Ok we just essentially saw scum scramble imo.

I didnt view DT. I was roleblocked. I think Notbob is almost certain scum based on his reactions today and am interested in examining the above two who are the next two on my list in order.

Mynd/Rand effectively cleared themselves today. TG was already clear. That should lock the game.

Pretty asinine of you to fake a scum result and let it get to a lynch. I know you like gambits but that was just dumb. Let's hope you guessed right and he was scum.

I did everything to keep it from getting to a lynch. You and clov were the trigger happy speed hammer. Pretty incredible of you to blame that on me.

...and yet you argue...

Welcome to the wide, wild, world of Darthe mafia.

For the lulz.

I actually don't think Darthe played it poorly.  The mafia team would know he's lying and could completely avoid it like the plague, while putting the onus on town to either let DT try to get out of it or lynch him.  Anybody that comes in and says "Guys, you shouldn't have done that, Darthe was obviously lying" (or something of that effect) would be giving themselves up.

Darthe - I really don't think he's going to come in and say anything, and I have a pretty god idea who a third teammate would be.

Drunk appears to have no intent to discuss; not sure what he could say at this point. I'll invite the hammer and see who takes it.

[v]Drunk[/v]

Didn't mean to hammer. I'm sure there's some joke to be made involving irony but it's escaping me at the moment.

Can you spell coordination?

Timing is everything.

Why do I get the feeling DT is gonna flip town all of a sudden?

Can we just kill Darthe and Tommy now?

I can't tell if you're serious with this, but I laughed.

So let's talk about reasoning and anticipated effects of it (affects too):

I planned on faking a result on DT or NotBob today unless I got a scum result on Clov in which case I would simply have outted him.  This gave me the advantage of being a view up that scum wouldn't know about unless they knew I was lying about my result because I called a townie scum etc.  Even then it could be a miller so this would have messed up scum somewhat.  Here are things I intended to get from this:

The person I called scum if town would have argued: No, I'm not scum, vote darthe, he must be lying etc.  Scum is more likely to shut up and have others do that while they play to trying and miscredit me over time and live.  Townies, especially in this instance, WANT to get me killed where scum want to live.  Distinguished differences which I wanted to see from whoever I claimed a view on.

People around them, if scum, would be discouraged.  In this instance I expected a vote with no reasoning.  Note how very different Rand was from this.  He reacted as a townie would, playing to what knowledge he gained in the moment and immediately trying to apply it so he could figure things out.  That's the perfect townie reaction to this entire thing and it was intended to help me clear the air about who to view last.

Near EoD: When the person had responded and garnered votes I intended to reveal that I didn't view them and play based on the reactions of the day crossed with Nyn and my earlier reads of them.  Keep in mind that Clov was my view, Notbob and Drunk Tank were my scum reads and I was iffy on Mynd.  This play really allowed them to exemplify the way they wanted to play and after claiming that I faked the view I could even claim another fake read as town to see if I could get scum to kill someone who was then "cleared" if town and if thy didn't killl that person it would help me get a better scum read on them.

This play had a lot of gains and all that it required was that someone could follow directions well enough to hold off on insta-lynching claimed scum at the behest of the cop.  Why?  Townies should want to truly follow the cop and trust in that persons' plan making skills barring that the cop has shown themselves to be totally incompetent.  Naturally, going against this and/or voting someone out early is characterized as opportunistic, greedy and sloppy play.  The vote scheme done at 4:20 (lol) probably isn't coordinated so I expect that the two of them aren't scum together but it definitely heightens my scum read on clov.

Worth note here is that me being roleblocked didn't reduce most of the capabilities of this play.  DT needed to die (I would never view him), Townies still reacted the same though scum would be more neutral (unless my DT intuition was right in which case they would panic) and try to blend through what they knew was going to be a crap day until they began to pin things on me at evening/night when they are "sure" this means I am scum pulling some huge gambit, nearly everything retains its' value.

What this means in terms of the day is that I think Mynd looks a considerable margin better based on his reactions/predictions, rand is clear, TG remains clear, one of Tommy/Clov is prob scum (leaning clov heavily) and Notbob played exactly to the scum handbook of "idk what's going on, let me tiptoe in" and DT very well could still be scum sealing this game.

Also notable is that scum will almost certainly not have both an RB and a GF so if I get rid of the RB this is probably game over for the scum team.

If DT flips town I'm a big fan of Clov and Tommy outing themselves with the coupled vote.  Clever.

I'm not.  I want to lynch clov more now but I think we can play this safe enough for me to view the other.  That said I think it helps make Mynd look better now that Tommy has fallen from grace, as it were.

Not a fan of TG deciding that DT deserves some kind of free pass today. I don't care if someone is new. Not even sure why he brought it up.... unless he finds him suspicious? Because if he doesn't, then why even mention him?

This looks promising. Has the "I'll set up this guy who is being nice to my scumbro" vibe. Looks good for TG either way though.

In before the lulz.

But, I think it was the best play you could've made since you were blocked.  Difficult to suss out WIFOM since scum knew you were blocked, but your analysis makes sense.  Only thing I don't completely agree with is that only one of Tommy/Clov is scum since I think (remember I said it on D1) that they could be scum/scum.

They could be I just think it less likely.  Where do you think we would be if I hadn't gotten that cop view on Nyn?

Agreed it does make Mynd looks better.  Bah.

Notbob is giving up.

Also can I plz get an xmen gambit siggy?  Even just playing cards done in some badass way would be an awesome one.  I'm tired of reading Nyn discussing my schlong.

So your largest scum read is the person that is voting for you? How enlightening.

I try so very hard.

This reads as scum/scum bantering. I see a Vos/Rand fight on this same page; if Vos kept Rand as a scumread and Rand is scum, it could be one of the reasons he died N1.
