I want to reread Vos.

I feel like he's been mentioned a lot but I can't remember who has pushed him/who he has pushed all that well.

Despot is probably scum though, or just level 9,000 paranoid. X piggybacking the theory doesn't really strike me as a scum/scum push though - much too blatant.

I mean I guess it is Des. Yeah, you have a fair point about how X twisted that scenario Des posed in his favor.

He can be cop peeked or something.

Vos has been less aggressive and more confused than I would expect.

Actually - Des and X could still be scum, just not sided together.

Probably getting ahead of myself here - but it's something to look at in the future. If we get some varying scum flips from the Darthe wagn we could probably easily go back and start to piece together different groups.

I basically cameback on to say all of this:

Tress how useful is your lynch lead ability? From 1 to 5, 5 being like, a cop viewing or a kill.

I know NotBob has one and it's like a 3/5 so if you can beat that you should start a train on Dawn and if not, he should.

AJ, unvote for now if you don't have a super badass lynch-leading ability.

So thanks for saving me some time. Also, I need to point out that as a condition of receiving this information I'm not allowed to vote for Dawn. So I'm not being a hypocrite when I don't vote her. It isn't clear if mechanically I can't vote for her today [ie. my vote just won't count] or if something really bad happens if I try to. Plus, you are lynching her based partially [or mostly?] on my information so I'm still assuming responsibility [credit] for her lynch.

Question: do either of your vote analysis abilities work on any wagon? Or does it have to be on a successful wagon? If it's the former, we can plan around that and use it to our advantage.

Posted

I've been mulling over this quite a bit the past few days, but I seriously doubt that the 4 on Darthe's wagon are all on the same team.

Do you think this is pertinent to our lynch or are you just thinking out loud?
Posted

For myself, mine works only if I'm on the successful lynch.  If I am, I get to find out how many heroes are aboard with me.

Mynd cleared this up after the D1 lynch. The lynch has to be successful for those with lynch/wagon abilities to become active.

I find Key, X and TG suspect and am willing to lynch any/all of them.

What about Hoof? I remember you thinking he looked bad earlier.

A little of both. Getting Dawn's alignment will be important to start piecing together how many/what kind of anti-Town elements there are out there. I'm theorizing a bit when I say that I doubt 4 members of the same team were all on the wagon.

Yates got a guilty on her apparently. Or Red did, but Yates is subbing for her now.

Something like that. I received two pieces of information last night. One contained Dawn's alignment and the other contained her character name. I would have a healthy amount of doubt if I received 1 piece of info from an unnamed source. Two pieces from, what I gather is, two different sources? Yeah.

She's a venom symbiote. I don't know how that will make anything overly clear but it gives us more time to talk things out, I guess.

I assume her character was Venom then?

He'd certainly be a bad guy.

Any symbiote sans anti-venom and one obscure one would be a bad guy. There are multiple. Carnage and venom being the most popular.

Posted

Yeah, I'm reading up on the Symbiote race now on the Marvel Wiki.

Which includes Venom, Carnage, Hybrid & Toxin.

I ask Venom specifically because it appears they are each different from my understanding.

Posted

Yep. I know "Venom" has been more than one person, though. So I guess it's possible there is a team with everyone just called venom. I'm not too worried about that for the time being, though. I'm happy just to nail anti-Town.

I don't remember BH atm tbh.  I am pretty sleepy.  However, I do remember that I fibbed a bit to save my life last night.

I need to be the first person on a train to activate my second ability, that's what I switched in my role PM.  Thus, if we are taking out Dawn I need you all to unvote so that I make it to the first slot.  I would also consider any pile on until I am first to be essentially a scum claim.

Oh, and my ability comes before other things in the game meaning that so long as I can keep being first each day I can keep hally around forever since I am invincible at night and confirmed in the day and she can keep confirming two townies a day.  The rest of you are essentially redundant at this point.

Carnage! Thank you. That's the one I was trying to think of when I looked it up on wiki. He was red, right? So maybe it's just Venom and Carnage on a team?

Possibly. They are father/son technically. But they do legit hate each other in most of the comics.

"The Widow is DEAD," laughed Quentin Beck through his translucent dome, "too much red in her ledger, I suppose! HAHAHAHAHA!"  A cloud of mist hovered around Beck, projecting the image of Romanova's body exploding over and over and over.

"We all die from something," growled the brooding man in the corner, "better her than me."

"Awww," joked Beck, "look at the grumpy soldier in the corner.  What's the matter, Cyber Grunge?  Somebody break your vinyl Pearl Jam album?"

"Keep mocking me, chrome dome," growled the brooding man, "I'll splatter those scrambled noodles all over this place."

"Gentlemen," interrupted a human-like figure wearing a red cowl and cape, "we are fighting each other and not the enemy.  There are more than just Heroes out there.  Word has it that the God of Blunder's brother is causing mischief as well."

"Indeed," grumbled the brooding man, "I thought I saw him playing tricks on the SHIELD lemmings earlier today."

"Ultron must not be stopped," hissed the crimson caped humanoid, with his red eyes glowing, "at all costs! "

Meanwhile, deep within the New York City underground, a hooded figure looms over a large computer console, eyes madly watching the screen.   "Where are those freaks?  I can't believe they got away from me!"  The monkey on his shoulder eek'd in agreement.

Three large men in red spandex uniforms burst into the room.   "Hail Hydra!"

"Yeah yeah yeah," growled the hooded man, "and Hail Ultron and all that, but we must find those twins at all costs.  They were last seen with this man."  The hooded man pulled up the image of Paul Rudd on the large projection screen.  "Look at this guy, who does he think he is? Mister I'm so special with my stupid hair and chin.  I hear he reeks of booze and condescension."

"Sir," shouted one of the men, "shall we fire the Death Ray of Death and Doom on him?"

"Nine!" shouted the hooded man, "it might backfire...again."

"But sir," interrupted one of the men, "60% of the time, it works every time!"  The hooded man stared blankly at the protesting henchman.

Then, he shouted, "  Vorhaut! Biss Sie ihm in die Eier!"  The monkey shrieked and then attacked the henchman in a very inappropriate area.

It is STILL Day 2 in Avengers 2 - Age of Ultron Mafia, which will end Thursday at 12:00pm Eastern Standard Time, or when a majority lynch has been reached and I am available to end the phase early.   This is a hammer game so once a majority has been reached, no further votes or unvotes will be counted.  Failure to reach the majority by the deadline will result in a random player being lynched.  With 23 players remaining in the game, it will take 12 votes to reach a majority lynch.  Remember, only a successful lynch will activate certain powers and abilities, so check your PM'd Role for details.

Good luck!

Mynd, you scared me for a second. I was thinking to myself that's a crazy power to just end day that way.

Vote the scumVote Xthrax

Do you have any reasons for this or just out of the blue

reasons seem a tad weak, got anything stronger?

You're basically a dead man walking as far as I'm concerned.

[v]Xthrax[/v]

still a tad random.

^^^ Not sure what happened to the quotes there...

I was quoting Darthe. My part was this:

I'm obviously starting my reading with the night phase. I'm assuming Hally has a vetted Town role that allows her to know how many scum are on a wagon?

If so, this is a great place to start. If not, let me know.

This should be correct. Tina corroborated the claim and as you can see she just died town and had a role of "hero tracker" so I believe Hallia is reasonably clear.

I've got a list of the players who are NOT clear out of those on the Darthe train:

Dawn

Hoof

Lenlo

Key

Xthrax

TG

AJ

4 out of these 7 players are scum.

That's HUGE info, borderline game-busting stuff.*** ATTENTION ***

I HAVE BEEN COERCED BY SOME FORCE TO VOTE FOR DARTHE. I MUST VOTE FOR DARTHE TODAY AND CANNOT UNVOTE DARTHE. THEREFORE I AM NOW VOTING DARTHE. I NOT ACTUALLY INTEND TO LYNCH DARTHE. I CONFIRMED HIM TOWN ALREADY.

[V]Darthe[/V]*** THANKS FOR READING ***

that's an effective way to neuter your power.

No. It was a sarcastic comment on Nolder.

Again, you people are failing to see. Why I was focusing on Nolder.

It was in no way related to Des's post. It was on Nolder's casr. On asking him a few questions, he immediately exploded deflecting my questions and calling me a liar. It's fine if he calls me a direct way.

In a not so subtle way, he complained to Tina that we were calling her a liar.

I didn't begin with thinking he was scum. I decided to ask him questions but he reacted very badly.

Si I find him scummy and [v]Nolder[/v]

voting an apparently confirmed townie is a bad idea. A very strange thing to do.

Arsis: I can confirm with 100% certainty that Nolder successfully used his night ability last night. I've seen his role PM and I know what he did.

Either you were blocked, redirected, or something got messed up.

this has since been resolved, but yeah my first thought was block or redirect.

well, with a guilty on dawn there is no reason not to vote her. [v]Dawn[/v]

seems as though my suspicions of red were misplaced.

on another note, i am a tad worried about the powers mafia might have, given the power of all these town roles.

Hurray daybreak!

I'm gonna be traveling back today and tommorow so I won't have alot of time (or internet access).

If yates for some reason got a PM saying Dawn is scum then this will be quick. I'm gonna hold off my vote so Darthe can be first on the train.
