2- It doesn't matter if it doesn't make sense to you. If someone doesn't directly interact with me, I cannot tell if something is off or not. For me, it's harder to do it from a non-involved position of looking in from the outside. And I prefer to be involved.

You did give some reasons for your read of Penny but what about the rest...lazy reads with no reasoning, And again with the "people not talking to me" sounds like an excuse for not giving a read.

I've been called out for this many times before. When I read the thread, I post my notes in the thread. Stream of consciousness posting. You may read if you like, because I like to show my progression of reads. Please ask Penny about the player named Earthious. In fact, I do a very similar thing as compared to her. The reason I don't post my reasons is because I'm not sure yet of my reads, as they can change even as I'm writing up a post. I may start writing a post, but as I'm thinking about it, my read on player x changes because I approach them in a different way, or something they post right before I post causes me to change my reads. It's difficult for me to post a reason every single time I make a read, as even a very small action can cause my read of someone to change. That's why I prefer to stick to gut, because those reads do not change.

From what I've read so far, you just have a very fundamental dislike of my playstyle, and I think we can agree to disagree about what's scummy.

Two different interpretations of the same scenario - Pizza felt that the Shad explanation/reaction to the meta thing was towny, while Turin felt that it was scummy.

I feel almost every post a scumbag does has a motive or a reason to manipulate someone.

If hes scum he's got an idea of what to say there that advances his agenda.

I'm still looking and not certain with reads except for the one's on Cass and Wish. The whole fact that y'all are pushing into a defensive corner doesn't help because it blocks the scum hunting. If you guys are so adamant that I'm not a townie than congrats you have your first mislynch. I'm done defending this little issue with the timing of my unvote.

She might actually be really easy to read.

She's saying that she is, that this game is wildly different from her past 2 scum games.

Now, I'm not saying that clears her.

I am just saying if I can't get a handle on her game here by itself, it's worth looking into what she says her meta is in the past 2 consecutive wolf games and also her past townie game.

If it's really different and this game is in the townie camp then that's something. It's not proof but it's much more than a null lean.

I'm only half done and most of the rest of the iso looks more content heavy.

But my first inclination halfway through this ISO is to not lynch Celeste; to do the work and read those games she cited.

There's also a frustrated townie peeking through that green section.

@ Celeste, can you go into more detail as to what you felt about Shad (at the time, I need to know what you felt at the time. Now isn't what I'm asking about. Very specific.)

Anyway, Zander and anyone else who asks about Penny's unvote of Cass, it's acknowledging that it's a joke vote. Otherwise she would have pushed through with it.

It wasnt the vote it was the timing...and the otherwise she would have pushed through with it comment is strange....the whole Penny/Lenny back and forth is strange. I know they are friends and have a good rapport like me and Cory say. But this just feels off imo.

Contradictions are not inherently scummy. I think you're trying too hard to pull at straws, but that in itself isn't scummy.

I clarified why I tone read and hate it. It works, so I do it. I'd much rather prefer to use my brain, but that often leads to WIFOM. Also, I'd like for a chance to use my brain, thank you very much. Going to reread the Shad bit, because I am not convinced atm.

I still want to town read you, but this kind of nitpicking/TMI makes me a little reluctant. I admit that there's some confirmation bias, because I have a tendency to town-read people who call me town.

The whole grasping at straws/nit picking/TMI comments Ive commented on and I still dont get where shes coming from with that but what I wanted to point out is the bold. Yet another contradiction here cause youre doing THE EXACT OPPOSITE with Penny and myself..... And also have you ever heard of #POCKETING

I HAVE HEARD OF POCKETING. THIS IS AN ISSUE WITH MY OWN PLAY THAT I AM CONSISTENTLY TRYING TO FIX.

I believe I've answered all your questions except for why I read Kayley/Lenlo as slight town.

The reason for that is a lean, as I've mentioned before. I'm going to attempt to explain it, but as I've mentioned before, it's little things that I notice that cause me to develop these reads.

Actually, rereading the Zander posts, kinda like where he's heading. I like that he's questioning me.

This was what I was talking about with Penny and myself...she wants to Town read us or give us Town points for sussing her.....but just wait a sec in this post and see where I my problem is coming from.....

I've already addressed this issue up there. It's one part of my own meta that I need to work on.

Anyway, Zander and anyone else who asks about Penny's unvote of Cass, it's acknowledging that it's a joke vote. Otherwise she would have pushed through with it.

It wasnt the vote it was the timing...and the otherwise she would have pushed through with it comment is strange....the whole Penny/Lenny back and forth is strange. I know they are friends and have a good rapport like me and Cory say. But this just feels off imo.

Lol... This rapport thing happens often when we're both town and we both know it.

Contradictions are not inherently scummy. I think you're trying too hard to pull at straws, but that in itself isn't scummy.

I clarified why I tone read and hate it. It works, so I do it. I'd much rather prefer to use my brain, but that often leads to WIFOM. Also, I'd like for a chance to use my brain, thank you very much. Going to reread the Shad bit, because I am not convinced atm.

I still want to town read you, but this kind of nitpicking/TMI makes me a little reluctant. I admit that there's some confirmation bias, because I have a tendency to town-read people who call me town.

The whole grasping at straws/nit picking/TMI comments Ive commented on and I still dont get where shes coming from with that but what I wanted to point out is the bold. Yet another contradiction here cause youre doing THE EXACT OPPOSITE with Penny and myself..... And also have you ever heard of #POCKETING

I HAVE HEARD OF POCKETING. THIS IS AN ISSUE WITH MY OWN PLAY THAT I AM CONSISTENTLY TRYING TO FIX.

I believe I've answered all your questions except for why I read Kayley/Lenlo as slight town.

The reason for that is a lean, as I've mentioned before. I'm going to attempt to explain it, but as I've mentioned before, it's little things that I notice that cause me to develop these reads.

Zander, you're being too stubborn and aggressively tunneling me for something that is a fundamental disagreement in thinking processes.

I don't get the same experience with the game if I act that I am detached from it.

I don't understand how Zander is reading me if he thinks I'm Penny... We're two completely different players.

Tis is just ridiculous she knows that I know the difference between the slots. I just mixed up there RL names. Trying to wash away my read and suss on her....aint gonna happen my dear!!!!

Am feeling pretty sick, and am in two other games, plus trying to fill signups for my own game. These are mere excuses for lack of content, but yeah, this game was not my priority yesterday.

I am going back and gonna do what I do best - initial reads.

Will try to solve this within the first 10 pages, tyvm.

Excuses are excuses and you keep making them...Like I said and proved with Shad this is a pretty good Scum Tell.

Pretty confident comment that rings hollow....especially since youve mentioned...you dont know everyone so lack of Meta knowledge makes that pretty hard. I dunno this feels like fake bravado imo.

Im still hoping Wish catchs up to it, but im considering the possibility that she has already caught up to it and may just be ignoring it.

I'm feeling comfortable with my read on her because that's usually how I play games when we're together. I read her as town almost with complete accuracy. You can ask Laine/Cass.

If she turns out to be scum, all I can say is that I messed up. But atm, there's no reason why I should doubt my read on her.

I completely missed this post during the initial read, only saw it quoted in a post by Zander which I was looking for the origin of a response from Celeste from.

This is really good stuff from Shad. This is a second town bomb post on day one.

I don't think I'll ever lynch shad this game and I don't think we need to scan him either.
