I'm probably going to regret this, but I've got Calder as reasonable town right now.  I don't hate the reasoning for his initial push against Shad at all, and his response to Shad's question wasn't wrong IMO.

 

Gutread on Shad was just barely above rand for mafia after Calder's point, and #50 sounded like he was trying too hard to appear not concerned, but #54 is plausible enough to keep him null at this point.

Not bad.

 

Tbh I was sort of intrigued by Shad's initial response to my vote because I didn't actually have a reason for it. His explanation in misunderstanding that Calder isn't new was plausible at the least.

 

Calder's push back was alright. I like that he noted Shad's +1 although I hadn't specified anything but he seems experienced enough to be able to play the POV game. His response to my vote was null but there was nothing really to respond to. I just wanted to see how he'd react early on since he's new to me.

Funny.  I prefer early peeks since that way everyone knows they're fake rather than reads if you flip vanilla, and they're less easy for scum to ignore as consensus reads rather than peeks.  I'm curious why you think waiting until a "peek" is more easily dismissable as a read (and therefore less cover) is useful

The first one could be argued to be genuine, but two in a row after my comment? Those "i'm really scared posts" have never sat well with me. Scum not wanting to engage imo. But, i want your opinion.

 

And it's odd that you single this out considering I did directly engage you in another post.  (You initially blew it off with the WIFOM comment.)  I'm getting a Kivam in Pulp Fiction vibe.  >_>

When you're not 3 hours into a game that started unexpectedly.     More seriously, I would say between late morning and early evening eastern time, but it varies.  DM has a considerably higher percentage of non-U.S. players than WF.  Looking at the player list, Dice lives in Australia, Nyn lives in Israel, and Thane is from...Belgium?  

 

Weekdays are big for activity.  Weekends are dead.

I think I kind of answered your question with my previous post, but I don't think you're crazy, no.  Like I said, the post about trembling with fear (I'm assuming this was the first, with "would scum do this?" being the second) stood out to me, so I can see where you're coming from.  

 

FWIW I don't think Shad would have problem engaging as mafia overall, so that's null for me.

 

 

After being on a scum team with him in PYP, I'll confirm that.  That was also his first ever scum game, and while he started out being afraid of being forced to talk about me (a teammate) on thread, he got over that real quick.

No.  You called the 'I'm so scared' post an evasion from engagement.  I made that after your 'nonchalant' post.  And you're generally spinning all of my questions into scum reads of me instead of answering them, which was Kivam's scum tactic all through PF.
