you read anything I said before? I already stated my problems with Dice and I wanted to get my vote out there and get some pressure out there with plenty of time before deadline.

Posted

Meh, think what you will Lenlo, I'm happy with it.

Course you are, you made it.

It's lacking though and glosses over alot of stuff imo.

Posted

I'm going to try to pop in before deadline to vote, but I'm not sure what is on the agenda for today.

People I'm not willing to vote today: Verbal, Tina, Nolder and Turin. Yates is creeping his way into that list.

Why not Nolder and Tina Lee?

On my phone, but question for AJ.

What case do you like being built on Dice? A lot of your posts feel like you are more trying to conform. Especially after you said the case Turin made on Dice could have Turin as scummy for spinning.

it's not really a case so much as a lot of people speaking up saying there's something wrong with him. I am not so proud that I don't think I could be wrong in my personal reads, so I can see how that could be conforming.

Turin's post is pretty narrative heavy imo. I should probably think of that as more null for him, and as I stated because of how he cases I'll need to get some flips from his suspects.

1365350937_Kanye-West-Blank-stare.gif

Put the way you did regarding Zander kind of puts things more into perspective for me. You're right though, and I think that's a pretty fair and objective observation. I'm still bothered by it, ftr. I would also note that I actually did take a stance on Dice when asked, however.

Hallia kind of makes her own scum case. Unexplained reads, poorly answered questions, out of the blue votes. General absence. Sadly I can't point to any of this and say it's a sure fire scum tell. Hence coin flip.

Dice I am still a little reluctant on, even now. He needs to come in here and start posting though so maybe I can resolve it. He's certainly not playing from how I'm used to and that's a cause of concern but I would hate for him to be town and got lynched because he wanted to play around a bit at the beginning of the game.

Please explain this to me AJ?
