Lol Despo, although I don't think this topic is very important, I understand the premise.

 

I'm saying the PHRASE is stupid because at the core it is inaccurate. A slot can't have a greater probability than what is already predetermined (3:1 most commonly). I understand the way you are applying it though.

 

You could just say I'm leaning town/scum on a player for the same (and more statistically accurate) purpose.

I will say that strangely, I'm kinda getting the feeling Jack is town this game. Strange, the first one after like 4 in a row that he seemed scummy to me

Got a few feelers out on others. Amega is bombastic right now, which is a scumtell for him. He acts much more scathing as scum, much more likely to act sarcastic. Still thinking he could be teammates with Cloud, and his reaction to me linking him with Cloud is telling as well.

Nothing about this is correct.. like i actually laughed out loud when i read it... i dont believe i have a scumtell yet and the hydra was my first mafia experience besides when i was 17. 

me being scathing happens in every game including the hydra where i came into a pretty much doomed situation. 

 

all im seeing is poor attempts at fake scum hunting. and im a little weary you got jack as town all of a sudden....

1. Meta - use of reasoning applied to the way you've saw someone do something before.

B. talking about my common day 1 antics.

 

Both are textbook uses of Meta, which Lenlo has stated emphatically that he does not use nor is he good at it.

Lol hold it right there cowboy. I was actually expecting you to do a sudden 180 on me if you were town and explain how it was just a trap and all that jazz. You however have made it very clear with this post that your scum read on me, and your pushes for my lynch based on absolutely nothing, were actually sincere. This leads me to believe that you are most definitely scum. You continue on saying that your scum read on me was actually a meta read and that I failed your reaction test. You are trying to validate past reads by using present information which is scummy. I want to hear from you what that meta read and reaction test was and how I failed it.

What is your opinion about Despo? You first stated that I didn’t look good and now you are all of a sudden defending me. I don't like how you are playing both sides.

 

1. No, I didn't say that. I actually pointed out something a few posts back where I found one of your statements to be pretty villagery. I don't put a lot of value in 'reaction tests' and 'over-reactionary' stuff because frankly I think GOOD scum will be able to compose themselves better. You do look a bit jumpy but the quick OMGUS indicates IMO that you are likely innocent.

 

2. The defense is only through extension because you are the one in question by the person I am questioning. My intent is to get Des to clarify, not to help you. No offense lol. To me it looks like he pulled his 'scumread' on you out of a hat and then later is using meta reasons to justify it, which I why I asked for clarification since as you pointed out he never really explained his view on you in the first place. My opinion on Des is that he is firmly null to me until something drastic happens. We just finished a game where I was given a bad reminder of how I can be 100% sure he is scum and STILL be wrong, so yeah. I think he is playing Stretch Armstrong with this case on you but him reaching is more or less a null tell IMO.

The way you jumped at Des calling you scum means one of 2 things to me. 1 you are overeager town or 2 you are mafia who suddenly thought someone was onto you already. And if 2 is the case you probably got a bodgy role making you worry that ure team will happily bus you.

I explained in my posts why I think that both Despo and Jack are scum. If I had two votes I would have voted both of them, but alas. The "lynch him" part wasn't a command and shouldn't be mistaken for one; I'm not the kind of player who bullies people into voting the ones he thinks is scum. I chose to use those words to convey my dislike about Jack's play in this game and to explain that I would like to see him become a lynch target.

Just posting the little I have right now    : _CLOUD seemed rather fidgety towards Despo's read on him. His reaction makes no sense to me. If it were me in his position, I wouldn't have sweated it. Wouldn't have even been too serious on trying to clear myself/be overly concerned about Despo since it is just the first day with just two/three pages. Doesn't seem Town like at all to me. However seems weird for scum to act that way on the first day, unless he has a special role, like a "Bomb" or something and is trying to get lynched? I am not sure if that makes any sense though. Scum Lean for me.

Either you're intentionally twisting my words or you don't see the whole picture but either way I still find it suspicious that you would be happy to lynch Des, Jack, or Ice and yet the only one of the three in your rallying call is Jack. Especially while you're voting elsewhere. Your explanation didn't jive with your posts either.

 

Your "lynch him" was definitely a command and evn if you didn't mean it in your heart it sure appeared that way on-thread. You shouldn't make imperative statements if you don't mean them, especially if it's not obvious you don't. That statement also doesn't constitute bullying in my book, so throwing that in there makes it seem like you're trying to justify it with an emotion-producing response (since no one likes bullies). Lastly, you had already expressed your dislike of Jack's play and your willingness to lynch him earlier in your post, so it comes back to why you made that statement and why only Jack?
