I probably shouldn't post just after I've woken up.

Basically I would have agreed if I'd seen it yesterday. But I'm uncomfortable changing the deadline with this game format without everyone being aware of when the new deadline would be.

My presence this afternoon is going to be sketchy as well, so I'm going to stick to deadline today.

Lol, I'm making this more complicated than it needs to be in my head :/

If everyone will confirm their preference then we will switch to hammer. As things stand at the moment that will end day.

I will be in and out of thread this afternoon so don't know how long it will be before I see your confirmations.

FYI, I will be out for Rosh Hashana beginning this afternoon, returning tuesday night.  As with the sabbath, I won't be able to sign on at all during that timeframe.

ftr: i understand hammer would end the day, but at this point we have said everything that needs to be said. If it's not Nolder, i die the coming night, leaving Kivam, Zander and Nyn to fight for victory. I have faith that they can pull it off, should we be wrong about Nol.

Hammer is prefered, deadline is still alright, let's do this.

i'll be reading and following through notifications

Been reading Nolder's posts from D4. He's been about. When Shad asks him questions he answers and he doesn't really need to defend or anything, because Shad does most of the talking for him. And even on this day... he says that if anyone has questions, he'll be around for a bit. But he's not making inquiries.  I don't see him.....TRYING to figure it out. I don't sense curiosity. Nervousness. Hesitation. Yes, he gave his PoE. We all did. But we're still all thinking, analyzing, searching.... and most importantly, debating and hesitating. I know I am. And Kivam is, as well, albeit with bad conclusions. But even though we do have a plan, we're not just going through the motions. We're assessing... and re-assessing. I don't feel that coming from Nolder at all. I see someone who's a lot less spoken than the rest, letting things fall as they may. A more hands off approach.... that in theory should make him look like he doesn't have an agenda... when really, in my mind, it makes him look more suspicious. He is not taking an actual active part in trying to figure this out, IMO. He comments when asked, mostly.

As far as his reasons for his POE.

Here's the reason he picked Laine the previous day

I prefer Alanna today. Kiv was instrumental in catching Crusher, even if I don't understand his trap.

Unless their plan was to bus Crusher all along it doesn't make much sense for him to do that since Crusher was getting very little heat up until Kiv's trap.

[v]Alanna[/v]

Here's the reason he picked to lynch me before Kiv:

Nolder, why Nyn over Kiv?

Kiv was instrumental in lynching Crusher.

Until Kiv's trap Crusher hadn't really been on anyone's radar.

The only thing that gives me pause is Kiv was bragging about how he likes to bus and how he brought that attitude to JN.

It would still be an extremely ballsy play to be the first person to go hard against your own partner though, Occam's Razor would suggest he legitimately caught Crusher imo.

Nyn doesn't have anything like that behind her. Not saying she's played bad. I don't think anyone left on the chopping board has. It's a matter of choosing people over extremely minute and mostly inconsequential details you know?

Can you spot the difference?  Hint: there isn't much. He focuses at one thing Kivam did... doesn't bother to comment on anything else irt Kivam, Laine's or my content.... and that's basically all he says. Kivam pushed Crusher. Occam razor says they wouldn't be teammate. I'm gonna go have a nap.

Shad might have been comfortable with the reason Nolder gave for putting Kiv before me on POE. But it doesn't sit well with me. His entire decision is cause of Kivam's trap sprung scum. Even though he went on and on how that trap was stupid and that he didn't get it, pre-flip. He even pushed Kiv for it and kept defending Crusher from the push. I get that with Crusher's flip things changed.... but I still can't get over the way he was behaving irt Crusher's push. Not to mention that when he was assuming Kiv to be scum... he said it would make Crusher town. So first... he was ignoring the option of bussing when assuming Kiv is scum... not he's avoiding the option of bussing when assuming Kiv is town. But... he's fully open to think I was bussing Crusher?  Sure, that makes all the sense in the world! Also from a scum POV, he'd stand a better chance getting to F3 with Kiv because of Kiv's rep... where's with me he wouldn't stand a chance. So I think he chooses to lynch me first 100% of the time as scum.

The thing is that he didn't really put any work to deciding the order between Kiv and I. Or Laine for that matter. I don't see ANY work. His reasoning is very superficial... he picked out one thing Kiv did.... admittedly, an important thing.... but that's all of it? Kivam has over 200 posts. I have over 400 posts. We did a lot, said a lot. If he was legitimately looking for scum I would have expect him to take a better look at both of us. Not to do a huge ass ISO, cause that's not really his style... but at least give a more fleshed out reason to his choices. He hasn't at all.

All I see is low effort Nolder who's letting us squabble while he stays in the middle ground. I'm like 90% sure he's scum and Kiv is just being thick.

indeed. Waiting makes people hesitate. Which, in this case, doesn't really help the game.

Really really hope you guys are right and I'm wrong.

Kiv, if you are town, the game ends with Nolder's lynch. You have absolutely nothing to worry about.

If you're scum..... Worry.

The battle was at Paaran Disen, the city had changed hands several times throughout the war, it was an attractive target if only for its symbolic significance. Whoever controlled the Hall of Servants, as defecated and broken as it was held the hope or despair of the people.

The skies were full of fireballs raining down, armies of Aes Sedai and Dreadlords attempting to obliterate the others armies, while working to protect their own. Skies were turbulent, full of thunder and lightning. The once lush fields and meadows where the armies fought were now nothing but mud wastelands.

The armies of Light trembled, but held, first for a day, then two days and a week as the Dark One's armies battered them relentlessly.

Then the first scout rode in,

"Monsters" he screamed, "an army of monsters front the north"

A second scout rode in equally shaken,

"The East as well" he said shaken and scared

Lews Therin wove a small gateway and peeked through from a hilltop, and observed the approaching armies.

"Light help us, what are they? Where did they come from?" he whispered then pulled himself together.

He wove fireballs and flung them through the gateway. The monsters died, "at least they have no defence against that" he noted.

Rubbing his eyes tiredly he looked at the armies current position. There was a surge amongst the Dark One's forces, no doubt aware of the incoming monsters.

Sighing he drew the power into himself, past the point of sweetness, to the point of burning himself out, and opened a gateway looking directly at the armies of monsters. Death reigned amongst them, none could stand against the onslaught of death. Abruptly he sensed channelling nearby and span, but it was just Mieren and Ares standing nearby, also throwing fireballs at the monsters.

"Elan and Nemene are countering the army to the north" she said slyly, edging towards him.

Lews just nodded.

The last of the monsters died and Lews returned to the battlefield, to find that in his temporary absence the Dark One's Armies had been driven off, at least temporary.

With a snarl he stalked through the city looking for the research centre.

"Ishar" he demanded "where is he?"

"He's disappeared" a hassled looking administrator replied, "He destroyed several records, and stole several ter'angreals" panic was audible in her voice.

Lews nodded abruptly and walked away.

Nolder has been lynched he was

Aginor, Mafia goon

The Dark One, using the armies of shadowspawn wrecked more and more of the Lights armies and there were several high ranking defectors that shook the determination of the Light side. In a last ditch desperate measure Lews Therin lead a number of Aes Sedai to the location of the bore and was able to place seals around the bore. By happenstance Thirteen of the Dark One's most powerful Dreadlords, known as the Forsaken were present at a meeting when the bore was sealed, trapping them outside of time. With a single stroke the Dark One was sealed away and his armies lost both his influence and thirteen of their strongest Channelers and Leaders.

The Light had won the war...

And first thing I'm really sorry for messing up the deadlines. Allowing people to vote for the original deadline Day 2 was correct since essentially it just moved deadline back to the original deadline ignoring weekend extensions. However I probably shouldn't have allowed the option to switch to hammer and that was my mistake  I was distracted earlier this week and didn't really think through the implications of what allowing it to switch to hammer would do.
