4. He knows he should engage in the game at this point. Therefore his first game related post is very flaccid and forced. He makes no attempt to read anyone else. He construes an uninformative post as meaningful in order to make content. I insist that there were other posts to pick a part.

5. He goes away/to sleep after making one game related post. He has not been on since. If the above fos directed at snow was in fact a meta-vote, then two questions: 1. why didn't he meta-vote someone over a better reason in the first hour of play; 2, why hasn't he followed up in the last 15 hours?

I have played with Ocicat before and he comes in with points but posts when he has things to say. It's easier to tell his alignment when you put pressure on him.

 

 

Can you tell us what he is like when pressured and how you can tell if wolf or town? Do you think there has been pressure on him, and if so where

I made the comment about being disappointed about Kivam revealing Loki's wincon. I was expecting it to not be revealed, being he listed mafia and town, but not Loki's, in the signup thread.

 

You read what I said and took it as annoyance that Loki's wincon was public knowledge. The reason I am suspicious of you is because of your view of annoyance. I hadn't even considered Loki's POV in the matter. The fact that you did makes me question if you are Loki.

The reason I was concerned about Mafia preparation is because me and Key were given our Hydra QT link when we received our Role PM four days ago and had zero limitations on what we could talk about. I wanted to wait on Kivam to give me permission to say this because it's a grey area. So yes, I am sitting here at work, making sure my boss isn't walking about, having a dumb argument about how I could possibly know anything about off the thread communication and Leelou outright suggesting I am dumb enough to "slip" and reveal I am Mafia who decided to reveal that my team had pre-game chat.

 

So, yes, it got under my skin. I'll get over it, and keep working on my reads and do the best that I can this game in whatever situation I am thrown in. We know I have problems with lack of patience and that I can get momentarily rustled (especially if someone is trying), but again I will get over it and move on.

 

Just annoyed to the point where it's bleeding into RL, but that's definitely my problem so I'll shut up about it.

Reading this, I hope that Lee and Verb lack of interacting for 3 pages may not be intentional on lee's part because my gut is saying talya and verbal make a better pair.

 

 

 

like to clarify, for thread, i believe it's unnatural that lee and verbal don't talk for about 60 posts while talking on the same issue. seems like they should have crossed paths more, especially if verbal agreed with lee's judgement.

 

and if verbal agreed with lee's judgement, even if he didn't talk to lee about it, i think it would have made more sense from a town's pov to discuss the case more and pressure cory, but verbal more or less floats through it.

 

 

I think the way he was prodding Leelou to continue and then trying to make it into something and then immediately backtracking with the "oh frustrated Cory is town" might have been him trying to stoke the flames on the thread and getting caught with his pants down afterward

 

His content is low since the game started on Friday and he's gone weekends but his posts from that day are also generally unimpressive and nothing that makes me think he's a villager

Ok, but take into consideration I didn't even realize you were a hydra.  I probably should have known that, but I didn't.  So when I saw Leelou point that out, TMI immediately came to mind and I was curious to see how you explained it.  Had I known it would rustle your jimmies, I still would have said it, but that's only because I'm a @$$ (which is alignment neutral for me, heh).

Actually, yes.  If only this post, then I'd say he could do that as either alignment, but when you add it the other snippy posts, you can clearly see he's bothered.  That level of annoyance, at least in my experience with Cory, is indicative of his town game.

There is no "backtracking".  I forgot you were a hydra.  I saw what I thought might be TMI and I poked.  Leelou was harassing you and I joined in because:

 

1. I was curious about the potential for TMI.  You can be offended that I thought you'd potentially make that mistake, but it doesn't negate the fact that I thought it could have happened.

 

2. I'm a jerk and it amused me.  Remember that epic troll Thugonomics from VS?  I thought Clov was going to come find me IRL and yell at me for that, heh.

I need to actually read the thread in detail. My weekend was pretty consumed with hanging out with people and then being distracted. There are a few people that are new that I don't know how to read yet (Ocicat/Celeste/Wishtree/Taborline). Like I'm not thrilled with Ocicat, but I'm not sure if that's because they are newish and still in that awkward phase. Tress hasn't really said much that has been relevant, she discussed my vote on you, but I don't like how long we've gotten into D1 and she's not memorable to me. I don't have the best of feels from Sili, but I haven't had the time to read his posts in detail. Eldrick is not really concerning me. If he's scum it'll become obvious soon enough. Taborline has a mentor, but for some reason it feels like she isn't utilizing him. I don't really see Talya as scum here. She's a bit more collected. Tina I have on my mind to read her posts in detail, I'm normally able to read her early. I have to wait for Verb to be engaging to make a decision. Snow seemed on top of things, more leaning townie there. Dice, not really sure if his true conviction is there or not.

Looking back I think staged is the wrong word, but something seemed off to me in this, sili questions Sooh on her vote of me, but Sooh skips round the question, then sili answers it for her. I'm not sure who seems off, Sooh for skirting around his question (but I knew what her vote meant, so not sure why she would be worried about it), or Sili, because he gives her the answer of what her vote is about. Sili said later that he answered because she took her time to respond. But the time span isn't that much at all.

As I know I'm town, this makes me think he is a wolf looking to push a town lynch.

 

Also on rereading JS looks to be quite towny, similar to his BM game in the BT, he did try to get things started there too, in the tUS game he was a lot more reserved on D1
