Darthe doesn't know what scum Ithi will do because Ithi has only been Mafia twice in the past 2 years. Once in a game where I knew there were two mafia teams and once where I started off as Town all the way till the middle of a very long day 1. Both times I was actively looking for the Mafia.

I thought it was one of the best parts of that reads post. Insightful comment that isn't smearing -- and it made me think you could be scum after all despite some of the townish vibes I had from your posting.

I thought you had asked this question to the entire thread prior to Darthe making this statement. I can't find the post so it is possible I didn't remember what you said correctly.

No; I did have a reaction to that Darthe post, which was a lightbulb "aha, so he's good at faking tone as scum, so maybe he is scum and just has good tone" moment.

 

This is good and idk why I haven't mentioned it yet.  Tommy trusts me and thus trusts my review of someones' meta which makes sense to do regardless since scum aren't likely to fake those sorts of reads.  This has been one of the things thus far in the game that points to a town Tommy.  It's really subtle and long term to manage as mafia, especially how inconsequential it mostly is.  Solid narrative here.

 

Tommy, as I said early on in the game I would rather read Ithi than Turin.  He is far less transparent as scum.  She will become aggravated easily as either alignment but her little distinctions and attempts to direct each post here are telling.  I have her (and by proxy Turin) at 60% scum right now.  To get more I need a better grasp of this thread tbh.  I lost WIM for the website over the weekend due to... events.

Last time I recall you being mafia I pegged you D2 and took til like D5 or 6 to get everyone else to follow me.  You just couldn't resist trying to steer the thread each day, that was your tell.  Here you've been too quiet to see much of that yet but I suspect it'll come out if you are indeed maf.

It's a statement of exasperation. I expect a certain level of play/knowledge from experienced players. When someone claims not to know something I think should be obvious, it reads as disingenuous. So, yeah, I guess it is leading. Oh well. That's how I feel.

Pretty simple; it reads "you're acting too dumb to be town" without explicitly stating "you're scummy for this." The phrasing is manipulative. It's bait to catch someone else who will say "yeah, that's right, he SHOULD know better!"

He's trying to validate his made up Meta on me without having to actually provide evidence. He has this list of things that I do when I'm Mafia and when I'm Town and when asked to provide evidence of that he says - ah well, at some point because statistically she had to have been. If he saw me do these alleged tells that he should know what game it was.

 

But again I say - I was Mafia in the WW2 game then and was still able to actively look for the other team, so my actions there were still looking for mafia, and in the previous game I was Town for the majority of a very long day 1.
