Yeah you asked why I asked you instead of him and I said it was because of your +/-. But I think I've been getting a little confused.

 

Wish ISO responses... Consider this whole section to be @WISH

#1267 "Zander, certain people have different tells wrt their reads of me. Penny tends to buddy me as scum, and scum-read me as town. This game, however, I think that her read on me is actually genuine. She sometimes messes up her read on me (of the two of us, I read her better than she does me). Initially, it's quite easy to buddy me by town reading me, and scum often take advantage of this. I was fooled consecutively in a few games because of this, so I learned to become more cautious. Now, someone town reading me very strongly causes me to doubt their intentions, but I still easily town read people for town reading me, unless there's specific meta that tells me that's probably not a good idea."

  I feel like that top line is a little contradictory. @WISH What has led you to believe her read is genuine?

  LOL this is true. And I'm not seeing any of this here. Either it's self awareness or Wish is not scum.

 

#1272 #1273 #1274 I actually like Wish's responses to Zander, I feel like she took the time to really go through and answer them. What I like is that she seemed pretty solid in her responsed and even provided information such as past games to compare her to. Especially when being cased by Zander, I think her answers were rather toned down and that's a good look.

That doesnt matter my dear.  Its that you asking Nol as to why Turin isnt Town Telling that is bothering me.

Zander that's because asking of Turin isn't going to do anything. Probably the better question would have been worded "why do YOU think our town doctor can't towntell this game and had to out himself d1?" I just wanted to hear some opinions. If I asked Turin, it would be along the lines of "I am town telling, you're just not reading, etc, whatever" but if I ask someone else I can possibly gain insight into what they think or if they have seen something that i haven't seen.

 

 

But yeah...

 

I think zander is pretty towny because he is actually doing all of this and attempting to find scum.

 

Pizza, using your motivation thing, I find him super towny in terms of motivation.

 

But why is Zander focusing on the Alette/me dynamic? You can read any of the games that I've linked. What we do is not alignment indicative.

 

I also have more questions for people.

 

How are we going to lynch people if the inactives don't show up? We definitely need to hear more from csarmi and Pralaya. Nolder, too, but he looks the best out of all three, because of his 1) thread presence 2) content level 3) and questioning of people to garner reads.

 

I really hate putting my vote down unless I am absolutely sure that I want to lynch someone. My top lynch candidates are (as I've already said before):

 

Pralaya, csarmi, Lenlo, Nolder, Kaylee 

 

But I really don't want to lynch the low-posters until I've had a chance to really look into what they've wrote.

@WISH, two questions

1. What do you think of Csarmi's reads as translated by me a few pages back from this post I linked.

2. You say you're willing to lynch from Pral, CS, Lenlo, Nolder, Kaylee. I tell you that Lenlo, Nolder, Pral are off the table. Out of Csarmi, Kaylee who do you believe has been scummiest due to content and deserves to be lynched today?

 

Pral is absent.

I'm fine with a lynch on an inactive but that's all that is.

Csarmi is almost in the same bag.

No idea why Lenlo is on your list.

I've been distant so this makes sense I guess, I don't want to be lynched though please.

And Kaylee I don't have many notes on but she's positive for me so dunno what you found lynchworthy.

Nolder. I don't want to lynch an inactive like Pral. Give him to tomorrow and let him give us a reason to lynch him. Otherwise, we're going into tomorrow without the information of why people voted in this lynch. IRT Kaylee, she doesn't feel invested in her reads to me. I think that is deserving of having her in the POE at this point. I think Wish is noting the same thing in #1300?

Basically, I expect you and Zander to find scum. If we keep going and you haven't caught any, I'm going to turn on you.

Again, disagree. I'm not understanding Pizza as an option though. He's going to solve himself within the next two nights anyways.

I think I asked you before, but not sure if I missed it or not. If so, apologies.

A big part of it is I don't like his position on Celeste.

He agrees she appears scummy but doesn't want to lynch her.

So if that's how he feels I think he could buy her an extra day with his own life.

See how he feels about it then eh?

Is this banking on Celeste being town or mafia? Sometimes people are just scummy as town though. Nolder, what do you think of Pizza's more recent ISO of Celeste and the research he's done? Does that change your read of him? Why/why not?

 

 

Ok, I caught upto 30 pages. Not able to do more than that per day.
 
So far, I have a feeling Turin is town. Based on my experience with him, his vote on Shad seems towny. It is usually the sort of reason he votes but as scum, he is not that straightforward. 
So is Nolder. The whole reaction test thing that he did and his insistence to play the way he wants to play says town.
 
I am fine with Zander and SHad too. Zander is more subtle as scum which I don't see in this game. 
Pizza, I only have a couple of games with him and the tone I am seeing is townish. 
 
I am not feeling good about Kaylee. She seems to get convinced very easily - I noticed at least a couple of instance - feeling as if she is trying to get townie points. Playing a very safe game.
 
The interesting thing that I could see is that people were hardly voting till page 24 or so. Turin had a vote, Cass had a joke vote and it was more of discussions. It was almost as if the scum was itching to either follow an easy vote or start a train. THen Lenlo votes Celeste and gives a vibe as if he is testing something. And, Celeste votes Shad (who already had one vote). BOth these sounded a bit forced at that point in game. Don't see them both as wolf.

So I'm doing the same iso procedure on Kaylee.

 

This can take an hour or so. No idea how long I was doing Celeste's. BRB

No one else has read Turin as town based on his posting within the first 20ish or so pages. How are you doing this?

 

This may be just my paranoia, but it seems to me that it's easier to look at his hardclaim and then read everyone else in relation to that hardclaim.

Hmm... I just really like Lainey standing up for Penny and me, and at least attempting to answer me/being patient with me...

 

Cass I'm mostly meta/tone-reading. It feels like she's done a lot of work, but I don't really remember how it's been impacting the game progression.

 

I'm going to stand up for a town read and even if I wasn't town reading you, I'm not going to let anyone get lynched purely because they're falling into a habit and linking themselves like you two are.

I really hate how he's tunneling me, but I can't see him as anything other than Town

Lenny, Zander will tunnel as town or mafia and wont rest until he's gotten his lynch or his target is proven town. Best you can do is answer him rationally and work on finding scum to satiate his thirst.

Celeste: who should we lynch today and why?

I'm really not sure because it looks like everybody is just townie and I need something more. A flip, a mislynch, even a slip so I don't make a mistake. What's really making me get sort of reaction like is that people won't even look at my other games here that I was mafia in except shad.

I prefer to just work in the current game. I try not to swayed meta if possible. I can't blame you for not being sure since I'm in same boat, but at least give a few names you're less sure of.

 

 

You seemed to trust my meta read on Wish earlier, at least to an extent.  What made it compelling in your opinion?

He's not reminding me of rustlemania, that was an immediate scum read. He's doing something different here, I just wish he'd show me MORE and preferably before deadline. :/

Reading through his work, he's done enough to warrant a /slight/ town lean but not very much. I just am not getting enough. At the same time, I'm not getting anything to push him down.

Lenlo I really suggest you read Raganorak for differences in my play. I was a godfather in that game hydrating with Wish. We are different this game.

Everyone else is more or less fair game. If I had to choose someone to lynch, I would have wanted to go after Turin, but atm I have no reason to doubt his hardclaim. Meh.

The wolves are probably in the inactives, though I hate to say it. None of the fairly active players have really pinged me.

See, that's the thing, and maybe you're sincere about it but it's always "tomorrow" with too many people.

It just never ends up happening which is why I tend not to bother in most games anymore.

It only leads to accusations of me being scum going for an easy lynch.

 

I don't object to anyone having Kaylee in a POE for lynch but she's not in mine.

I don't think I have enough experience with him to say whether that's true or not but my instinct is to disregard.

When I think I have scum I want to lynch them not wait to see what they do.

No. I didn't read it. I doubt it would since afaik he didn't change his position.
