Not goin out without a fight, maybe I can redeem myself with a town win. 

 

Consider this.  Vos was one of the few townies who still believed in me and wasn't so quick to flip on me when it came down to Rand vs Mynd.  Only the mafia knew my "read' was false because only they knew that Despo, Wombat, and Dap/Rand were town.

 

Players who considered that I might be a third party player had to think this because they were scum and knew my reads were pointing towards three townies.  So how would a townie who doesn't know who is scum reach THAT conclusion?

I seriously do not see how thinking Rand is third party makes me mafia.

 

But if Rand was third party, wouldn't he have claimed it by now? It wouldn't have made him seem more scummy to than him claiming town, so I don't even know anymore.

 

 

Ok, I'm pretty sure Rand is third party now, because if Mynd is telling the truth, than he's not town. He also didn't realise Despo is dead. A third party player wouldn't need to know who is dead, because they wouldn't care, so long as it wasn't them.

The only alignment that would consider a third party when Rand vs Mynd was facing off would be one who knew BOTH players were not mafia.

Heh, you had Clov in your top three scum list yesterday, now you're saying he's legit. All Clov did between that time and now was ask you to clarify about the lightening rod. So what caused the 180 on him? the realization that you prolly couldn't get the momentum to mis-lynch him? And then you interchange Clov's name  with a name on Clov's scum list to gain favor. Cute.

 

You say I played along with you? I was FOSing wombat long before you came up with your dream claim. My vote on him was 90% based on his ISO. Since I had a town lean on Des and null on Rand, I started to seriously doubt your claim once Wombat flipped town. Which is why my vote was on you and not Rand in the last day phase.

 

You brought up insanity to excuse your false read. You brought up items being used on you. You could see no one was really buying it. Now you're fessing up to lying and we're supposed to just take your word for it because of a gambit you lead in a game in the past? lol Okie dokie. You had the chance to fess up when we got Rand's flip. Instead you kept flailing for an out.

I really, really want to believe this is scum distancing since scum had no way of knowing that Nyn was on her way out and it was a nearly foregone conclusion that Mynd would be the lynch today, but...eh, I'm actually not feeling it.  I can't place my finger on why, but I think this was her trying to make Mynd look worse and not just her kicking him to the curb.  Too much effort, maybe?

I think the scum wanted to ensure my lynch, which is likely anyways, but Vos was one of the few who still believed I am town.  Taking him out eliminates one player who might not vote for me.  Ironically, I believe if we asked the dead thread Vos would be hardcore voting me today. 

 

What stuck out to me when reading back was those players who not only went along with my dream, but when they questioned it, they mentioned that I might be a third party or something.  To me, that suggests a scum reading a player who essentially is killing the town as maybe another anti-town role.

no, mynd doesn't get to walk away from this.  he costed us 3 townies.  and 2 days of un-nessicary WIFOM distraction and a fast lynch on Rand.

we take 2 days focusing on this un-needed WIFOM that he fabricated.  

 

then he's all emo "i diserve to be lynched and will self vote" over the night

 

 

suddenly Day reveals itself and BAM Nyn goes down and now Mynd is resolved to fight, and comes out fist barreling at Dawn.

 

 

Mynd is utterly full of it this game.  Despo made great points about Dawn but given Mynd comming out of the gate and basically using Despos case as his own i'm starting to think Dawn is derptown and Mynd is capitalizing on scummy townies.  just liek he did with his stupid dream gambit.

I cannot believe Mynd admitted to making up the dream. That's the one of the most anti-town things someone can do.

 

Also, Nynaeve flipped scum. That was very unexpected. I think Mynd is the only one this whole game who has read her as scummy, but he didn't say much about why he read her that way. Obvious distancing is obvious.

as i see it Mynd theres only two scenarios at this point

 

- You and Dawn are scum and you using Despos case to put some distance between you and her.  especially since you knew the gambit was close to being up.  so you're trying now to distance from her hardcore that way when you flip scum she gains town cred.

 

- You're scum and Dawns town and your using Despos case to try and secure a lynch on yet ANOTHER town because she's being derp town.

Just for a moment, go back and re-read from the beginning of D2 with the suspension of your disbelief that I am town and I made up the dream on three townies.  Read the reactions of those involved.  Those who went along with it.  Those who began to question if I (or Rand) were a third party.  See, those are people who KNEW my three names were town.

 

One of those players was Nyn.  I called her out just before the turn of the phase.  If I were scum, why would I do that?

In Hoof's defense, lemme confess.   I've been debating this since Despo flipped town but at the risk of making things even worse, here we go.

 

I made the whole thing up.  I did get a gift from Hastur, but it was a one-shot protection.  I soft-claimed an investigation role on N1 in hopes that it would draw a kill my way.  When Darthe died, based on my own reads from how Red was defending Wombat and how Womby and Despo were involved with lynching Tommy even though Red was sure he was town, I felt like one of those two had to be scum.  So, I fake claimed to have had a dream where at least one of those three were scum. 

 

I figured the odds were in my favor and threw in Dap just for good measure because at the time he was on my bottom list.  I was shocked when Wombat flipped town, but I really knew I was in trouble when Despo flipped town as well.  I began to hear the scum team laughing at my fake-claim because they KNEW it was fake or manipulated in some way.  This is why I am sure that those who went along with my claim without any second guessing are likely the scum team.

 

Anyways, I'm the sure lynch no matter what.  All I gotta say is I totally DERP'd this one.  I figured we could move the game along with that claim and shake things up, but it really bit me in the arse.  I hope I didn't ruin the game for everyone else. 

 

Those of you who recall, I fake'd this a while back by saying someone whose name begins with A is scum, when we had like 7 players fitting that description. 

 

I think Nyn is scum.  I think Clov actually is legit.  Tglems and Dawn are probably the other two scums.  Dunno.   Anyways, there ya go.

if you were scum you wouldn't have known that Nyn was going to be killed.   you would however know that your WIFOM was at an end and you were the next lynch.

 

so imo given that Nyn was going at you, and you started going at Nyn, i think you two were setting up to distance on thread to help give Nyn more town cred than she already had.
