EVERYBODY - What do you think the likeliness of lynching mafia today is?  Randomly drawing a name out of a hat gives a 33% chance (I am not advocating for this method, I'm using it as a baseline for comparison).  Given the way the day has unfolded, how likely do you all think a successful lynch is, right now?

I think we have a good chance. Rule out the obv Town and roll from there.

 

The people I would not lynch are:

That leaves at least 2 scum in BFG, GF, Lenlo Hally

 

Plus, forcing people to choose a wagon gives us wagon analysis for tomorrow regardless of the flip.

 

 

I disagree.  You're putting people who haven't spoken much.  I would much more imagine scum is very vocal this game, especially the two who are like GFs

my problem is that a good scum use for Arsis would be to send him out to distract and sow chaos. hes very good at that.

im gonna  vote arsis  rather then BFG because BFG hasnt been here. However my thinking is that its a one day grace. If BFG isnt here D2 and making me think town then my vote goes there tomorrow

I think it's fairly likely. There seems be a good consensus among those that look town to me. I wouldn't lynch from Yates, Clov, AJ, TG, or des. Not super fond of an Arsis lynch, because as I said earlier, I mostly think he's town.

 

Dice not tunneling on anyone looks good from him, imo, but he's firmly in the middle for me.

 

Willing to lynch, in order: Len, Hally, GF, BFG.

you seem to have spent a lot of time saying "i wish he'd give reasons" or null. I dont quite get how you end p viewing him as town tbh. reading that id have thought youd be null at best

Key, I'm liking you for town, as I am AJ as of right now.   Not sure on Des.  I swing back and forth forever on him.  Suspicious of Yates and Arsis right now, and oddly GF.

Need more from Hally and BFG or they can swing, imo.

Why should I be replaced? I did not post yesterday for the reason that it might interrupt the flow of discussion. I wanted to see where that was heading, much more important than a single person voicing their views.

 

 

 

 

So what are your conclusions then?

Well, there's a lot of it as always, but I just got the feeling that aside from AJ and clov, key and yates seem townish to me (it's potentially embarrassing giving these tellings, cause one ends up being wrong sometimes, but I suppose one has to learn to ignore that.

 

I've been wary of des ever since a potential buddying attempt at the beginning, the discussion enforced my thoughts that he might be mafia too, aside from lenlo. I don't know about arsis, clearly he's having fun but also doing what he's doing intentionally. I remember once as mafia trying the ploy of doing so, didn't work for me but he might be better at it, and he could be town but finding the game a little overwhelming (a lot of words).

 

Not sure what I think aside from that.

 

It is weird to see GF make this much sense.  I know it's a language barrier and all, but it's weird to see him go from games where he doesn't make much sense at all to suddenly conveying convincing points.  Methinks of a possible coaching from the QT

I went back and grabbed your vote. It didn't sound like a RVS, and even in this post you're saying it wasn't a joke vote.

 

So why are you voting somebody for a post when you agree with their line of questioning? It's the apparent contradiction I don't understand.

You are trying to put two things together that are completely separate.

 

FIRST - I voted for TG in post 98. I entered the game about 10 minutes prior in post 97. It was an RVS vote placed as I was reading the thread with the added commentary about how I noticed him saying he needed to read the rules and voting in the same post. It looked weird so I commented on it. Doesn't really matter what I said there, frankly, it was an RVS vote "with justification" [for whatever that justification is worth]. Unless you truly believe voting THEN checking the rules is an actual thing scum do on the regular??

 

Also, he still never said anything about that did he?

 

SECOND - I never got to the whole argument until AFTER my vote. Therefore, my vote had nothing to do with his rationale or defense therein. Frankly, as I stated earlier, I hadn't notcied anything off about AJ's post and I had no problem with TG's line of questioning - even if I didn't think there was anything there.

 

Not sure how you see a contradiction there.

Nobody think you're a piece of human garbage.  The issue is this, when you self-vote like you did it's basically a pity-play that appeals to our emotions.  In mafia it is very difficult to discern real emotion from fake, but scum tend to be more sensitive to getting lynched and respond emotionally whereas town tend to want to fight it harder for the good of the team.

See above for 'joke vote' and as I recall I said I thought Clov was town, and I was leaning town on TG/AJ with reservations, so hardly half the game or without explanation. BS narrative (exaggeration to try and make me look bad) or confused?

 

Tbf I didn't explain my read on Clov, thought he was town because in the games we've played when he was mafia he was much quieter Day 1, I don't recall him leading pushes so the case on Arsis looked good, it also coincided with my read which is better than not. I also don't recall the commentator posts that I've seen from him as mafia.

 

 

TG gets some townie points for starting the game with his vote on AJ, will be interested to see where he goes with it, and I want to understand his definition of tone reading, but slight town read.

 

AJs reaction seems town at the moment, a little concerned that he's not commenting on other stuff at the moment.

 

Clov looks good to me at the moment

 

Lenlo also seems quite self focused at the moment

 

Arsis looks bad for his 'pressure' vote on AJ followed by the quick retreat.

 

Don't feel very strongly about this post in general. It reads more like basic commentary on the thread events more so than actual analysis, but meh. My read here will develop as the game progresses.

Why should I be replaced?

For some reason I thought you only had the one post. I didn't remember anything else and you never came up in any ISO's. Also, I didn't know how to spell your name so I couldn't find your post when I went searching for it real fast. The fact you actually had 4 posts and I only remembered 1 is a bad sign. That's how much impact your slot is having on our game right now.
