Des, let's say you have to lead a lynch today but it can't be on me or Kiv. Who do you pick?

DPR

I think he has spun a whole lot of honkey today, keeps semi-contradicting himself and being vague all game, and if scum could give some juicy info on other people in the game. If town then not as much, but I think in that scenario I'd prob be more wary of Tress again

Barring that, I'd go for Thane, but eh I kinda agree with Darthe that he'd be a better Vig target than lynch candidate

This is interesting: Why Tress if DPR is town?

Still accurate AFAIK (apart from Kiv having 2 votes).

Yeah, I thought that was a pretty slimy move by AJ too Kiv, but what's to say he wasn't just not thinking it out rather than deliberately misleading?

This is the first post of yours I find legitimately off.  I've been very direct about what I'm seeing from Wes: it's fully within both his town and scum toolbag so I have no particular reason to vote for him but am very, very wary of him.  Wes has basically said the same thing about me.

As for getting the town "comfortable" with me, I'm sorry Cass, but what game are you reading?  I've expressly told everyone not to get comfortable with anyone, especially me, because everything I'm posting now as town I would post exactly the same way as scum.  That's why I want people to read my arguments/deductions and think them through for themselves, whether they agree or disagree. When I make that play as scum, I'm doing a lot of things - mostly setting up lynches for after I'm dead - but one thing I'm not doing is getting people to disregard me as a threat.

This whole "get comfortable" theory is so way off it's the first ping I've gotten from you.

This is what I mean - I never said the Town was comfortable with you. I'd be uncomfortable with that idea too. But you state it like I think that's a fact. I don't.

What I think is a fact is that you present, to the Town, more specific reasons to be suspicious of other players than yourself and Wes. I find this strange. If you and Wes are playing exactly as you always play, and you always play exactly the same as Town or Scum. You're both a very real, specific threat.

Yes, you (both) tell us (truthfully) that both of you are dangerous. Then you follow that with 'everybody' is - also true. Using yes-yes logic, you generalise yourself into the masses.

Which differs from the way you present your arguments against the others, where you're singling them out.

That's all. Of course I may be wrong! But, to me it clearly pings.

I basically hated Tress' vote on Sili yesterday. When I called her out on it, she kinda brushed me off and said she was still wary of DPR.

And actually, I think she makes a pretty good SK candidate. If Pray is right about Yates spewing her as a non-teammate, but my reservations about her still hold water, then yeah SK is great possibility.

Plus she kinda AtE'd about us lynching her a whole back, and has been kinda slanking it (I know she said she's had rl stuff, but even so I'd expect more from her this game)

Now it's ok to think out loud? *giggles*

The fact that he didn't say "you know what, you're right, didn't think it through."

As a townie, there's no reason not to acknowledge a mistake in logic if you recognize it.  Which means either he didn't recognize it (not credible given that he couldn't articulate any rationale) or didn't want to admit it (which I get in a game where fewer people bother to look at logic and more go on tone - people will miss it or discount it), which makes a lot more sense as a scum reaction to being caught in a lie than as a town reaction to realizing you're wrong.

Wait, we hammered Leelou?!?!?!

Other than the obligatory "giggity", is this true?

Lol Verb... ew.. *g*

Bad choice of words.

Barm made an opportunistic launch at something from Lee that really looked like null. (Sup. This is generically how I speak).

While I'm pretty good with either a Kivam or Wombat (or DPR or Thane) lynch, anyone up for a Tress CFD?

Put vote where mouth is

Leelou was killed N1, Verb. Good to know you checked out the flips.

The OP shows nothing. And Barm only told me who died, not how.

Cass just said we hammered Leelou......

A lot of townies are motivated by pride these days -_-  What's the scum motivation there though?

But how did we push a mislynch on Sili? I specifically remember defending him......

Barm did.  Therefore you did.

This makes no sense. Play this out in your head.  Assume I'm town, and haven't seen anything specific from Wes to make me suspect him of being scum beyond general wariness, but have seen specific things from others that do.  How would I present my arguments?

The answer's obvious: exactly like this (because that's what's happening).  I also don't have anything on Halia, Krak, Rags, Nyn, etc. - so I'm not singling them out.  I'm singling out the people who have raised my eyebrows for one reason or another.

Again, play this out: If I singled out everyone, what use would that be?  All it would mean is everyone is equally suspicious/useful and votes ought to be random forever.  That makes no sense at all from a town perspective.

We have an hour.

I'm most happy with anyone from my top three (Wom, Kiv, DPR), and will happily take a gamble on anyone from my second tier (AJ, VerBarm, Thane, Deslarmi, Dice ... and, less happily, at Nyn).

If it ends up being one of the others then so be it, but I don't know enough on any of them to make a call.

One thing that might help - does Wom actually always do 'flurries' and harass people trying to genuinely understand?
