[Basic]: Friends Mafia

This shouldn't be coming from me, but if I weren't me and didn't know I was town, and suspected I might be GF, I wouldn't take the chance at LYLO. I'd be trying to find the other mafia and if we get them, revisit me tomorrow. Just my two cents. 

 

I actually kind of agree with this and think it's a null statement in so far as it's a practical thing to say as either alignment.  I'm still going to look at you again, both for potential ties to other players and because if something blatantly obvious enough to outweigh the peek hits me upside the head I'd still act on it.  But pure mechanical odds say you are less likely to be scum than the others, and there is still at least one other.

 

But that's what I'm really struggling with here.  Everyone at this point has something fairly positive going for them.  :\

I guess without having put in as much work as I'd like to yet I'd say I'm most likely to be wrong on Sooh and Tab, but they both read clean to me.  The fact that we haven't actually caught scum yet makes it pretty hard for me to clear people by other means.

Basically Tab and Sooh are meta reads for me whereas Lily has a peek going for her and Eldrick has felt like a town boss this past phase.

In my ISOs, Eldrick's AtE keeps coming up. I recently remembered a time on Mindjack where he went emo. He was town that time. fwiw

Town:

Shad - Solving, asking good questions. Mainly on the same page as me, or if not I can usually understand where he's coming from.

Zander - I like most of his posts and thoughts so far this game, and he seems to have good observations.

 

Null to town: 

Taborline - High on my nulls list, because I don't think being diplomatic is in itself scummy. 

 

Null: 

Lily - She has had some presence this game, but I want more in order to call her town. I can sort of see what Eldrick was talking about when he pointed out her unwillingness to vote Thane, but at the same time I think her rapid succession on Eldrick later shows much less concern about how things look. The way she seems to almost be sheeping others is what's keeping her here.

Turin - We usually see things differently, I think last game was the exception to that rule though. I need to mull things over more about Turin though.

 

Scum:

Eldrick - I'm slightly swayed by rereading and nodding to a number of early posts of his, plus his AtE which seemed genuine (but I suppose it could have been just as genuine if posted from a scum pov). There are currently more things pointing in the opposite direction though.

Thane - I feel like he's just slanking along this game. It reminds me a lot about his scum games. 

Hallia - Little in terms of presence and solving. The vote on Lily is not great, and I'm also not convinced by later attempts to justify it.

 

WTL bottom 3 at this point. 

 

Sooh has a reads list where the bottom three are town (at least I believe Eld is. If not, I'm going to beat him up after the game. lol)

At this point, I am really rather feeling Eldrick.

What do you mean by that?

Because I feel like you've been really instrumental in getting the wrong people lynched.

I wasn't the one that got the trains to 4 votes each and left the decision to me. That was all y'all. I looked at both of them and picked the scummier of the two. I don't regret my choice and would pick thane again if given the same information. But that lynch isn't on me alone.

 

Yes I pused turin's lynch, because I thought I had something. Doesn't mean you guys had to listen to me. I voted where I thought I should.

 

I hate that I was wrong twice and I'm not voting today until I'm sure.

If Hally isn't on a team with Lily, then Hally isn't scum. Scum!Hally wouldn't have cleared her top scum read. She would have rode the mislynch.

Sooh/Tab

Sooh left her vote on Tab until right before the DL. If she was on a team with Tab, she would be risking lynching her teammate, because Lily was willing to switch.

 

Lily/Hally

Possible scum team. Hally fake claiming claiming her teammate as her town peek.

Lily/Shad-Sooh-Tab

Shad/Sooh-Tab

 

I haven't researched the likelihood of other teams yet, but either Lily, or Shad, or both, are scum. Not voting anywhere else.

 

Wasn't Sooh my only vote at that point? That's not a high risk.

I do ask a lot of questions D1, because I'm always trying to work out where to put my vote and who is what. I make reads, but hardly ever firm stances. My D2 was botched by a crappy computer, and if I was to take a firm stance now it would be voting Tab, because she's my strongest suspect at the moment.

Nobody clear yet, no, and that's partly what's holding me back. I've been looking into what Eldrick said about the possibility of a Taborline/Shad team, and that's not an impossible combination. I want to look more at yourself and Taborline as well. I don't think it's Eldrick/Taborline though.
