FYI, my initial vote on AJ was about 75% serious.  It is now 100% serious.  He is obvious mafia.  His trying to accuse Despo instead of me looks like an attempt to discredit his train without looking like complete and total OMGUS.  Also, his accusation of Despo town reading me was not only unfounded, but wouldn't even make sense if it were founded.

@Tress with sniffles:  Ya know Mount Dhoom doesn't seem so ominous compared to the mole-hill you just enhanced.

First question:  Why are you defending Wwwwwwombat?   Why should it bother you so much what I say about Wwwwwomby?  The effort to which you and Despo have gone to defend him is very curious; however, I think I get why.  Doesn't mean all three of you aren't scum, it just explains things.  Kinda hard to use collusion as a reason for scum in a game about the "CLASH OF ANCIENTS" if you know what I mean.

Second:  My vote on Wwwwombat was because he was the only one who didn't vote but FOS'd instead.  His play from that point on convinced me to keep it there.  Not just answering my own questions, but his whole deal.  When you vote someone and they further show strong signs of being scum, does it make sense to UNVOTE them?

Third:  Why isn't any part of your post above directed at JackD or Nolder? I appreciate the attention you are giving me...I am flattered, but shouldn't we be more concerned with two blokes who jump on a bandwagon the moment the Mod posts a deadline?

And yet you still refuse to consider the case on AJ.  Why is that?

Observations so far:

Wombat trying to start a lynch train

Des buddying Lewis (and Wombat)

Wombat overplaying his train

Lewis playing carefree

Krak and Lenlo playing nice solid D1-townies

AJ doing a reasonably good job at "defense" from the train

Nolder doing a cheap sheep-vote

Wombat overplaying carefreeness when he starts getting votes

Getting more town-vibes from Des when he starts WOTing.

Uneasy with Jack clearing Nolder because he was too plainly scummy for his skills

Wary of Tress, she seems to be directing attention, but giving her benefit of the doubt

Also meh at Krak voting me without adding anything to it, for jokevoting "too late"

I'll ##Unvote

Interesten in Tress' reads. Also think Ice has been suprisingly quiet. Adviced to stay abit more in the background? Wombat reads as pretty scummy to me, but on the other hand he has done the best job at garnering reactions at getting the party started. While I do think he overplayed it, that's my opinion and doesn't have to be a scumtell

I'm still very unsure here, but for now I will go with my guts and

##Vote Jack

His clearing of Nolder was pretty buddying-up, and while not many posts yet something just seems off here.

I get the heebeegeebees reading your posts. I'm sad your scum I wanted you to be town. How could you do this to me.

Wombat is town leading.

##Vote Wombat

Why are we not leading two trains on these clowns?  Look at the timing.  These three posts are all within an hour of each other.  Nolder had to know his vote would be 3rd and accusing Wwwwwomby of leading the town seems very obtuse.   JackD's initial reason is in a joking manner, but he still has failed to give any tangible evidence that explains why he jumped the vote less than 30 minutes after a 72 hour deadline was posted.

##unvote Wombat

##vote JackD

I don't see Nolder pointing any fingers at JackD nor do I see it the other way around.  Very curious when two people jump on a ONE VOTE train (started by the new guy) so quickly and yet vaguely explain why.....and DON'T call the other out on bandwagoning.

I don't like Vos' reads, but he looks pretty "WiM" right now as the cool kids would say.  I'd also like to hear from AJ and the inactives.

Irony thine name is Lewis. Voting me in quick succession, with Vos, and mostly calling me out and not the bandwagoner (Nolder) and you did the same thing lolz.

I explained thoroughly my vote on wombat.

Vos, if you don't like my clearing of Nolder, and your trying to tie the both of us together, why not vote Nolder? He voted without the reason and what would be considered a rapid fire bandwagon/pressure vote. That's odd to me.

Also, Lenlo's content is way too low for the number of posts he has imo. I'm looking forward to that reread.

I'm felling better about you at this juncture. Your now sounding like scumhunting wombat <3

I'm not trying to tie you together, I said you read like buddying Nolder.

Nose is running like there's no tomorrow, and my head is swimming.  Past time for the Nyquil.

Quick thoughts, hopefully I'll be less hazy in the morning.

I read Womby's vote on AJ as a gamestarter attempt - bold, little explanation, getting reactions.   Despo's sheeping the vote was blatant and looks to me like a push to help with the gamestarting, pretty clear he was after AJ's reaction to the train.  Willing to put both of them provisionally in the town pile for now.

AJ was doing OK for a while IMO in reaction, although I'm not fond of the way he mischaracterized what Despo said ("he indicated rather strongly that he thinks you are town") and then when called on it backtracked to "well that's how I interpreted it"...  Questionable.

Lewis appears to be making mountains out of molehills - first game here, and I'm sure he's not familiar with the general feel of our games.  Early D1 there really is little to go on, so most cases are trumped up or meta based - and since he doesn't know our metas, nitpicking is pretty much the way to go I suppose...  But I disagree with the way he's characterizing Wombat's play, especially picking on the FOS without a vote thing - that looked pretty much like a joke to me, and most everyone was very much still joking around.

I took the vote the same way for the most part until he and Despo started pushing the whole 'FROZEN' spiel. I disagree on your view of Despo's vote though.

That's a fair point, but not my intent. I meant what I said, and to me the way his post was phrased did strongly indicate that he knew/felt Womby was town.

Sorry if I worried you while I was away, but school's done and now I am here.

I wasn't too bothered by your original vote Womby, but since you feel the need to push the issue then do explain yourself. Legit hunch or gut check? I assumed the latter, but I don't like how you're playing this atm. I also think Despo looks very dirty here for the quick piggybacking and buddying. 'Womby's hunches are always good' - why would you trust him so easily and assume that he was correct?

##vote Despo

Where did I say I trusted him completely? I bandwagoned onto you for exactly the reasons I stated. When town, Wombat's hunches are very good. When you're scum, it's relatively easy to get you to squeal while you're on the hotplate.

I felt like he was more buddying you by immediately agreeing with your 'hunch'

Feels like he already knows who you are, etc.

Again, where did I say I agreed with his hunch?

I acknowledged that you said it.  I didn't say it was correct.  Despo doesn't need to know I'm town in order to sheep me on D1.  At the very least, it gives him info on me.

Obviously you don't think I am correct if your vote is any sort of indication. I can see where you're coming from on trying to gain info on you. It didn't come across that way to me, however. Do you think you are so easily read for Despo to sheep you without question after a few posts? He indicated rather strongly that he thinks you are Town.

Wowwwww AJ you be misrepping HARD this game. Where did I indicate rather strongly that I thought Wombat was town? Again, you don't HAVE to see someone as town to sheep them. You can just be following a random lead, or using the move to test other's reactions.

WHY DO I KEEP HAVING TO EXPLAIN THIS ERMAHGERDDDDDDDDD

I just ISO'd Despo and he did nothing of the sort.  So far, he has complimented Lewis' vote on me as pro-town and said that my hunches are usually good.

You're right, he didn't say it directly but that was how I interpreted the statement. He was saying that your hunches are usually good and that I am easy to spot as scum. Therefore he believes you to be town and me scum, but my problem is that I am unable to see how he came to this conclusion based on your previous posts.

Uh, no. That doesn't mean I believed Wombat to be town at the time, or you scum. It means I saw something I felt like following to see where it led. To be frank, I think it led to a goldmine

Despo - your instant sheep of the 'hunch' shows enough agreement IMO that you didn't have to say 'I agree'. Stop focusing on semantics. I think you should understand that I look more below the surface for motive and intent than the rhetoric people use. To me, your phrasing suggested that you knew Wombat's alignment and were attempting to buddy him by following his 'hunch' although he hadn't indicated what it was at that point and also hadn't posted anything I would consider of serious substance in order for you to discern his alignment enough to think he was onto something. When you say 'Wombat's hunches are usually good when he's Town' to me suggests that you already were aware of which alignment he was, which made it easy for you to sheep while also cozying up to him. This is my personal interpretation and something I would expect from advanced players such as yourself. Others think you were 'reaction testing', which it seems that you are alluding to now as well. And please, don't act like you need to explain anything to me about the potential move you were making. It is illogical for you to think that you can blame me for finding your actions suspicious when you do a poor job of making your motive clear, intentionally or not.

That said after looking over the last few pages and your recent posts after this one I quoted I am feeling a little better about you, and the reaction test thing does fit with your meta. Definitely not willing to call you town at this point of the game, but I think my vote could be better served elsewhere.

As much as I </3 you at the moment, this still made me laugh for far too long and far too loudly in a public place.

Seriously.

Nolder not really. The fact that he tried to use reason to seperate what it really was is eye catching. Looks like a trumped up pressure vote. And I may be giving him to much credit but doubt he'd play so basically with his skill set as a player.

AJ seems to be stretching what I viewed as an obvious joke. But reading objectively I can see what he's saying but don't agree with it and also think he's making to big of a deal out of it

Which part did you view as an obvious joke? Obviously I missed it. That said I liked this post from you. Allowing yourself to play empathetically lends to town mindsets IMO.

My point on Despo is a legit one, even if you can't or refuse to see it. And as far as wanting to avoid OMGUS, what does that matter? If I felt like I had reason to vote you, I would. OMGUS is a poor and unreliable 'scum' tell at best IMO. Unfounded how? Despo said himself that when you are town that your hunches are good. You voted me on a 'hunch' therefore Despo has to assume that you were town in order for the hunch to be good and to follow it himself. How did he come to this conclusion based on your posts prior to that one? That is my point, which I have been trying to express all along. Lol like that seriously doesn't bother you? I feel like I'm beating a dead horse at this point. Regardless, it's something that I'll keep in my pocket for later game.
