Choosing to interpret?  That's a scumslip.  What this says is that you have multiple ways that you can see the situation and you're selecting the one that best fits what you want to present to the audience as a whole.  This is lynch-worthy of itself.

Right now, Cory seems the scummiest to me. It looks like he's trying way too hard to look town. I do not like the looks of him at all. I think RTE being scum is likely too, and possibly along with Cory, since Cory seems to be sorta-defending him, then saying he doesn't have a read on him.

 

Also, this is the first game where Darthe actually seems town to me. But most of the games where he seems scum he ends up being town. He's still probably town. If he was scum, he'd probably start targeting me.

You were really awesome til the last line.  It's a logical fallacy that prevents you from gaining an adequate read on me now because you've already biased me based on actions that may or may not be warranted.  How could I know that you indeed aren't scum if I didn't investigate Dawn?  Still, I'm proud of you here and happy to see you contributing.  This and even the part I was just critical of look very townie to me.

Well then. That was an interesting catch up. Overall I'm generally happy that the game is picking up, not happy to see EmoCory resurfacing somewhat
 

 
Regardless, this is still a mafia game, and there's still a lot of other players involved in this besides just Cory, so I would recommend anyone that has the urge to thunderdome with Cory to let off for a bit, and wait and see if this emo is legit or fake. I REALLY don't wanna see this game go through any kind of blech that causes people's WIM to go down (since I'm the only one who can still be awesome effective even when my WIM is low).

Yeah, this was a scummy OP. I'll get to the peeps that defended this later, but yeah while there were a couple of people who always make a show about entering the game and pronouncing their villagerness (myself, Cory, Tommy is the type too, I've seen Verb do similar, Darthe in his own way), RTE is NOT one of those people. So yeah, this looked like him trying to bandwagon into the "Hey, I'm town too you guys!" sentiment.
 

I just vigged Des, let's see what happens.

 

 
Also, Darthe looks surprisingly townie to me this game. Casually references our rivalry in what looks like a genuine manner, and the mindmeld on a couple of other things speak well in his favor as well.

Uhm, OP analysis by it's very nature is taking something out of context somewhat to see how genuine it looks. I mean, you consider context to some degree at times, but you're still focusing on a single post, not looking at a player in aggregate.

Des I have villagery on tone but he's a pretty decent Mafia and can fake tone. I would guess villager gun-to-head but I'll need to see more
 
Nyn I can't really judge until the game has more meat, she's doing nothing "villagery" for her up to this point but I've seen her have slow starts as a villager before (HH) and she's someone who i think likes to ramp up when her confidence increases

While I don't quite agree with the town reads, that is kinda expected since Darthe will often hand out early villa reads (imo) prematurely.

Des I really need to start a tally on how many games you have been wrong about me to really deflate your ego. I might even do it for how bad it has been. It's really sad.

Tsuki going after Dawn so early is a bit unfair. I would agree with what he's saying typically but Dawn has been just fine activity-wise thus far this game. Sort of unwarranted... Going for low-hanging fruit or something?

Cory, in the interest of you coming back and hopefully not sending this game off an emotional cliff, not all suspicion on you is unwarranted. Obviously if you ARE town, then some slinging suspicion your way could be scum trying to big game hunt or send you into an emorage tailspin to destroy everyone's WIM.

 

But, this isn't the case for everyone, and you're also not being suspected because of your playstyle or anything.

 

In my opinion, here is why you seem questionable so far:

 

1. That your entrance tothe game was you trying to clear yourself too early. I personally know that that behavior wasn't really alignment indicative for you, but not everyone knows you so well and/or it IS an easy meta to hide behind

2. I think you might be trying, in a roundabout way, to clear yourself for others by going at Wombat early on (yes yes, I know he fos'd you first, but you DID challenge him on it pretty strongly). That "not afraid to challenge heavy hitters" town tell

3. Questioning the votes on RTE, even tho his OP DID look bad. Town!Cory would have been able to see that imo.

4. Finally, the emo responses. ESPECIALLY considering your recent game where you won as SK in large part due to your AtE.... Yeah man that kind of behavior will only draw more suspicion yowards you from here on out.

Honestly, I prob have a higher scum read on Tsuki, who looks terrible imo (going for lynchbait, not as aggressive as normal, overuse of memes to try and fit in)

 

But RTE is def the better lynch for today. His OP def wasn't good, and neither was his response to a couple of votes, but more importantly he can also potentially give us some more info on everyone else. For instance, if he flips town, then I think Vos will need to be looked at more closely. If he flips scum, then we can look closer at Wombat and Cory, who both kinda soft defended him.

 

And, not to be harsh, but as others have pointed out, RTE DOES usually look pretty wolfy as town. If he IS town this game, I'd rather remove the distraction then leave a good mislynch for scum to use later on.

So yeah, vote RTE everyone.
