I've never seen GF as scum but I have played with him ~3 games as Town and like I mentioned earlier, I don't remember him ever sounding this clear.

Yeah. Methinks of a possible coaching from the QT.

FTR I would actually like to respond to some of BFG's points Yates.

I think she raised a good one with the unvote post that I have also eyeballed sideways.

Did you leave a word off here?

We three are agreed then!

Which of course means we are probably wrong but #YOLO

Yeah, I have my reservations but that's sort of the fun of it.

The stress of the unknown factor until that flip scene is finally up.

We can't tinfoil everywhere. He's a consensus negative read for about 1/2 the game right now so what more is there really to do but see the flip and move forward?

Alright. I've got time. I'll play.

Why would you feel the need to justify unvoting a joke vote?

Why now when you've been saying TG/AJ was likely town/town for a while?

The reason we call them RVS votes is because the R stands for random. You randomly pick someone to vote for and it doesn't really matter the reason if there is one at all. So it really has nothing to do with jokes as jokes imply humor.

As to why I unvoted? TBH, I had actually forgotten my vote was even on TG. And, as I said in the post, it's only because I hadn't voted for someone else sooner. I typically like to have my vote somewhere serving a purpose. Even if it's just to say "I've got my eye on you, bub."

Wow, I don't know how well you think I'm playing, but that's a new one to be voted for. I do think that in my close to fifteen years at DM I've made a few coherent posts now and again.

It is in an interesting subject, though, and I'm willing to delve into it. First off, I'm surprised if the play is deemed better, if its not a myth, but I would deem that more to less beers and no cigarettes than anything else. And not having that hassle last time of computer malfunction in the middle of it. Add to that translating poetry, which really does not put one in the state of mind of writing fully coherent phrases(the onus is for the reader to interpret with time, since the accuracy of translation (meaning, implication, tone) supersedes grammar), and some role that might dictate one should play in a less than clear way, I probably wasn't trying to be too clear in the last games. All in all, as Cadsuane would put it, I was just making a dog's dinner out of the previous games, in my opinion, thus no wonder it's been a while.

Well, here there are no such roles, so talk is clear also in that regard, but there are times to observe and if one has something to say, then perhaps say.  The coaching argument however is truly absurd.

What I don't like about this post is that it is unnecessarily verbose for no reason. I could say the same exact thing in three sentences.

I don't think it's an absurd discussion to have.  It might be wrong, but when somebody makes a very sudden change, it's usually attributed to something - and when somebody is scum (especially for the first time), it's not uncommon for them to get some tips from their teammates.  Doesn't mean it's the case here but we can't rule it out, either.

GF - You've been playing for 15 years or so, yes? What would you think of someone that you had seen as Town in a bunch of games suddenly completely change their playing style in one game? I mean, I agree that it isn't a great argument but there really isn't much to go on Day 1 other than gut and speculation.

Really? I just don't like your excuse for not posting. I suppose it is possible that you truly believe the thread needed to sort itself out. But I [obviously] am one of those people that will watch for a few posts - to make sure I don't interrupt a trap or something - then drop my opinion. If you don't post your opinions, no one knows what you are thinking. If no one knows what you are thinking, how are we supposed to read your slot? So to my mind, silence is scummy - or at least not pro Town.

There's also the fact that you came in only after I mentioned you as a possible lynch candidate. I really just said that to see if you were paying attention to the thread. I guess you were.

Yea, you're right. Absurd from my point of view, but, well, objectivity is already fundamentally impossible,
