This post doesn't make sense.  I was suspicious because if he gave his actual role claim today or tomorrow, you could ignore it, say he was claiming too many times, and no one would believe him.

This seems tempting but think about it first.  For a role cop/cop investigation, we are giving up a lynch (town's only chance to kill mafia).  Do this too much and mafia will start gaining a lead through kills that town can't surpass.  This role should only be used when necessary.  Unlike now!

Mynd's smart and he knows people would want to do this.  When non-thinking town goes "Oh hey! Unlimited shots lets use it!", mafia will continue to kill more and more people, and even though we might catch one or two mafia this way, maf will kill cleared townies, and eventually gain advantage as the only reliable mostly town controlled kill method is lost.
 

 

My hammer ability isn't really that great.
It's kind of unpredictable.

 

Can everyone stop doing this?  Just because one person shows his hammer doesn't mean you have to pull out your own hammer and compare sizes.  You're giving mafia more and more information, and as more people reveal their roles just so they can gain the self-satisfaction of using their power, mafia's chuckling as they plan out their next move.

And for all of the stuff going on right now, everyone just stop this.  At this point mafia will try to get hammer because they don't want any town to be able to use their power, and guess what, they'll claim their own hammer power that everyone will like and use that to their advantage.  All you idiots have pretty much nulled the usefullness of many of the hammer, if not all, of the hammer roles.

Darthe is pretty much clear, Marvel has been in a bunch of scenes by now.  I was wrong about his character claim though, I thought he was Rhodes (since he's a BG for Iron Man).

Nolder when people make semi-verifiable and intimately tying claims like I am by offering to cop hammer Darthe you don't immediately go "wow maybe he's pulling the long con!" you go "okay, this will get resolved by night actions somehow or we will get really suspicious in 3-5 days."

It probably would be, but I very very very rarely make it far that as town. This is a large game. Odds of me making it to must lynch are 0.1%.

See your point, but you can also wait for a CC situation. But more importantly, now that Darthe has almost cleared himself with the claim of a character who has been in multiple Mynd scenes, is it worth missing the first lynch in which we get tons of information to clear someone who most people think is now town?

tommy did all that and up til all this hammer time stuff we had no way of knowing he was telling the truth. the character he settled on is one id expect to be 3rd party at best. you cant tell at this point  even if someone said they were his mason buddy that they are not scum pulling a gambit.  You would tend to believe it once that second claim comes but you dont KNOW it.  Hence my push.

Darthe is a BG (Captain Marvel) and quoted his PM for proof.
 
Tommy has revealed himself as QuickSilver from the Wonder Twins and that if he hammers on a lynch that person won't die and instead he'll receive their role PM.
 
Arsis is apparently Thor.
 
Tsuki has some weird ass ability where if he votes someone and they immediately vote him back in their next post he finds out their alignment. None of these make sense as scum roles, so essentially these 4 are all lock town.

 

I don't think tsuki is cleared at all. If he was scum, he could just say everyone comes out non-scum.

First: The whole thing with Arsis' and Tommy's power involves "an abusable trigger" (I need to hammer, no let me - sounds like stacking the deck, don't it). That argument is not going to fly. Think about this: How often does someone pull an OMGUS in THEIR VERY NEXT POST AFTER BEING VOTED?? Almost never - Arsis had the trigger in black and white, and STILL messed it up. I figured out a way to use it, and Mynd applauded me for it:
