Me saying your post, Lenlo, semi defending verb and des wasn't looking at you? Cause that's what you've done that I think is scummy. And I've said it. It's not a misrep of your words because you did do it. You wrote ping by anyone you saw going at verb and des on your page by page recap.

I never said verb omgus voted me. Not sure where your getting that. Thane did. Not verb and he admitted it.

I guessed Verb the first time and I thought you confirmed, so nyeh nyeh

So Thane saying his vote WAS an OMGUS vote and you relented after he explained. Okay.

I said your not doing it very hard. Thats all youve found scummy from me/RTE? Thats it? Dont forget this is a team/hydra game so theres more than one person to case per team.

And its a misrep because your ignoring everything else behind each of those pings. Was Des/Verb involved in each? Yes. Was my reason for each ping because they were attacking Verb/Des? No. Are you saying it was? Yes.

No I didn't relent. He was on top of my scum list until he claimed tracker. His squirming and general behavior was indicative of scum. However my role being body Gaurd, and theirs being tracker seemed to fit so I believed it.

That's the second time I've corrected you about verb.

Yes Leo I am. that's what it appeared to be. Unless everything in mafia is to be take. At face value in that case

I am a body Gaurd (oh wait you don't believe that claim. Funny that's what I said I was. Why won't you believe me?)

I am town (most likely lynch why would town wanna lynch a townie? Hmm but I said I'm a townie so let's see how this works)

Show me the first time.

Player is irrelevant in this case, though you seem to be saying you didn't say his OMGUS was scummy and now you're saying you did and you didn't relent and I really just can't follow your narrative at all.

You don't seem to actually have a firm belief in anything regarding your early behavior at this point.

@BFG: Normally you scream townie to me, even when you're scum.

This game, that isn't even close to being the case.

Your recap posts aren't giving me much perspective into your actual thoughts, and I find myself disagreeing with a CRAP ton of em. Seriously, you continuously agree or side with someone who was just excessively scummy in that particular post. I could forgive a few examples of this sort of thing, but literally your catchup posts are littered with examples of you taking the exact opposite side I'd expect town!BFG to take here.

Not only that, but your partner Pray has been sniping from the sidelines all game.

Tell me why you shouldn't be the lynch today.

I found the timing of this little piece of drama to be very odd. Despo and AJ talking about the #Alliance (I am dropping it as a thing but this looks specific to the game so here it is)

Also, why would me buddying my #alliancebros look suspicious? I mean... if they're my #alliancebros... isn't that exactly what you'd expect? Yeahhhhhhh pretty sure you're teh scum.

Because it could have been an early attempt to pocket some players if you already knew they were town.

Tommy did basically the same thing in the last Star Wars game.

You guys still completely misunderstand the #Alliance thing lol. It's cool tho. Mebbe one day.

Despo says he misses Corey

Speaking of which, I do miss me some OJ/Cory action. Hope he remembers this forum a little more often soon. The game has picked up too!

7 minutes later Corey pops up and says he is compiling notes...

On 3/31/2014 at 3:54 PM, corycurren said:

I'm compiling notes ATM. Rayn calls me a "slow starter" because I solve the game LATE day 1 as opposed to as soon as the game begins.

Was waiting for your WOTs as well. ES has been my main concern - mostly LilyElizabeth being alarmingly-subtly-manipulatively circumspect, but I'll get into that when I post my WoT of DEATH.

Then he goes right into a defense of the #alliance talking about tone and effort and the wy someone combs their hair I suppose(well the last was an embellishment)

Alliance has NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING to do with out-of-game alliances.

It's players who go hard in the paint as town doing enough #work to psuedoclear eachother early to try and devastate the Mafia early. The clearing is done through EFFORT AND TONE, not any sort of outside-metagame agreement.

For example, in Star Wars, I know Tom is a skilled enough town player that the risk:reward of lynching him early would be -EV for town. If he's town, he's going to be incredibly valuable, and he's not a poor enough player to do something legitimately self-outing Day 1, so it's a dumb gamble. I was able to recognize he was not town around ~Day 3, which is certainly "soon enough" to catch a player as skilled as him.

Again my point is that the LOCK CLEARS come nearly immediately for the core group. Is more like a secret handshake than any actual evidence in the game. If it looks wrong most likely it is wrong.

This was the post I was referring to earlier BTW. This basically the opposite of "big game hunting" maybe we should start using the term "wildlife preserve" as well? Sorry. Back to reading...

You don't seem to actually have a firm belief in anything regarding your early behavior at this point.

Here is the sequence of events. What's throwing a wrench in is when you keep interjecting verbal or incorrect tellings of the way things happened.

1. We voted #11 which happened to be straw hats

2. Thane voted us. I asked him why and he responded cause we needed a place to vote.

3. I responded. Jumpy omgus vote. Noted.

4. People said I was reaching.

5. Pushed a little harder at thane. He appeared to be squirming. Solidifying what I thought at that time to be the behavior of a mafioso.

6. I continue to either vote straw hats or post my suspicions of them.

7. I push them to reveal at L-2 they don't so I vote them

8. They reveal as tracker.

9 I unvote to take them from range of a ninja hammer as I was going to bed.

10. I'm taking them at their word as their type of role fits mine. (Not your standard cop or doc) so I have evidence from the mod to do so.

That's the whole reaction. I'm not sure what your reaching for

You understand that Lock Clear is meant as TONGUE-IN-CHEEK, right? It's just a trope-y way of saying someone made a post you thought was villagery.

I've explained this several times, and it's gotten sort of grating. Yes, I have a lot of lingo from 2+2, WF, etc.

I was invited to this board, I was invited to this game. I am going to play the way I always play - which has gotten favorable enough reviews to get me Champions game invites and a great deal of satisfactory wins.

I'm not going to change because you don't like my modus operandi. I do what works.

Not fun explaining things over and over is it? Like with my #11 vote.

Thane seems like a new player from his overall behavior (or at least someone with very little overall experience) - his early posts certainly were pingy, but I know I hit pings on newer players that aren't there. So squirming under pressure you are defining as a concrete scumtell? Yet you have been talking circles with light pressure and overreacted greatly to people critique your early meta vote. These don't compromise in my head; and your actions around their lynch were incredibly deliberate - do you think that your threat to hammer, force of a claim and then unvote were alignment indicative? Do you think only a townie would do something like that?

I don't care about your explanation, I care about your tone, reaction and sensitivity to the issue as it pertains to the game.

I am playing Mafia - what are you playing?

How many weak FOSes do you have up your sleeve, anyway?

Explain what sniping means, and how my analysis of your behavior is snipey. Please.

Notice how Jack_D is not being particularly confrontational at accusations; he is instead deflecting, making small FOSes and being incredibly passive-aggressive towards accusers, doing little tricks like language-flips and black-white wrong-right statements.

He seems to be saying that he believes people pursuing Amega (Lenlo and Darthe are the biggest people so far, I'd say) are our best scum leads, but is more concerned with his small attacks on accusers than pursuing his scum leads.

1. I don't care if people vote me. I did have issue with you still licking your chops to lynch me after my claim. In fact I haven't responded much to your cases today. So that's an over exaggeration at it's best

2. If talking in circles are bad. You enjoy doing it. So are you bad?

3. So me asking for a reveal and not getting it then moving further to place my vote there on one of my top 3 scum reads were to deliberate. However you setting up this lynch (lily and myself) then saying your going for Ithi and Turin next game day phase no matter what (there interplay could of been legit scum hunting or scum distancing) that seems deliberate.

4. Do you think going after a claimed protective isn't scum behavior in the least.
