4/2 with a named townie, so F5 from an angle of who was going to get voted. I knew there were two wolves in four players so I went with a snap decision and rolled with it. I think it looks worse in light that I wasn't around afterwards to continue progression more than anything else. I don't feel my vote was unreasonable given the points I made - he doesn't get credit for calling someone a wolf all game but consistently being elsewhere - AND MOST NOTABLY ON LYNCHES WITH THEM - when villagers are getting hung.

 

You may think Zander's activity isn't alignment indicative now - but you did before unless I'm mistaken. So I know you can understand my perspective on that point and where I was coming from.

 

If you look at Thane's vote as one to get town cred it makes sense, he did so similarly with Laine's lynch which I agree doesn't make a lot of sense from a wolf perspective outside of thinking he could coast on it.

 

Idk, wolves do weird stuff sometimes.

 

Either way - it's one of these two unless it's Dice and I've already touched on that. Hard bussing from his second post is a crappy way to play imo but unfortunately not everyone is gonna share my sentiments. So if it's him in the end I will be pissed.

Food for thought BFG - I noticed you say something earlier and the thought just occurred to me while I check the thread incredulously for responses.

 

Why doesn't wolf Talya hammer town Zander when he's L-1? You brought this up as a point in Talya's favor before she got lynched. Probably a good idea to reconsider now with her flip in mind.

I'd hoped for more discussion over night :/TLDRI'm about ready to LOCK Thane is as Town. Essentially reading through Day 1 there are a LOT of things that Thane does that I don't see him doing as mafia. His push against Dice, after most people have lock cleared him is also far more likely to come from Town!Thane than mafia Thane imo.On a side note Dice's reaction to Thane is also *more likely to come from town Dice. (Not actually massively confident that that's true as a generic statement, but conf bias for the win)

As is probably apparant (especially after the Rand/Verb mislynches) my cold, unfeeling, British exterior cunningly conceals a complete and utter inablity to determine genuine human emotion :unsure:That being said, general thread consensus was that Thane's ATE EOD1 was genuine and I'm happy to go with that and in fact most people cleared him for that.In general my thoughts about Thane are about the same as every game; sounds relaxed on thread, some thoughts easily thrown out, both of which cover both his mafia and town games perfectly I can no longer clear Thane on enthusiasm, tone or volume :(However, Pral said that Thane is more likely to 'defend' low volume posters as town and I'm happy to believe him on that (and also checked out the LotR game). I don't think mafia!Thane tries misleading setup spec as a tactic. His consistent *push against Dice is also ~more likely to come from town!Thane, possibly.The only thing he's done that I think is more likely to come from mafia!Thane is to doubt my claim, but from a generic viewpoint mafia aren't likely to doubt it (as they have no reason to in a open setup), so question becomes how 'un' generic a player is Thane (rhetorical question, don't feel you have to answer).Rand/Pral/Verb have all flipped town with Thane as a ~strong town read, and Pral and Verb have played enough games with him that I *trust their judgement over mine here, especially when mine is wavering on null.Thane is out of my lynch pool, unless somebody has extremely compelling arguments why it has to be him, and why everyone else (but one) has to be town.

Thane, I think you're town, I think Dice is town. If you disagree with the latter you need to convince me otherwise, I'm ready to listen to your gut :)

i have had them both town most of the game.  the only thing that stuck out to me cause now Im looking at everyone with a least a little suss except you is their sudden change of read on each other.  but meh.

 

Only looking Talya and AJ now,  Im trying to keep a town pool and look outside of it,

I'm around kinda. Been checking the thread when I get a moment from this morning but I haven't read in depth since I left the other night.

All I can really say is that I'm not a wolf here. I understand how the last two lynches look for me since I pretty much drove them but it is what it is. The ones you need to be looking at are those who cast their votes but didn't do much else. I was on the forefront of Laine/Rand/Verb the entire way. Tbh Laine probably doesn't get ran up to hammer range D2 without my involvement, so if you REALLY think I do that as a wolf just to make it harder for me to win or something then idk what to tell you.

There's two left and I'm about as confident as I can be that they resolve within Zander, Talya and Thane. I haven't really pieced together which combo yet but if I'm wrong and Dice is a wolf then I'll be a little pissed post game because I hate his play against Laine if they're partners.

I think the points about Zander dropping off the last few phases have merit and I really don't like the way him and Talya have been regarding each other while both being on town lynches.

Basically I am leaving this up to BFG/Dice because I can't research anymore. Just know you'll have my vote whichever way you go.

A bit of history, I haven't been back playing long, took a while to get into playing these new games with new people, so that was why people couldn't read me before. Funny how this and the other game I'm playing they are doing it well. Also a little (a fair bit <3) help from Leelou in how to make me more focused. And that is his reason for thinking I'm mafia, that is bad.

 

I think that Zander and Thane are the two left, I still need to check over AJ, I also didn't like him switching to Zander with no reason. Would he do that to Zander if they were on the same team. I don't know. This could be a ploy. Lets see if AJ comes in and Hammers me.

 

Dice like Thane also now seems to be willing to just jump anywhere without doing any work. What a thought AJ and Dice as the wolves!

 

Need to geet lunch soon and then I will look at AJ.

 

All I can say at this point is I hope wolves don't have a kill left because I think we have lost.

The answer to this i believe is that she did it to look town. She wasnt in any danger at that time really. everything was set to lynch zander.

In ISO there's practically nothing that I can say 'against' AJ that doesn't need extreme conf bias.

 

I just feel 'better' about the rest of you. Maybe part of that is just because AJ missed yesterDay. The vote still looks bad, he seemed to be feeling worst about Talya/Zander as a couple, Talya worst as an individual but votes Zander?

 

If AJ's town then it would have been easy(ish) for Zander/Dice/Thane to move the vote to AJ instead of Talya, so all 3 look pretty good as a result.

 

Since he came back again it feels like he's flinging mud to see where we flinch first, as opposed to actually hunting for anybody.

 

If it's not AJ we reassess, but I don't see how we lynch anyone else first. Hopefully either Thane or Zander will be able to log in soon :)
