I'm gonna have Darthe read Dawn for me and then I'll stick with the opposite interpretation

Because he said I was lock town in the last game and I ended up being scum?

I like where this pre-game is going.

Hey, Rand - OP never mentioned a time limit. My question still stands - Why does TG think we have a few RL days?? Day one could start in 5 minutes...

Except I would expect it to have to have everyone check in and be at Mynds discretion. I also assumed we had awhile until D1 started.

or you know just read the two times Mynd posted it on thread that he was thinking about setting the deadline around monday.

I think the len/rand/tg hydra are town based on nothing but the happiness theyve brought to my... heart.

why the frak did i quote this?

We have role PM's.  Logic says you may be able and wade through this crap for alignment indicative tidbits.

I don't want to though... I kinda just wanna coast until I'm NK'd... that okay?

This Lenlo schtick is going to get confusing.

Oh is that a Tommy original?

Article 13 part C in section three of the Constitution of Tom states that any benefactor to his person must first state intent to become a patron before interaction with said party.  Please file in accordance with this article and keep in mind that said article must be filed in addendum with publicly proclaimed intentions to pursue such an action.

Mr. Darthe sir, you forgot to tell him to file it in triplicate

That's incorrect.  According to the US constitution (the rights of which are in play since the client resides in the U.S.) clients are afforded privlege to the rights of privacy and protection from admissions of any form of guilt until rights are stripped from them in accordance with information that warrants a verdict.  Since we have no measure of innocence or guilt the client still falls under such umbrella clauses.

That and I think following the opposite of his reads is probably always a good policy.

I gotta admit, this was pretty dang funny. Weird that Darthe seems to fit so well in to the role roflmao

A bit suggestive (maybe more than a bit. :P) so just in case I'll put it in spoilers, but this is definitely PG-13. And great. You should open it.

@Red

Nothing suggestive about that. It's just plain old fitness.

Okay actual game thoughts-

AJ and Tsuki are both my strongest town leans so far. Both seemed to actually be interested in scumhunting early on, while they could have just as easily sat in the background or spammed during Dawn like others. Tsuki tends to be fairly paranoid early on as town. AJ could easily fake the scumhunting angle, but I can usually read him fairly well anyways. Gimme a few more posts of his, or a real good wot, and I'll have a lock read on him.

Krak gets the slightest of town leans for seeming to MAYBE be interested in scumhunting, enough to complain about the spam at least. We'll see if he's interested enough in the game to post enough to put that slight town lean to the test.

TG seems to be feigning casualness a bit, like he's trying to overdo the spammin blah mentality. I'm also more used to him coming out of the gate firing with gameplay, while also spamming alongside it.

Tommy is mailing it in so far, also unusual for him.

Everyone else - MEH. Watchin the Lenlo sheeple crowd tho, good chance at least one scum is trying to hide among the buffoonery there (also feel fairly confident I can read most in that group fairly well as the game goes along).

Is it bad that ive started to mistake TG's comments for my own?

Tend to agree with this tho. Nothing about that post from Tommy looks anywhere close to making him locktown whatsoever, if anything my first reaction would be the opposite.

Compile this with Red's general tendency to fos EVERYONE when town yet hand out town "reads" like candy when scum and I think we gotta nice little PING here folks!

On a sidenote, just wanna say  to the TMI slip and how handy it has been lately.

A gentle breeze danced through Central Park, across the green grass and over yesterday's Wall Street Journal that a waking homeless woman had been using as her blanket to complete her park bench bedroom set.  The birds were already chirping in anticipation of the rising light in the east that would soon be cracking across the horizon.  The woman rubbed her eyes, scratched herself in a few unmentionable places, then hawked a nice glob of green and black between her four remaining teeth and onto the pavement.  She reached down and pulled up a half empty whiskey bottle and held it up squinting.

"Aww, dammit," she croaked, "now, was dis my new hooch or my toilet from last night?"  She shrugged, then took a sip.

Suddenly, a loud screech startled the woman, and the glass bottle shattered at her feet.  A bright red fireball burst through the oak tree to her right and buried itself into the ground not more than a few yards from her.  "Lawdy, its a FYYYYRE!!!" she screamed, "Ain't nobody got time fer dat!"  She waddled her way down the cement walkway towards the street, not stopping to see the glowing red orb slowly fade.   She also did not see the sticky, black tar ooze its way out of the crater and begin to slowly creep across the sidewalk.

Tony Stark scratched the stubble beneath his chin.  He hadn't hit a wall like this before in a long while, but this new AI Governor chip was frustrating him in a way he hadn't felt since the battle in New York more than three years ago.  He knew he was playing with fire by trying to incorporate alien technology into the new Ultrabot AI drivers, but it should work in theory.   Why wasn't it working now?

"Cause its a piece of CRAP," shouted Tony, tossing the hung of metal across the room.

The soothing sound of a digitized British accent responded, "Shall I restart the 3D printer again, sir?"

Ignoring JARVIS, Tony jumped up from his chair and then rubbed his face.  He looked down at his watch.  My GOD, he thought, how long have I been down here?  Tony began to pace back and forth, speaking out loud "I don't get it.  I just don't get it.  How could such a relatively primative alien race have technology that advanced, and yet it becomes as useless as a 9 volt battery in a Maserati when trying to apply basic laws of physics."

He had the entire floor of R&D to himself.  He had sent everyone home for the weekend while he tinkered with the "souvenirs" he had collected from the Battle in New York.  He had little problem reverse engineering the artifacts; however, it seemed like just when he was about to have a break through in the actual application, the whole thing shuts down.

"Sir," chimed JARVIS, "Colonel Rhodes is here to..."

"I'm not here," barked Tony, "tell him, I'm on vacation.  I'm at the beach."

The door behind him whooshed open.  "Tony Stark doesn't take vacations," smirked the dark skinned muscular man who walked in, "and this doesn't look like any sandy beach I'd like to be."

"It's all in the mynd, of course," grumbled Tony, "oh, and yeah...thanks for knocking by the way.  Just make yourself at home."  Tony leaned over a large black box with a clear glass window on one side.  A few buttons lit up as he hovered his hand over them, then suddenly a liquid goo began to spray within the box, forming what appeared to be some kind of Alien circuit board.

Rhodes picked up a hung of metal from the floor.  His eyebrows raised as he studied it, before laying it gently on the table next to him.  Folding his arms across his chest, he continued, "Tony, we gotta talk."

"If this is about that Senator guy, what's his name?" Tony blurted, "Senator Prickface?"

"Senator Stern," sighed Rhodes, "yeah well you won't have to worry about that guy.  Ever since he got flagged as a Hydra sympathizer, there is no way anyone will take him seriously."  Rhodes shook his head.  "Its about the Ultron project."

"I told you yesterday," grumbled Tony, still focused on the forming circuit board, "I'm close I just need a bit more time."

"Tony, I'm not worried about that at all," Rhodes stood up and walked closer to Tony, "Its about the Mark 1 that you had me dispose of. It's gone!"

"Yeah," replied Tony, "I'd love to know what you melted it down into.  A Refrigerator?  Spinning rims?  A line of sterling silver sex toys?"

"No, Tony," interrupted Rhodes, "It's gone.  It never got melted down.  We shipped the parts to Lanthirrhos Ordinance Base yesterday.  This morning, a photon bomb with the same energy signature as those freaks from three years ago went off.  Destroyed the entire base!"  Tony's eyes widened and his face turned pale.  Rhodes now had his full attention. " About 85 men and women instantly vaporized!  And the Ultron prototype is gone.  Nothing left.  Col. Talbot wants to pin the whole thing on you, label you a terrorist.  General Ross stopped him and gave the investigation to me."

Tony knew what Rhodes was going to say.  Like Frankenstein couldn't kill his monster, Tony couldn't destroy his creation.  "It was the Ultron Mark 1.  It did this.  Its alive!"

It is still Dawn 0, which will end Sunday evening at 8pm Eastern Standard Time.  Continue to ask any questions about your role, the game setup, or anything else you would like to know.

General take on things:

I disagree on Tsuki.

I liked Krak's comment earlier too.

Also agree with the Lenlo-clan buddying angle, that crossed my mind as well for something to watch later. I was thinking perhaps it was part of the #hashtag thing but not everyone who has done it has changed their avi's.

I can say this right now, for me atleast there is no hashtag thing pushing this. Its just amusing.
