This is me being typically wary, but I'd just as soon not give anyone the Panda. It's not a particularly powerful ability for a townie; in fact, it can do more harm than good. In scum hands, though, it could be very effective. We'd be handing them a powerful tool.

 

That said, it's not my intention to kill the conversation about it, because I'm liking the game interplay it's driving. But ultimately, that's my two cents.

Cosmic, the Faithful Panda: On Day 1, there is a plurality vote for Cosmic to be a player's friend (witches choose who wins a tie). Cosmic always Lynch votes the same as his friend, adding an extra vote. If Cosmic's friend dies, Cosmic leaves the game. Votes for this mechanic only occur on D1, and should be formatted thusly: Cosvote Player X. (this is essentially just a vote to turn someone into a doublevoter the rest of the game)

Witches tie-break.  You guys should probably check if votes to not give anyone the doublevote will even be counted as such before rashly suggesting such a course of action.

Votes to "not give anyone the CosmicPanda" will not be counted. You may abstain from voting but if you do vote you can only vote for whom you wish to receive the Cosmic buddy. It is a simple plurality vote meaning there is no need for a majority. If it is a tie between two or more players, the witch team gets to decide who gets it out of the players tied.

I'm just assuming everyone scum and town at least secretly wants it and working from there.  If you need it official though, I want it.  Not as bad as others maybe, but there are a lot of things I could do with a doublevote.  That being said, I voted for Mish because I considered voting a town lean a more useful action than voting for myself.

To be clear, I wasn't suggesting we could vote for no one to receive it - I missed the part where there didn't have to be a majority. So I suppose there is no way to avoid someone getting it.

 

I don't really want it, though obviously I'd prefer I have it than one of the witches. I'm not all that confident in my voting abilities.
