So I did a bunch more skimming, and I'm done with that. Only good result is that I'm not so sold on Salami anymore. Very beginning of the game was shaky imo for him, but much better afterwards. His frustration with the fonts and angleshooting recently appears to be genuine. As far back as I can remember, a seemingly genuinely frustrated Salami is a town Salami.

 

I'm also still feeling town on Clov. I want to ISO him to make sure I'm properly detaching the read from where I was at with Salami before, though. I still need to do that.

 

 

Re: scum reads, I'm a little shaky on those. I think I might go for the townhunting angle today and sheep some scum leans based on that, and pick up the game in real-time going forward. I'll try and ISO here and there, but I'm not doing a full read through of all I missed. It is almost 70 pages in 2.5 days. Nuts, yo.

Why??

Read the next sentence after the bold. I'm getting that vibe - the ISO is needed to ensure it isn't still partially tied to how I followed his explanations in the early game.

But you're speaking in vague terms and not addressing specific game events. I have no way of knowing why you think what you do or whether it's legitimate.

Des you've been paying more attention to Thane than me. Who would fit as scum with him?

 

Alanna and Wombat have the most evidence linking them to teammates of his, and they're both linked to eachother somewhat as well (again, disclaimer about how I kinda doubt scum would let themselves get tied together that easily D1). Verb could also qualify imo, seen faint connections there, and Pray as well altho that's seriously weak. Also could EASILY see AJ as a deep wolf scummate of Thane's- he's continuously advocated Thane as a train all of today but afaik has never actually voted him

I've been kinda keeping up over the last day or so, so I'm not completely out of thread flow.

 

Cliff notes: Wombat is looking more townie. Maybe he just had to shake the rust off cause he hasn't played in a few months. Don't think lynching him is optimal today as his game has picked up and I still think Hallia makes a good wagon.

 

Thane/Hallia/Clov wagons are probably decent imo

 

I have some issues with Pral's reads that I will address later. For one I don't think he's every town read me in a game when he was town, but that's kinda minor and just an amusing detail that comes to mind for me. I don't think his Wombat commentary is completely factual though and I do take issue with that. Means bad for Pral, maybe bad for Wombat.

 

Verb playing up the laziness is kinda wolfy I think. I think he understands the game enough to know as a villager that it's more or less his duty to help collect information so just saying he's going to pick his top townie and sheep is #notagoodlook

So no actual explanation for the Hallia vote, and then you say you support Thane and Clov wagons but AGAIN, don't say anything about either of those

It looks like you quote pretty much every new post by Clov and try to argue how it's scummy, even when often the post doesn't look scummy to me at all

I have agreed with pretty much every comment Tommy said about Clov's recently. I just didn't wanna be repetitive and agree every time.

What is the number of post of the Thane ISO you mentioned?

This is an absolutely HORRENDOUS reason to vote someone bro. Like not even close to a townie post from you.

 

Des your insistence or inability to not see how Clov has been wolf telling is now bordering on absurd. You can say you don't think he's the best lynch. But to say he hasn't been wolfy at all is like... what is wrong with you? What kind of signal do you need?

 

I haven't seen a SINGLE thing that made me nod my head and go "Yeah, I can see that as wolfy"

 

You and Nyn have been deadset on scum on him ever since his weak gambit with Leelou, but that whole thing didn't look NEAR as questionable to me as you made it seem. Since then Nyn hasn't really pointed out anything more recent on him that looked worth considering and everything you've said about Clov looks like confbias since it isn't at all the conclusion I would have made looking at the same post

And can you give one good reason I should think otherwise? You yourself were crazy ambiguous and vague about Clov before, you were more sponging Tom about him than saying anything concrete about him yourself, and I pointed out the stuff I saw from Wombat that looked questionable to me

Des it's everything Clov has chosen to discuss and post. Is it helping to solve the game or is it just hot air and pushing at weak ends? Read him and ask yourself "is this a useful line of questioning? Is this a useful post?"

you're totally incorrect. i made up my own mind on him. i think he's scum because he's constantly finger pointing and his posts are all fluff and antagonistic.

Just iso'd "Thane" in AJ's posts... and yeah I def think they're both scumbros now. Observe:

 

I've never seen the show. Don't really plan to imo

 

After last game I'm basically not even going to try reading Thane because I always think he's a villager.

 

Curious as to where Despot is going with it as well. Would like to see his scope expand some cause tunneling Thane could be Despot in EZ mode

 

AJ saying he can't read Thane, always reads him as villa (LAWLZ) and then soft defends Thane irt his point on me

 

Despot could you expand on Thane a bit more.

 

Asks me to expand on Thane (soft defense and could be trying to get me to make a case so he or someone else could shoot it down)

 

Tom I have been considering your comment about Despot/Thane being w/w.

I want to give Despot a soft villa lean.

Not to discredit your observation, but I think part of it comes to meta.

Despot generally speaks in absolutes (hence confident) and Thane may have genuinely been non-threatened because it was like page ~5 of the game and didn't see Despot as a legitimate threat at that point because he was the only vote on Thane's slot.

Doesn't clear either, but I'm trying to consider from all angles here.

This actually isn't as strong evidence supporting the two as it looks- Tommy had just asked about Thane's activity on the weekends or something

 

However even tho Thane mentioned ITT he'd be gone, obviously scumbros are going to be more conscious of eachother being gone

 

I'm missing Thane/SP from that list.

I'll leave Thane as null because I'm incapable of reading him correctly 80% of the time, and SP literally needs to be replaced/mod killed

And for those who are wondering why I am suspect on Wombat - the best I can explain is that it's a gut feeling.

 

I typically associate Wombat with a lot of bravado as a villager and I'm not getting that vibe this game. I think THAT is probably the biggest tell. Wombat not being an obvious villager is probably a bad thing imo

 

I doubt I could pull a singular post of his and explain in depth why it's scummy or whatever, it's just the general vibe I get when reading over him. I thought his first few angles were consensus-y irt Thane/Sili after the game started. I do think his progression has gotten better but I have some reservations because Csarmi IS making himself look pretty bad on his own so voting him right now makes 'sense' so to speak.

 

Chainsaw defends Thane here by saying Wombat's reads were consensusy irt Thane- even tho that's not really true imo. Had he made the same point about Wombat as he did about me earlier (about me potentially going for LHF) it would have made sense, but not in this way imo

And I was mistaken, looking over AJ's posts it was HALLIA that AJ kept mentioning as a potential wagon that he never talked about much or voted on. Considering his dog poop justification for voting her just a bit ago, and yeahhhhhhh AJ looks wolfy as hell to me now

 

As for his connection to Thane, the soft defense and "I can't read him" stuff def looks like a more experienced wolfeh trying to cover for a scumbro that looks wolfy a lot all the time
