Cory do you think Clov was villager last night?

 

He came at me pretty hard over a misunderstanding. It felt bullshitty to me.

 

He defended Basel in the process.

 

He shit his pants when I said I would target him.

 

Then he disappeared. He's been getting quieter overall.

Basel, do you think Darthe and Pral should have town leans on you ATM with what you have posted in the thread so far?

I think they should have been playing with me for long enough (a couple of years) to know my meta and recognize me as town. Their defense of me is still worth keeping an eye on.

I was looking at Clov in ISO and noticed he's well within narrative mode. Most of his analysis is reactive and after the fact. Not proactive and trying to interrogate players.

 

He has a lot of text but little of it appears to be attempts to discern the alignments of other players.

Are these the hard hitting questions of a scumhunter?

 

He has tons of WORDS in his posts, but very little curiosity, interrogating, attempts at directly discerning alignment. He rarely questions players, and when he does, they are rather flat and he rarely follows up. My interpretation of this is that he wants to appear like he's active and hunting -- but look at the questions he's really asking. They're fluffy. It is extremely reminiscent of the way he got consensus clear as scum in the twilight game: showmanship over substance.

 

I think Clov is scum.

Amega: I'm confused when you said you'd look at me but you're done with that. My main problem with you wad that you didn't make your reads clear. Since then you have. My recent comment on you was that I was unsure about you and therefore Null reading you. I said I'd watch further for you to get a better feel.

 

If that threatens you then perhaps I'm onto something. Your recent outburst towards Cory seems, well let's just say I agree with what Darthe said about it.

Nope. Multifaceted like that. However, I am obviously town here. Willing to stick my neck out, taking on Tommy early, checking everyone for BS.

Who are you trying to convince here? yourself or us? Telling us what you are doing that makes you town is weird. i'd expect you to let your play speak for itself.

 

 

took a double take at this. glad kaylee asked. Not feeling tommy yet. Haven't seen him try the ##teamalliance thing once yet.

 

Also not feeling dawthe yet as much of anything.. darthe is probably dragging them down

I don't know why this #alliance thing gets brought up again and again. I have seen their games and althought they act all buddy with each other D1, they usually get against once the game progresses. Just a distraction talk.

 

That said, I have barely seen Tommy as town. That too in one game which did not have Cory or others. So, nearly impossible to determine his alignment just on a few pages in D1.

 

i got mentored so i have been trying to change my style to be more effective and less of a hindrance that should explain the posting style change and pretty much eliminate that last post of yours.

Did not see any change in your style of posting IN the game you were mentored on. Why would it suddenly change here?

 

First i never said i had figured out either's alignment. That was not the purpose of the post. I have only played a couple of games with both of them together and it seems their relationship is a factor in discerning alignments. Cory answer'd and stated that being friendly with tommy was the best way to discern his alignment after a few days. Which makes sense, even though i feel that the other party could manipulate this relationship if they tried hard enough. So no it wasn't distraction and it brought plenty of content to the thread. Why would you want to stifle that information and how people view their analytical process of each other?

 

Second. I saw it change and so did Darthe. You being mafia and probably not being majorly concerned with the words i was writing so much as a way to reply without incriminating yourself might have a factor on your opinion. I will continue to change my style as long as i play. It can easily be as radical as one day. My motivation and effort per game will have impacts on these

 

@nyn I said that for the sole purpose to irritate Cory since he dictated what i can say, and see what he would say in his current mood.

 

@tommy that is a solid catch on mish. I wasn't particularly concerned enough to comment on her vote.

 

@darthe fetch your partner, how will she learn if you cover all the bases for her :)

Posts like this make me hesitant to lynch Amega.

 

Anyone think he can fake this as scum?

Actually scratch that. I just remembered the good one he had yesterday. Its less than ideal but it does put him in a better light than mish/len.

I dont want to lynch amega today in any case. I would be more amiable to basel than that, if only because I expected a town basel to come in and continue his earlier presence and this one has failed to do so.

Ninjad a lot. Case on clov isnt bad Tommy I just havent seen much from him and we think so similarly that the little bit I have seen wasnt standout to me. Weaker questions arent necessarily a scumtell.

But Clov getting aggressive with Tommy doesn't make sense if we weren't on the right track

 

Amega baffles me but his @ me could have been easily the townie axe that made the tree fall irt me and Tommy being played against eachother

 

A lot of Pral/Darthe/Basel/Clov been tripping on panties to softdefend eachother - I remember Clov chainsaw defending Darthe earlier this game though I think Darthe is town this game

 

Something I thought about driving to jobsite: Would Darthe really tell Dawn to "keep quiet" in mafia chat for appearances purposes and then vent in thread about her not posting and showing his frustration?

 

I can't say I know Darthe too well but I think it's above him to throw a 14 year old girl hydrapartner under the bus for towncred, especially one just learning the game

Pral on the other hand has two posts in the thread, one where he FoSed me hard for voting Amega saying Amega was a scapegoat but has town leans on Tommy and Mish, who were a part of the early Amega push
