Role stopper can stop doc, yes. But it stops everything on the player it targets including kills. Obviously scum knows who they are killing. So why would they role stop Cory? They don't care if Cory gets protected by a doc if they aren't shooting him. And they can't shoot him if they use the role stopper.

alright reread rolestopper  yes it cant stop corys view  but it stops everything else  so if town had a role that could affect corey it wont happen.  he cant be bus driven, he cant be vigged, he cant be JOAT viewed. Nothing. but it does block the doc so what tommy said is wrong or wilful lying.

i've thought tommy was scummy all game. But that was for the way he nudged cory onto dawn and just his demeanor in general, however im learning that's tommys style so bleugh. This logic you're using above is only moving him up the list though. At the least making me think of a distancing gambit.. unlikely though since you are losing this debate by a landslide and looking like a decent lynch canidate. 

 

I'm also in agreement about red. As a mod my self Doc, seraph, and BG who can chose any target is just OP even with a ST of 5. RB is a decent role to pit up against those roles. But it seems to much even for that. If Scum dont have something better up there sleeve i would be pissed.

Bummed about Jack. Not forgetting that he pointed out Megacloud as the next lynch. Now that he's vetted by his coroner report I'm a lot more inclined to look into him next day, seeing as there's a lot of wifom floating around him and his connection with Verbal, Leelou and Dawn placing him as one of her higher suspects.

 

I'm also bothered by the fact that Dawn has made it this far into the game considering she's dripping scum. I'm not giving her a newbie underage pass. She hasn't been showing up continuously and putting a genuine effort into understanding things, like I'd be expecting a new player to do when she wants to learn. She's been scarce, showing up at heated moments or whenever someone would bring up her name. Then she'd show up to throw in some 'Omg, I'm so confuseled!!!' and then disappearing again. She started showing a more "serious" front after Cory pointed out Lee and Verbal as scum. The timing is too coincidental. I think she needs to go before we move on with any more leads. She's escaped notice for way too long. I stand by what I said before... If I had a vig shot, I'd be shooting her tonight.

 

I am looking forward to see what Red has to say when she comes back.

I spent most of the game leaning town on tommy but I didn't like the way he threw around votes elsewhere after Cory revealed as cop and the train was building on Leelou. He later got fussy at people FOSing him over that, claiming he said he was going to look for spew so what the hell. I didn't understand what he meant by looking for spew nor how it was more important than vetting Cory.... I'd like him to explain what he meant by that. I'm not familiar with the term looking for spew.

 

I've never played with tommy before so I have no idea how he plays as town or scum. I do have to say that the back and forth you guys had about the semantics of Verbal's role gave me a townie vs townie feel.

 

 

And just a general note:

 

Once day starts we're basically down to 8 players, assuming the vig doesn't take a shot. That means we're down to 5 townies and 3 scum. If we mislynch the game is over. Which means we need to dig deep and go with our best lead,

 

 

Last game I played in, when we were at LYLO we all mass revealed and sorted through that. Granted, in that game scum didn't get fake claims from the mod. But it might be something to consider when day comes.
