GG everyone! I knew Shad and a few others were having a really hard time reading me because I haven't been 3rd party in a loooooooooooong time and I took full advantage of that.

 

Unfortunately I just had god awful reads this game and couldn't get rid of the mafia.

Oh well that's the way it goes. I'm happy to have gone so far in this game it was a real challenge.

The worst part was I told my partner it was all an act and I'd pull my vote on him before things got too hot.

He believed in me and I betrayed him. I legitimately felt bad.

 

For about 10 minutes and then I got my new cool role.

Ok I'm reading the DT and I don't think people appreciate the situation I was in enough and it doesn't look like Tress explained my thoughts.

I was in a position of being townread but also being (weird) for a long time. Weird eventually morphed into scummy but for a long time I was categorized as town but...off.

Had people seen a kill that shouldn't have been there they would be thinking SK and I actually got really nervous for a bit when scum got vigged.

So the way I chose to use my kill was to kill targets that HAD to die with the hopes that mafia would just double up their kill with mine and no one would be the wiser but if they didn't at least the people who had to die did die. It worked out pretty good but on N3 I chose to holster and I was going to holster the rest of the game until the win was achievable because I just couldn't let the town (or mafia) know I was out there.

 

Be honest Wish if you saw an extra kill who would you have shot?

Town, who would you have looked at first as a potential SK?

The thing about that is...I'll face down an impossible lynch situation.

Because it's never really impossible. If you can talk and the people will at least consider your words it's never impossible.

I've faced down impossible lynches before as town and scum and beaten the odds and I'm confident in my ability to do that if given the chance to speak.

That's why I started really focusing on talking to Cass and Alanna because they were the keys to a Celeste lynch. I wasn't counting on Celeste rage quitting.

I mean I don't know if it worked but I turned up the emotional manipulation to maximum on Alanna there at the end. I was freaking out because I was like there's no way someone doesn't see this and call it out. I'm just a Nolderp trying to save you from wolves at your door please believe me. Ugggghhhhhhhhh.

When I was talking about inactives and lynching Pral was probably the only time I was truly sincere in this game.

I was also serious about not talking about it again. I'm not going to so don't expect that meta from me in future games and if you see it lynch me 100% of the time because I'll be scum. I'm done being the jerk who has to point out that lynching low activity or inactive players is the best move in the early game 9/10 UNLESS you have a better candidate. If you're 100% sure you caught a wolf on D1 fine, lynch them and see what happens. But if you're only ~50% sure or less and you're 100 pages into the game lynch the guy with 15 posts ffs.

I believed with all my heart and soul that Celeste was a wolf.

Her lynch was supposed to bail me out of hot water and propel me to the win.

 

Shad...I did think he could be her partner but I didn't really care that much which is why I put off his ISO.

Like, see? I got lynched and game ended.

If I'd done that ISO I would have been PISSED because it would have been so much work for no gain since it was CELESTE who had to die first not Shad.

It's my one skill as scum and I'm very proud of it.

I am not usually an under the radar type player.

But I can usually talk myself out of at least 1 lynch.

I learned how helpful it can be to mark the alignments down in color on lynches from Ape.

It didn't help this game but I just wanted to be seen trying to do something.

Also I always put it neutrally so everyone who reads it can see what's what.

The only time living players get to be blue usually is if a dead cop confirmed them.

It's kind of silly to color yourself blue for the heck of it. Like, yeah, we're all going to claim to be town.

Not coloring yourself blue is not a slip and anyone who tries to push that is either dumb or scum.
