I've been doing a huge reread because I just purchased A Memory of Light and decided it would be better to just go back and read them all again for the hell of it.  On Winter's Heart and wishing I could just skip it and CoT but I definitely don't remember everything.

 

So you haven´t read AMoL yet? A re-read is good but I agree that there are parts that are easy to skip.

Day started slowly.  The group was no doubt exhausted from the journey through the ways.  Or maybe the constant stress of running from the Shadow had finally broken their nerve.  One of them seemed even less motivated than the rest.  He didn't really say much, he just fingered something he kept at his side.  When they came at him, he didn't really say much either.  But he did speak up eventually.

 

 

"Hey, it's just me Mat!  You can't blame a fellow for not doing much if he can't sleep from nightmares can you?"

 

"Umm, yes we can.  Particularly someone so suspicious."

 

 

Then they closed on him.  Well, Mat wasn't going to have any of this.  He didn't like lynch mobs.  A fellow could get lynched in there!  So he pulled the blacksmith's puzzle he'd been working on (flaming infuriating things) out of his pocket, threw it at them, and tried to run.  He didn't get very far.

@Des - after the comments to me about giving out townie points too easily (specifically to Lenlo), what is your opinion on your general reads as they compare to mine?

At this point, Krak is the only person in this game I trust.  Starting to tinfoil a bit on Des, Leelou, and NotBob.

 

Kaylee gunned hard for Lenlo, so I'm tempted to vote there tomorrow......but I could have been wrong on my initial Dice read.

Leelou is scum.  I gave her a pass on saying that I think she's town based on "gaming the mod", and I've been waiting for her to question me - she never did.  Only Salami did, but I ignored it to see if Leelou jumped on.  Nope.

 

I did that because she revealed as Gawyn, and I'm Egwene.  I thought perhaps Wombat was being cute with that, which is possible.....but Leelou has not been doing the townie things I'd expect of her.  She's not trying to pick people apart, and she's definitely ignoring me here.

Turns out I was wrong about him but his play made me think he was scum. He went back and forth on Darthe, a known scummy so I went after him. I fully expected him to flip scum, esp since he didn't fight the case I made against him, like at all. As town he typically tries to prove himself as much and I didn't see that this game.

Do I have to remind you two again of why I figured out Darthe to be scum? He tried setting up Verbal for a lynch with a town Leelou flip. And he was trying to cling to the possibility of Leelou still being scum long after everyone else let that die down, and even said her character claim "was a hard one to fight" which made no sense from a townie perspective (again, how I knew Darthe was scum).

 

And I'm still LOCK CLEAR btw for my push on Darthe. If I was scum and bussed him, I would be leading town a lot moar right now, using that cred to try and drive home a scum victory. Yes that's "I wouldn't do that as scum" type logic which I myself would be poking at were I someone else, but I also know it to be true.

 

Also, is no one else thinking that Krak might have white knighted Lenlo for towncred? Especially the way he wanted to get everyone to focus on Lenlo's character claim then slip in his own Perrin claim? Could be paranoia but that actually set off some alarms for me. Wombat wouldn't allow character claiming if it could break his setup, so Krak trying to defend Lenlo on those grounds while slipping in his own char claim looks wolfy as hell to me. There's assuredly at least one major character given to scum as a fake claim, so Perrin might be the one. Will have to reread Krak tho to reaffirm that read or else toss it out the window.

Tina still LOCK CLEAR for me since I doubt A) that a DV would be scum in this setup since that is sooooo powerful for scum, and in a smaller basic type setup that would make it even moar unbalanced and B) the manner of her claim. Don't see her doing that as scum tbh.

 

So looking at that, myself, Tina, Leelou, and Verbal are all LOCK CLEAR. Leaves Hallia, Kaylee, NotBob, and Krak for where we need to find remaining two scum. Feeling better bout a Krak scum reading looking at that, and need to review Hallia and NotBob as well to see who might be scum there.

 

Could be that both are tho, for their what might be forced OMGUS/distancing act all game. Haven't seen either follow up well on their scum "reads" of one another very well.

I agree Hally isn't looking so good. Not sure about the others. Des I still feel is town. Same for Tina because of her role claim. I'm not going off of character claims because, as Des pointed out, it's hard to believe that scum wasn't given at least one main character to fake claim. I've done that as a mod myself.

Krak isn't getting lynched - he's been the most townie mofo in this game.  If I lose to him fooling me, it'll be worth it as he'd 100% deserve the win.  He's off the table.  My town read on Lenlo was nothing compared to the one I have on Krak.

Going through the thread now to read a couple posts. Right now my scum pile has Hallia and/or Kaylee/Tina. DV does nothing to clear her as town for me right now. Her early posts were real bad. I'm not liking this new angle Des is pushing on Krak. I've had Krak as solid town all game.
