I know why I'm getting a town feel from Sili. He was town in the last game, and seems to be playing the same way in this game. I don't know if that's alignment-indicitive of him or not, but I get good vibes from it.

small catchuppointing out some things:

first: stop all the bickering, it makes it harder than necessary to catch up.

@Thane - are you saying that Yates' explanation was exactly what your reasoning was when you suggested giving direction to the PRs?

yes, i want to know how people judge others, not guide PR's to do their work. They'd be capable of choosing for themselves i think.

Hey.

welcome to the game Nolder.... you wolf?

Mafia also seeks.  Town also deceives.  Anyone who thinks otherwise is handicapping him or herself.

this is true. very much so

Out of curiosity, where is Pral? Haven't heard anything from him since WAY early in the day. It's been several RL days since.

Pral is hardly around D1, out of habit it seems. he's impossible to read D1....

Oh. ok. That's reasonable. Not a fan of D1 myself.

All people that I don't feel have a legit case, so no, no pressure.

Ouch. I felt that burn from here.

I just scummed with you, bro. Wrong move to play the newb Town card with me. Nothing you are saying is within striking distance of smart Town play.

This post reeks.

YOU reek. Get a name people can spell, already.

What's so hard about spelling Not Bob?

I don't like Yates' attitude. How is it pro-town to only work to protect yourself? Stop defending your claim and actually scum hunt.

Yes.... YES.... Pile it on!!!!

Do you have anything to actually say about this game or are you just going to try to ride your mason claim the whole way?

I still don't see how talking about something unrelated to the core of the game is scummy, but ok.

Depends how much you talk about it. I could talk about pokemon right now and it would probably be ok but if I talked about pokemon for several posts people would think I'm trying to distract them from the game, which is scummy.

anyway, yates, reads and reasons please, so I can 'see' you working? (and not just on the people who've voted u) XD

You're not the boss of me.

Malcolm-In-the-Middle-malcolm-in-the-mid

so.... without explanation required (from all of you, would be nice):

Vig: ?

Cop: ?

this would help me quite some.

Vig: Yourself

In other words don't fish for such information. Power roles make their own decisions most of the time. Especially on N1.

I know the temptation to swear is strong, but we must persevere.

Amen to that.

Sorry that took so long I watched several youtube videos after Better Call Saul, fell asleep, and then finally got around to doing the catch up.

I just checked and I guess deadline is in 13 hours.

I don't know if I'll be around then or not because I'm going to sleep soon and when I wake up I have some stuff to do.

I'm going to vote now just to be safe.

Didn't like his suggestion to have a mason lynched just to confirm the other and didn't like how he's danced around to conform to what others have been saying to him. Like he's trying to keep everyone happy.

Yates' point is a cop with a town view is like mason partners in that if you lynch the cop you get a confirmed townie.

Oh gotcha. I missed that. That makes more sense. Again important distinction between the two. Masons aren't an important role. Cop is. I wouldn't lynch an important role to prove they were telling the truth.

Masons are important though. Every town is important. I still don't get why you would want to sacrifice one on D1. Still leaning scummy on you.

Masons' importance comes out when they're cleared, i.e. one dies, revealing the other.

And a sacrifice that helps town is a worthy one.

Nope. They are also two townies that 100% know each other's alignments and can work together off thread with reads.

Not Bob. I'm having trouble following anything you say. It's not a reason to vote you, but it is annoying me.

Buy a dictionary or complete more logic puzzles...either way...I don't give a damn what you think you're entitled to

Yea. I'm probably just going to ignore you.

I suppose that's true. I was looking at their usefulness to town, not how they were useful to each other.

That is a big part of how they are useful to town though! It's more useful for scum to have them dead.

I didn't consider it. It makes sense, and if I still had any inclination to get a mason lynched (which I don't anymore) I would stop. I have a feeling I'm not surviving the day, though. Hybrid hammer and all.

@Eldrick - As you have acknowledged, you are probably today's lynch. Can you articulate a clear and concise argument outlining why you should NOT be today's lynch and provide one or two alternative suggestions for rope along with a well thought out point or two for each?

If you are Town, I'd rather not lynch you seeing as my goal is to lynch scum. I would thank you kindly for assisting me in this endeavor.

Sadly, no I can't give another suggestion. It's day 1, and I haven't seen anything particularly scummy.

I haven't seen how what I did was scummy either though. Poor judgment, sure, but I can't do much about that. I didn't realize talking about the triggers was going to blow up in my face like that. I was genuinely curious (and still am). I was wrong in my thinking of how to handle the mason thing.

For example; Nolder might be scum. Agree or disagree?

Nolder might be scum. Anyone might be scum. For all I know, you're scum, and pulling off this elaborate cover somehow. I doubt that, though.
