Janine was quick to drop her personal investigation in fear that an extremely reputable Frank Underwood - having a lot to lose - will not hesitate to pursue and eliminate her to protect himself. She got especially spooked after Underwood sent her Barnes' naked photos that he took months earlier as insurance for their business arrangement.

 

Skorsky immediately dismissed her journalism duties at Slugline and fled to the state of New York where she took up teaching at the college level - parting with Goodwin in a rushed state of panic and apologizing for life being unfair

 

In a gut wrenching conversation, Skorsky basically admitted to Goodwin that she sold him out to save her own skin, encouraging him to take the plea deal and admitting on the verge of tears that Underwood is going to get away with everything.

Despite receiving help from Frank Underwood in becoming White House Chief of Staff, one of Vasquez's first duties as Chief of Staff is to inform Frank that he has not been named Secretary of State.

 

Vasquez's son, Ruben wanted to attend Stanford University. She feelt guilty when Ruben received a rejection letter from Stanford since she was more focused on Garrett Walker's presidential campaign during the last year and her son's grades went down. Unbeknownst to her, Frank Underwood gets Gillian Cole to talk to the admissions office, and Ruben is subsequently accepted. Vasquez tells Frank that Ruben was admitted to Stanford and she knows it was because of him. After a debate on who was right with Frank, she decided to resign.

 

Leelou has resigned her post for moral reasons. She was Linda Vazquez.

So today we reread through Wombat for spew and figure out why Leelou was killed over other seer considerations, including myself

Leelou being the kill helps keep me from going down the wrong road with Dice (sorry Dicetastic, but I wasn't seeing it yet), and from paranoid tinfoiling about the EOD with Wombat/Cory which was starting to look really really overdone when I ISO'd Wombat this afternoon.

 

I'm thinking Verb is mafia here - the third I'm not too sure on - possibly Clov, possibly I was wrong on Cass (but dang, I feel terrible if she rolled mafia YET AGAIN).

 

Here's my notes from the ISO - most posts are accounted for, although I skipped some spam and summarized some of the excessive back and forth with Cory at EOD

If you honestly don't think I'm working hard enough AJ, I don;t know what to tell you.  I'm feel like I'm putting in a lot more effort than I should.  I don't have as many scum leads as I'd like, but given that I've been town hunting more than usual and that I was wrong on Sooh, that's not exactly surprising to me.
 
For the 4 in your PoE, I'd say FMPoV, Cass is the most likely scum at 3 to 1 odds over Cory.
 
FYI, you and Cass and Dice are my top three right now, but it's very fluid.  If you're town, help me out.

My town reads are a lot stronger than my scum reads and Sooh flipping town muddled things a bit too.  None of you are even close to "lock wolf" territory imo (not that I ever actually lock reads without mod confirmation).  Dice hasn't posted that much, so he could easily redeem himself, and both you and Cass have said some things that have made me think twice.  Combine that with some reasonable suspicion of my nulls and town leans, and I don't have an entirely clear picture of the scum team, but I do feel like I'm a flip from being able to break things open.  Any headway I can make before then could prove pivotal.

I agree on the point that Dice hasn't said much and could redeem himself - I'm willing to give him that opportunity as I think his posts today could be a glimmer of town!Dice coming out. I am a villager - I think Cass is probably ~more likely a villager than wolf so there is potential that all three of us are town. Let's pretend that is the situation.
 
Who would your suspects be?
 
The problem I am having is that I don't really see a scum team without you on it and I haven't gotten that sense yet that you're town. Taking me, Dice, Cass out of the situation leaves you with Cory, Leelou & Verb. The first two I am keeping as town for now and wouldn't consider lynching.

 

 
Yes, the list still applies.  I don't have any of Cory, Leelou, Verb as better than null/mixed atm so I don't see a problem with them as potential wolves at all.  But I think it's pretty unlikely that I'm wrong on all of my top suspects, so I don't see why I should pretend that you are all town.

What you should be doing today as a villager:

We still have two mislynches. The fact that me and dice is clear is irrevelant to our "mechanical" win odds, because by the time we reach must lynch in ANY scenario (final 5) the wolves have two night kills, so at some point if we don't lynch the wolves we'll be back in the same spot where there are no peeked villagers.

 

It is possible that SEVEN players can be wolves right now. Those players are:

 

Tress

Verb

Cass

Andrej

Kaylee

Clovdyx

Nyn/Hallia

As a village, we will be able to eliminate four of these slots before losing. So you can either

A) find who the two wolves are make sure they get lynched or

B) find THREE people you are very sure are villagers and never lynch them. I am far better at doing B) than A), so I am going through the thread and trying to find them. Right now off the top of my head I'd say if you cleared Nyn/Hallia, Kaylee and Tress we'd win the game 100% of the time, but I am alive for a reason and I will do at least my due diligence in trying to make sure we do not lose this game because this is likely my last day alive.

 

So, if you are a villager, now is the time to ramp up and start figuring things out. I need your help and cannot do this alone; I know a lot of you have been playing since the game started 100% but with the seer gone it is now doubly important you put some heart and effort into this game.

Also the cool thing about being that list of seven players and being a villager is that you know that YOU are a villager, and therefore you only need to find two other villagers.

A tip: if you want to make reading through living players much quicker, just put all cleared or dead villagers on ignore.

So you skip all the posts made by me/Darthe/Leelou/dice/Sooh since they are no longer relevant (you know their alignment and lack of ulterior knowledge, since we already know Leelou's peeks)

 

Considering me and Darthe combined for nearly 1/3rd of this entire thread, this might make things easier to go through

90% sure Tress is town.

 

Maybe about 80% sure on Cass.

 

Nyn has been on her town game since D1.

 

I liked Tress's ordinal reads and she's really kicking into gear now that she's back home.

 

Cass- I'd have to go with Nyn's explain of her game feeling less restricted. (Not her words). Basically that she's putting in work, making reads. It's the way she's handling herself too. Not willing to lynch her unless we get closer to YOLO and need to find a third.

Cass - I don't want her to be mafia, again, but I may have miscleared either her or AJ

Clovdyx - Pushed very hard as clear town by Wombat, possibly for WIFOM. I still don't feel like I can read him well.  Wasn't fond of the back-and-forth with Kaylee over her fake peek of me, very much felt like trying to discredit her as a seer candidate. I'll be leaning on Cory's opinion here TBH.

Verb - best bet to lynch today IMO.  Of all the possible seers left in the game, if none of our fake peeks were actually mafia, I think choosing Leelou for the kill points this direction.
