I played good in the beginning, was totally lost in the middle and actually made the right decission in the end. Good played, Err. I really thought you were town. 

 

Lot of good town play - Dice and Csarmi were great. Cory died N1 as always. :D

 

Great to play with all of you that I haven´t played with before.

Finally a game. I haven´t played in over a month. *shivers*

Mostly because waking up to head for work became pretty tolerable after checking my rand and I wanted to say BASICALLY THE EXACT SAME THING. Just instant relief.

I'm going to go ham this game. Let's clear every villager before EOD?

Okay, this is probably where I am at with everything, so look to this should the worst happen

 

~VILLAGERS

 

Manbat - pretty much as clear as anyone can get. there's a complete lack of dressing up that his wolf game tends to have and he's been paranoid and all-over-the-place in a roguish and intelligent way and I can follow him 100%. literally every time that I'm swimming lap for lap with him he's a villager; he cannot replicate that mindset for a long period of time as a wolf. I read him very, very well. he's 100% obvious to me. to be brief: I AM VERY GOOD AT READING HIM. I AM 100% SURE ON HIM. DO NOT TALK YOURSELF INTO BEING SUSPICIOUS OF HIM IF I DIE.

 

Tina - once upon a time in a game run by Salami i led a mislynch of Tina and swore i'd never let myself do it again. i read a bunch of her games and tl;dr i learned to read her. she gets mislynched a lot because her language can be clunky (english is her second language) and sometimes to the Mafia player looking for awkward grammar or w/e it can seem "off". her thought process, especially irt to me and to tommy, is extremely villagery for her. another player who can be LHF in Mafia, please think back to this read if a wagon on her starts developing after i die.

 

Tommyrod - if it makes you warm at night to feel like you need to kill Tommy before LYLO - 1 i would say go ahead, because he's got like 3% wolf equity. but he's almost always telling the truth here and i know his playstyle particularly well and there's few times i'm ACTUALLY confident in reading him one way or another. i've grown relatively healthily paranoid of him, but sometimes you just know that you are right and that's where i am. he hasn't made friends in this game so he probably can't last forever, but remember there is actually VERY LITTLE chance he's a wolf.

 

DiceTosser - most people know dice's town tells and he's hit on them all very hard here. AJ says the rule of thumb is that town!dice finds things and then harps on them constantly whereas scum!dice can mimic the confrontational tone but really doesn't look. the only thing keeping this slot from being 100% clear to me is csarmi's play, but i am willing to discount it to complete AIDS.

 

HalliaYates - i wish they were more obvious than they are, but Yates' harping is probably moderately villagery for him and i have a secret mechanical reason for thinking he's town which may come into import later. wish hallia had been more around this game because i read her far better :( i completely encourage tinfoils here if they are alive late-game.

  

TOTALLY ~RAND, BUT ORDERED!

 

Err - is in his "comfort" wolf range by his own admission with his lists and i'd expect him to be around more if he were a villager, but i also think the sudden increase of volume @ DM could be messing with him - it's MUCH harder to operate the way he operates as far as i've observed with this level of volume. from what i've seen he's never been lynched in his career so i hope he'd ramp up the jets and become a more obvious villager if necessary. not too comfortable with a lynch here but he's basically where he was at pre-rand afaict. GLGL

 

Sili - i'm sorry if you're an obvious villager here but i'm really just not sure and i really don't have a good feel for your wolf game cause i haven't seen it enough. there are times i want to call you a villager and a lot of people i trust this game have turned a corner on you so i'm taking you out of my immediate POE but if I had to YOLO five shots right now you'd be my fifth over Err. just do you, i guess.

 

going to start keeping up with what's going on, will dump my WILVES post-flip probably and go to sleep

Can you tell me what all of your names are on other sites - I get a bit confused.

 

 

I don´t the emo posts. I don´t know what to do with them. Is it:

 

1. Genuine feelings? If so, I don´t get what started it.

2. Some kind of game play/checking people´s reactions/setting traps etc? If so, I don´t find it to be an enjoyable gamestyle.

3. Trolling? If so, just stop.

 

I could absolutely follow Dice and Csarmi on Tommy. I´m still on Sili because he seams to play a bit cautious. I think that a Tommy lynch would give me some info about other players. 

 

I´m not sure about Manbat. Some of his posts look townie but I didn´t like that he stopped talking to me but turned to Cory to ask about me instead and then just agreed with him. I´m not sure about his oppinions about Tommy either. He seems to be on the fence about him. But as you can see, I´m on the fence about Manbat.

 

You have a nice level of paranoia. I can understand it but you have some wacky reads.

 

fwiw we don't lynch for information. that is never happening here.

Tommy's play has been almost opposite to that of corry. He has spent most time throwing mud at others for being mafia (monstr, sili, salami, pral, corymish, pral) then giving town reads on anyone. then there is a fact of multiple claim roles (mafia/roleblocker then survior). He has been all over the place..... and all that in day one... pretty exiting for me :) i thought he was towny first trying to push people into speaking more and get more information. then i thought he was mafia after the role claim. and now back to town after the 2nd claim. i think this night things could be decided between him and the sleeper guy.

 

 

hang on. So tommy claims once and that makes him mafia to you but then he claims again    and a non town role again   and now suddenly you think he's town??? WTF??

 

 

Top tier observation: Err shouldn't be on a team with someone who knows Monstr's meta well

 

well i also found manbat a little scummy along with dice... but a little lower on the list

 

Right  im getting linked into monstr things because of earlier comments. So im addressing this now.

 

im sus on manbat for these reasons  and there is definitely tinfoiling involved

 

a) so far I have never seen him roll mafia and the odds are starting to wig me out.

 

b) he keeps getting cleared by people quick and early. yes those clears have been right but im not seeing HOW he gets cleared. It seems to be entirely meta from another site. thus i dont see it. For me monstr doesn't say much. they tend to be one liner type things that dont give me enuff to work him out. the post he made on  i think  the previous page  is one of the biggest posts i can remember seeing from him and its not exactly a WoT.

 

 

So basically it boils down to me being wary of manbat because I have no way of clearing him. If those who are his quick clearers are mafia with him and i just blindly take their word for it, then im gonna get steamrolled. So he is on my to watch list. im not saying he's scummy just that im watching him.

At the risk of destroying Csarmi's opinion of my GOATmod status, you'll see I didn't mention at the outset whether or not there were safe fake claims available - I'd decided to allow character claims after I finished the setup and saw that there were 4 or 5 potential town-side characters that weren't used, but hadn't decided whether or not to list the characters available right off the bat or just say "safe fake claims available on request", and forgot to do either until Tommy asked in PM.

 

(I have a complicated history with safe fake claims, dating back to the first game I co-modded with Kaylee in which we went to a LOT of trouble to set up safe fake claims for mafia, reserving the main character of the movie for a bulletproof safe fake claim, and creating flavor names for several unnamed extras - with screenshots - as TOWN characters so that there were enough named characters from the movie to give to the mafia... who never used ANY of them.)

 

As a side note, if any of you are ever in a game I'm modding or co-modding where character claims are allowed, and safe fake claims aren't mentioned right off the bat in the mafia QT, don't hesitate to ask.  I won't allow character claims in a themed game if there aren't enough extra town-side characters to give safe fake claims if they're wanted.
