if leelou flips wolf I think clov looks bad for his misinterpretation, intended or not.

darthe looks good for leading the charge towards the end.

there is a bunch of outcomes but I need the flip to help really.

I think the leelou over laine was the right decision.

I could have voted but it would have been an uninformed vote.  Really wasn't needed as this was a hybrid hammer.  So neither.  I tend to resist the loud voices that pushed both trains at the end.  I think a heart or your lynch would have been more valuable to town as far as information gathering.  

 

I posted immediately after just to let town know I was in the vicinity and not off with LOA.  Call me indecisive on these two.

I think it's more likely that that there's a third party killer who renders it's death targets unreadable.

Clov is a weird mafia kill imo - if I had to guess I may lean towards him being a vig kill for how he ran interference to Leelou's wagon yesterday and someone was feeling ballsy with their hero shot.

 

Darthe looks to be jan'd, so I'd assume mafia thought he was a PR that they now have info on that won't be CC'd later on. That sucks.

Janitor is almost always a mafia role.

 

It's purpose is to block the villagers from seeing the coroner report of their target while they still get it. This allows them to safely claim something in the event they found a PR

I'm just gonna post as I read because I am basically seeing all of this stuff for the first time but with the added advantage of a wolf flip already on the table. So far I'm through pg 12 - 10% done folks. I'm gonna spoiler each post as I make them, but please take the time to read since I am putting forth the effort.

 

 

 

 

 

I'll follow up tomorrow. Essentially I think attacking Seph like AJ has been isn't productive, and I don't really see a reason why town him or town wombat would find it acceptable to assume someone who is essentially null from what I can tell, is scum. I don't like the approach. I actually wanted to hear why AJ was reading Dice town, but AJ changed the topic and Seph didn't press AJ far as I know.

I will probably be taking seph's side in this unless I think Seph is a wolf later. Right now I'm somewhere between null and town on him.

 

 

Pretty simple actually. Dice isn't some enigma that you need to look at sideways to figure out. Is his tone clear? Is it direct? Does his voice have conviction? Easy signs to look for - his cases don't need to be precise or articulate to clear him imo. Even so - Seph voting Dice for voting his 'peek' is bad even if the peek was real. Having pre-knowledge of Darthe's alignment doesn't make Dice a wolf for voting him and I think Dice's vote fits extremely well into his town game. That sort of stuff doesn't fly with him.

 

AwombyJ - don't like the tunnelling on Seph, AJ looked like he was looking for an excuse to vote Seph w/w?

 

 

Tunneling? I voted him literally minutes after his OP because I didn't like it. The stuff about the Gods game had nothing to do about it - I was just stating a fact that I wouldn't be very lenient with him this game. His subsequent posts also didn't look great to me. This is the beginning of the 'tunnel' narrative after Sili commented on it, it'll come up again later.

HoC wasn't the game, but no, I'm not really holding a grudge. Think of it more as stern big brother treatment because I recognize that Seph could develop into a very good player with some more notches on his belt.

 

@ Zander - my first reaction to Seph and his peek is that he was trying to act like some of the other top guys here having seen it being done, I thought he was quite new to Mafia...the tunnel info I didn't like because too many times I have seen this on day 1 and ended in disaster...not everyone had come into the thread. It was Seph's in insistance that he knows Durin is town that pings me more.

The w/w bit had a questionable fore as it was a thought that crossed my mind. I felt AJ trying to find an excuse to vote Seph, he might do that if he was a wolf partner or thought that Seph had a role, hence the question mark.

The thing you should pay most attention to is her nulls imo. Scum like to do this because they recognize they can't just ignore their partners but tend to try and say little about them. Food for thought moving forward.

Tbh it doesn't really matter and I don't think it's something you need to get hung up on. He's dead. We don't know his role but it's reasonably safe to assume he was town or at the very least not mafia. Treat claims as you normally would but now with the added knowledge that there is a janitor present. It creates a lot of wifom but whatever, play thru it. This'll probably sound familiar coming from me, but play smart and we'll be just fine.
