I'm still waiting for Zander to say whether he's been taught lying is inherently scummy.

i almost wanna vote now....

Nope, not a lie.  See?

What has A lot told you about the alignments of people who lie?

Alot

Did he explain to you the scenarios where it's beneficial to town to either hide the truth, or completely lie out right?

That was my question, and this is the only post you've made since then.

i defintely think there more then meets the eye there.

That doesn't really answer my question, so I assumed this was directed towards BFG.  If it was meant for me, I'm going to need some clarification.

Roughly at this stage at the moment

Clov

Sili

Yates

Zander

Tress

Cass

Dice

Sooh

I don't know what to do with Zander.  I've thought tone was awful a couple times and it seemed like he was purposely avoiding questions/deliberately being obscure.  His posts seem like the confused noob role which is typically a good thing for me, but he's got a mentor, so I'm wondering if he's not playing it up a bit.  What are you seeing that you like?

also don't like Yates as a stronger town read.

Reason I went with Yates is because his post to BFG (#22) was a seemingly half-hearted dirt kicking attempt.  Basically, if taken seriously, we can assume Yates was suggesting BFG is scum because she wasn't town reading him.  Not only is that terribad reasoning, I'm 90% sure she wouldn't just have given him a townread from the start.

So you are voting me for flawed reasons because you don't get meta-based jokes on day one? Thas cool.

[v]Clov[/v]

This is not a joke vote.

Clov for obvious reasons

Difficult when the game is so quiet but Sili looks engaged at the moment. His read on me is consistent with his current 'blues'. The early vote and questioning are a good look.

Yates is a weak meta read because I expect him to be more engaged as mafia.

Zanders hedging on Yates was before Clov started the train, not jumping on is probably a good thing. Extremely relaxed, although this is less of a ell than I'd normally consider it to be since he's possibly one of the more relaxed people on DM

Cass and Tress are null, since I have nothing to clear them on, BUT both are relaxed so far. Tress probably closer to a light town read than Cass, due to Yates interaction.

Sooh seems self conscious this game, and most of her contributions are 'null' statements (contrast with the Arthur game where she wasn't afraid to vote a claimed mason to kick him into gear) :/

Dice seems uninterested so far. I'd expect him to have an opinion on the Yates train by now if nothing else. But mostly I feel this should be a fun group for Dice and I don't feel he's having fun yet.

Can you give specific examples supporting any of this? I'm not reading him this way at all. Confused noob? Where do you get that, for example?

can u clarify the colors for me please!!

(Blue - strong town read)

Green - town reads the darker the colour the stronger the read

Black - null

Orange - mafia lean

(Red - strong mafia read)

No really strong reads, hence no red or blue

You could have done me a solid and faked a blue on SOMEBODY.

Clov do you want more detail?

It's 2.45 here, I'll be around for 15 minutes now, will probably not make it on before morning, since it's late now, but will try to find signal at lunchtime, otherwise will be a couple of hours before deadline.

For one, asking BFG about the colors.  I can see why a first time player wouldn't know what that refers to.  But considering his mentor is someone who was basically recruited by Cory, I'm a bit surprised he hasn't explained how people format read lists.

Two, saying lying is inherently scummy.  There's a lot of times that deception plays in town's favor.  His earlier post about stretching the truth...
