you said you are middle of the road, didn't you?  I'm like .0001% I, that's all I meant .

I'll let it go this time....  ;-)

I'll make it up to you .

I think most Internet forum people, especially fantasy book types, are Is. Cause mostly the Es are outside hanging out with the meatspace humans.

Alright, we're going out. Ready for your first EDM rave?

Close! Cortland is actually on the other side of Ithaca from my hometown. It's Watkins Glen. If you go to Ithaca, you've probably heard of it! Do you go for your job, or family?

It's fairly different, though where I am (Amarillo) has a small town feel to it for being a city of 200,000 so I like that. I've learned to hold my tongue when it comes to politics and religion , but the people are mostly lovely.

I miss trees, though, and rain. Up here in the panhandle where I am, it's semi-desert so we have yellow grass and too few trees.

I like both .

Speaking of! Next time I come home, we (you and Basel and me) and Mills should all do a meet up! We'll probably be flying into Buffalo airport :).

I'm still INFP

I miss trees too. Here in Yorkshire it's all fields and farmland. I'm from Nottinghamshire and we had forests and stuff.

According to Myers-Briggs, INFPs focus much of their energy on an inner world dominated by intense feeling and deeply held ethics. They seek an external life that is in keeping with these values. Loyal to the people and causes important to them, INFPs can quickly spot opportunities to implement their ideals. They are curious to understand those around them, and so are accepting and flexible except when their values are threatened.

According to Keirsey, based on observations of behavior, notable INFPs may include Princess Diana, George Orwell, Aldous Huxley, Audrey Hepburn, Richard Gere, Albert Schweitzer and Isabel Myers.

The polite, reserved exterior of INFPs can at first make them difficult to get to know. They enjoy conversation, however, taking particular delight in the unusual. When INFPs are in a sociable mood, their humor and charm shine through. Disposed to like people and to avoid conflict, INFPs tend to make pleasant company.

Devoted to those in their inner circle, INFPs guard the emotional well-being of others, consoling those in distress. Guided by their desire for harmony, INFPs prefer to be flexible unless their ethics are violated. Then, they become passionate advocates for their beliefs. They are often able to sway the opinions of others through tact, diplomacy, and an ability to see varying sides of an issue.

INFPs develop these insights through reflection, and they require substantial time alone to ponder and process new information. While they can be quite patient with complex material, they are generally bored by routine. Though not always organized, INFPs are meticulous about things they value. Perfectionists, they may have trouble completing a task because it cannot meet their high standards. They may even go back to a completed project after the deadline so they can improve it.

INFPs are creative types and often have a gift for language. As introverts, they may prefer to express themselves through writing. Their dominant Feeling drives their desire to communicate, while their auxiliary intuition supplies the imagination. Having a talent for symbolism, they enjoy metaphors and similes. They continually seek new ideas and adapt well to change. They prefer working in an environment that values these gifts and allows them to make a positive difference in the world, according to their personal beliefs.

Yeah Watkins Glen looks cute when I pass through it. I went to Cornell so I have friends in Ithaca. I would miss lush trees too much to move to an arid climate. I don't like the flora in Florida for that reason, too many tendrils. Do a lot of Texans still have 'truck balls' on their hitch? These are the questions that keep me up at night.

I ventured into the meatspace long enough to hook up with my husband. Not ever going out again. There was so much eye contact *shudder*

You dislike humans that much? I think eye contact can be amusing. The varied reactions of people on the street or on the subway are always interesting. Some visibly uncomfortable people, some wistful glances, some people which make me feel genuinely afraid. Life is strange.

Cute is a great word for it. It's so small, that I could never live there again now that I left, but I love to visit. It's a tourist town, so it's booming in the summer and dead in the winter.

Oh awesome! I love Cornell's campus. I had a few friends that went there out of high school, and even more that went there for graduate degrees after doing their undergrad elsewhere.

Indeed, I very much miss the scenery from home. Husband is just lucky I like him so much heh. We have discussed moving though. He's Texan to the bone, but the market here for his job isn't very good, so we've discussed several places - all with more green than here (Seattle, Dallas, DC are the top contenders).

I actually have never seen a set of those around here. That might be more prominent in the rural areas. Or in Oklahoma.

Well, you'll have sometime to prepare. It probably won't be until Dec 2015 heh.

I grew up in Williamsburg. The humans are dangerous in mass quantities.

I can manage normal seeming interaction if I leave most of my mind at home and saturate the rest with ETOH.
