The hard time I'm having currently is that both Eldrick/Talya seem content to sheep the largest wagon so it's hard for me to decide which of the two is doing it from scummy motive. Talya has joined 3 wagons today iirc and basically has just reiterated old points. Eldrick doing the "lynch this townie" routine looks bad. Might actually go there first because I tend not to buy into Too Wolfy defense this late in the game

Let me address some of your points because there is a lot wrong with this post. I would point out first that the "Yates is way more involved as Town" argument was used against me to get me mislynched as BP Cop but that's irrelevant. All *YOU* need to do is look at how active I was in our mentorship. Frankly, my game has changed a LOT since end of January. That happens to have coincided with the birth of my first child. I haven't posted on nights or weekends very often since. That's just my new reality.

 

The way he came in with two votes day 2 in full rage mode was pff, especially after he just stopped going after aj.

Three things about this:

 

1. I mistakenly thought I was vote leader because I was so far behind, saw my name at the top, and reacted. Even if that wasn't the case, why would that be scummy?

 

2. If you look at the case presented, then look at the game I linked to, then look at our alignments in that game; do you see why I would think AJ was trying to intentionally mislynch me? IT'S THE SAME EXACT CASE HE USED AGAINST ME WHEN HE WAS SCUM AND I WAS BP COP!!! And that was the last game we played together.

 

3. I "just stopped" going after AJ because Wombat. Also, I'm not sure why you think I would maintain a static read in a dynamic game.

 

They did not play like masons.

You keep saying this. How are masons supposed to play? Try to draw a NK maybe? Use that NK to confirm your buddy? You know - like say maybe try to crumb doc or vig to draw the NK like I did? Or how about this; support a plan to be copped in a game [twice actually] where the protection role had yet to be uncovered thereby confirming BOTH parties? Because yeah, I did all that. And that's precisely how you play mason. You try to draw a NK *or* get copped to clear your partner if you are in the poe.

 

If darthe had wombo roll he would still be alive. I doubt they rb and kill the same target.

But could easily just claimed this to get the cop lynched.

If Durin was a PR, Zander [universal Backup] would have gotten THAT role. By proxy, the first PR killed [permanently] was the Cop.

 

Eldrick could fithere with vt, but I have him as my last to lynch.

Vanilla. Durin was almost certainly vanilla. Possibly 3rd party survivor but who cares. Same difference.

 

They did not start the game as masons. What if darthes roll was one of the two claimed here. They found each other after n1?? This is just speculation.

LOL - if Durin was a mason their mason buddy would have come out already!! If you mean he might have been C-3PO or R2D2? That would have to be a pretty lucky coincidence.

 

What you are forgetting from a balance perspective is that we were both essentially VT to start the game. We only became masons *IF* I found R2. I very easily could have never found R2 before one of us was lynched or NKed. In which case, the other would have finished the game as a VT. Mason is a nice role for confirming each other, sure, but first we had to find each other. Thus, it wasn't a given that we would ever have a mason pairing, thus it isn't very powerful unless/until that specific scenario happened. Also, if I had tried to masonize scum I'd have killed myself. So, add that to your balance brew. I could have potentially been a negative utility role. Now look at how I found Sili. He was clearly my first, safest, and only obvious choice for N1.

No. We don't. We don't lynch people to prove claims at this point in the game.

 

Are there any Sili readers in the game? I know someone recently posted an awesome "How to Read Sili" guide in a recent game [i'll see if I can find it]. The big take away from that is volume. Sili has a reliable and predictable volume tell as scum. Look at Sili's post count. He's currently... 4th, I think? You can't FAKE that level of volume. And that's if you don't want to get into anything game specific.

I thought I had joined two, but you could be right. At present I can't look back. I'm going by what I remember has happened. At present I'm not sure who is wolf. I have arguments in my head going one one then the other.

 

I have had yates as wolf before and go back and forth on it. There is also yourselves AJ, I have read you Wolfe too. I want to get a wolf this time, as thoughts change so will my vote.

 

Again you seem to avoid the Yates and Sili votes. Do you think they are town and if so why, if not why .

 

I'm stuck on a station in sweltering heat and the train is delayed and no seats..grump mood. Lol

Wrong I'm blowing my way and how I see it. My perspective keeps changing.

 

If I went with my gut right now it would be Wombo, but that me wrong yesterday. There is something of a tunnelling with them. Can't put my finger on it, so that worries me. I have felt you were wolf earlier in the game but then you seemed to make sense. I could almost see logic in the mason breadcrumbing.. Then I feel something is off there too.

 

In fact those are only two votes where is this 3rd. I feel like AJ more so than you is trying to build a case on me from not being around so much which I have explained. If I can't play as much for RL reasons I let you know when I can. I has been a rough week with one thing and another and yet I try to get on and do what I can when o have a free moment.

 

This has the feel of another Heart push from wombs and AJ...

Quick Question: Tinfoiling!...I thought this meant ideas that are a bit out there...x-files type thing, and conspiracies. People seem to be using it in other places, does it have another meaning I'm missing?

His post about towning with Turin looked like possible TMI/buddying and his reaction to Shad's vote was over the top.  He also has no solid scum reads AFAIK.

Having ISO'd Sooh, before this I like Sooh's posts, she seems more engaged that her last wolf game, and saying what she thinks more. Question in bolded blue below.

I'm kinda setting aside Dice/Durin at the moment. I don't think that'll be resolved today anyway, plus they might both be town.

 

Zander is basically always polite. It's rare to see anything else out of him. Also he is the guy who wants everyone to be happy, so I'm not surprised his posts read like that, Talya. He would be careful not to hurt anyone's feelings.  1. I can see him being poilite, it's a little more than that, have you seen him as Wolf? What was his game like then in your opinion?

Re Heart - I think her post coming in and clearly skimming and giving her thoughts is fine. What I didn't like, which may or may not have been a typo since it made little sense, was that she said she'd barely be here next week as well. At this point, even if she is town, how does it benefit town to keep her around? If she doesn't have the chance to make proper reads and ideas she's basically just , excuse the expression, dead weight. If she is scum and we take her out, then great. If she is town and we take her out, then at least she won't make bad decisions at must lynch because she hasn't been able to follow the thread and ask her questions. However, I do see the point that her flip may not tell us much. 

 

That's how I see it anyway. 

 

At this point in the game I'm just waiting for a flip to inform my reads further. I feel a little like I'm banging my head against the wall, and I think a lot of people do.

 

So you would be quite happy to lynch AH?

 

 

At some point somebody is going to have to explain these references to Mynd and other players I haven't played with before...

 

 

@ Sooh - thanks for the boy on Zander, I was going to check the other threads to see what he was like. He is s prolific payer here so that's why it might stand out.

@ Sooh again - I don't like the idea of just lunching someone just because you just don't want someone that may oray mot be around. This isn't smells wolfie to me. There was a feel of wanting an easy lynch on someone.

@ Alanna - I'm also a bit suspicious of AJ disappearing, I didn't like how tunnelling he was on Seph, I need to go over Womby's post tonight. Because he is coming across better

 

I'm not saying that Zander would not do this as a wolf. I think he probably would show the same level of politeness, so if you note something different about it it's probably worth looking into, but I'm not seeing it as of now. 

 

As for Heart I'm not actively pushing her lynch, just saying I'm concerned if she doesn't become more active. 

 

I know you are not at least not directly, but you looked like you would be quiet happy to jump on her train if required. What do you think of Hearts list and vote on Dice?

Csarmi:  Claimed hated role.  wish we had cleared this up earlier.  Mostly played a townie role with a reluctance to hunt or lynch just about anyone.

 

Talya:  Helpful.  For those listing her in POE...read her game...actively trying to solve the puzzle.  I could list numerous posts where she answered questions and highlighted key concepts to consider throughout the hunt...especially pointing out the scene where Zander becomes the Cop.  Too much to like.  But her vote on Heart was disappointing.

 

Yates:  Had a town read on him most of this game...only doubt came when he said he was a mason with Sili.  Agree withpost that the final scum is most likely a JOAT.  Would explain the 4 scum count with an extra kill from N2.  If the masons are scum they had 5 scum plus an extra shot.  Just don't see that here.  

 

Sili:  Have a scum read on him since the active drive/vote to lynch Laine instead of Leelou.  Looked like he was covering for a scum partner.  Since then has mainly taken a scatter approach to hunting.  Hate the mason breadcrumbs and if his partner was anyone other than Yates I'd probably move there.  Guess at this point I just do not see five scum with an extra kill.

 

Eldrick:  Do not like how he's trying to appear confused townie.  He's smarter than how he's played and if I'm wrong on WomboCombo...he's my next pick.

 

WomboCombo:  Main reason:  They failed to listen to reason.  Think about that for a moment.  They.  When I get confused on the proper play I can only think it through my own brain.  They are a hydra.  They could converse with each other in a QT and still managed to appeal to blood thirst instead of taking a reasoned, rationale approach.  Now I know they will argue that it was not just them on the lynch train but I will reply:  Who drove the train?  Who worked against sound logic?  Who kept up the pressure with "GG...just lynch Heart" type commentary.  They were over the top convinced...and when players says they know it all...it usually means they have motive.  The motive was to eliminate the scenario Zander proposed.  Look at their responses today.  They argued they favored their plan over a No Lynch.  That is the expressed motivation.  Well the lynch Heart and No Lynch scenarios both avoided the situation we are currently in.  No Cop view.

 

Also, their argument yesterday was no way we have a Doc and a commuter in the game.  I now see the logic in that commentary but of course they now say they were wrong.  Fool me once, shame on them, fool me twice, shame on me.  Vote WomboCombo FTW!
