I'm frustrated because I wanted to talk to Shad first to figure out why his alignment would literally come back as a question mark but now I've ruined all the surprise

 

 

Blue. But blue isn't town. Blue is the color of our sacrificial lamb and it hasn't been used besides that. Shad is claiming he's vanilla town as far as I know

I am town. My PM is purple. So no, blue doesn't make particularly much sense in this game.  If you honestly got a blue result, I have no idea why.

Kind of hate that you're giving the go-ahead to lynch me over a "blue" result at a time when I am never going to be online.  And I don't get where blue comes from in the first place.  Celeste didn't claim a blue return on Thane.

You have Shad at the bottom of your list, even though you have a confusing peek on him. Do you have other reasons?

I think he's scummy. Why do you think I peeked him?

 

I did the same thing in Star Wars when I thought Thane/Verbal were mafia- I peeked them and confirmed it before pushing them more.

 

It's just that in this case the results were more ambiguous but we don't know what that means. But I KNOW it has something to do with this damn cult mechanic.

Shad's reaction just seems weird. I was fake peeked in House by Wombat and woke up to a fair few votes.

 

I panicked, sort of, I had 10 minutes or so and in that time shared all the information I had and asked for more time and gave reads, half opinions, everything I could type in the time I had. Most importantly I voted the guy who fake peeked me (albeit I had a guilty on him)

 

 

 

Shads reaction is just 'well that's interesting', he's not questioning your alignment at all. He's gone straight to interference and wifom and I don't like that he's getting me to bring it up

 

Fwiw that looks doubtful since your result included his name.

 

What is the point of red?

 

1) You had 10 minutes.  I had 48 hours.

2) You had a scum peek on the guy who faked on you.  I had mechanical reason to think Laine should be town.

3) You have seen me fake "panic" over a lynch as scum.  You have seen me direct traffic as cool as a cucumber with the leading train at EoD to get out of a mislynch as town.

 

How is red in any way relevant here?

 

Blue, uncountered odd/even cops ought to be as good as masons, and I was town reading her besides, and there are very few scenarios where it makes sense for scum!Laine to sacrifice all of that credibility to lynch a single town who she already has in her pocket, and she very explicitly instructed people to not lynch me.  I drew the more reasonable conclusion that she was lying for answers.  People brought up cults, which I never even considered and have no experience with, and it became a lot less obvious to me what was going on here if recruitment was involved.  You're immediately calling it "interference and wifom" instead of considering every angle.  That is unlike you.

Celeste never said who she would peek.  If she had called Thane ahead of time and there was a recruit mechanism, I could understand scum not Role Blocking her to simultaneously frame Lenlo and recruit a peeked towny.  But she didn't, so there is probably no RB, or else scum took a gamble that she would peek town, which is a bit of a stretch.  Lenlo's missing shot is hard to accept at this point.  I could lynch there today.

 

BFG has felt off to me all game, and I've continually called her out about it.  She did it again today.  I get the sense that she's scum hunting but lying/inflating the issues she raises.  She has a world of 3p equity and if there is good reason to believe a cult is in this game then I have a pretty strong feeling she's a part of it.

 

I can go with either.  Laine's "blue" peek still makes absolutely no sense to me.
