My gut's been saying Leelou btw, but I don't have a clue why and I couldn't read up for it to figure out. The only tangible thing I remember is when she rolefished on AJ (she said something like she can't decide whether AJ was scum or roled town.... but leaning scum).

idk about that.. (if you hadnt claimed doc which im not sure i believe yet.).. .id still have my vote on you to. and going for a no lynch isnt a reason to lynch wombat. especially if thats the scummiest thing on the field for them. now you feel scummy maybe that your style but despo is pretty much the nxt best choice and his flip might say a few things about you as well and quite a few others. Id like to see some people throw some thoughts around.. like verbal and x.. and SP no need for lurking guys.

 

You're looking at it in the wrong way. You're right that suggesting a NL isn't scummy on its own, but you have to think of Wombat's motivation behind it. He removes his vote from me after my claim but instead of pushing his other two supposed scum reads, he opts for a NL. Don't you see? I've already explained how NL on D1 would be more in favor of scum than town.

 

 

2. Your idea of how someone should play holds no bearing on me. So again, get over yourself. There is no hand-written book somewhere of how mafia should be played as a certain role or alignment. I play how I play and generally think that I am an asset to my team. I reacted badly to Despo's original vote on me and am working to shed the negative light that put on me. You made me the lead wagon with about 48 hours to go until DL so I felt it appropriate to claim so we could focus elsewhere. You can say that my focus on you is OMGUS but generally I have an easier time discerning a player's motivation when the interaction is with me directly. Different play styles. You don't have to like it but that doesn't mean that I am terrible by any means.

 

You can say that all you want.  Doesn't make it true.  I'm very accepting of differing playstyles as long as they work.  Look at the results of your play thus far.  You have distorted much of the D1 action to focus on you so that you can use OMGUS as a crutch to avoid actual scumhunting.  And if you are actually town, you have outed the town doc on D1 with your reckless play.  This is anti-town no matter how you slice it.

 

The focus hasn't all been on me. I wasn't the leading train until you came in to hop on with your OP. If anything, it acted as a catalyst for the game. And it also revealed you to me, so I call it an even trade.

 

Sure.  Assuming 9 town, 3 mafia, and 1 kill per night, that means we have 2 mislynches.  If we mislynch twice, we are down to 5 town, 3 mafia.  At that point, a mislynch ends the game.  It would be preferable to go to 4 town, 3 mafia before lynching, taking us from MyLo to LyLo.  In other words, no lynching at some point will probably be advantageous.  It doesn't have to be D1, but we have the least info on D1 and therefore much to gain by waiting.

 

Your numbers are correct and I would be fine NL'ing at a later stage in the game if it came down to it, but I find your motivation for wanting to do it D1 instead of pursuing your own leads scummy. Let's say that we actually do get to MyLo because we weren't able to lynch scum D1 and D2. We NL on D3, force the scum team to NK and then we can do some real analysis from those D1 and D2 wagons to work on. Instead, by suggesting it D1 you are leaving us open to a lurker being killed which will start town off in generally the same spot D2 and furthers our chances of a later mislynch that we can't afford.

Wombat - Why Des over SP since they are even in your scum list? This looks like opportunistic bandwagoning to me, especially since you could've voted him in the first place over your NL idea since according to you he was high on your scumdar. Just vote Kaylee.  Wombat doesn't want her lynched..so that should fit in your plans just fine.

 

I'm not a huge fan of that wagon either. These are the type of compromise lynches that will help scum win in the end. Just because Wombat is calling her town I'm not going to automatically think they are buddies. I'm more inclined to actually think he is partners with at least SP by calling him scummy but voting elsewhere.

 

I will vote whichever way to ensure we don't go random, but I think we are going to end up stringing up a townie either way. Kaylee looks better IMO after she actually laid out her thought process with her multi-quotes.

 

Will be interested to see where SP places his vote whenever he actually comes to play. He's been posting elsewhere the last few days.

 

Wombat and SP are my biggest scum reads atm. I will back off of CS for now since he is saying he is sick, there will be later opportunities for him to contribute if he is town. I think Kaylee is probtown although I think she's still headed in the wrong direction. Baby brains maybe Despo is a mostly a meta read as I've said. The way he likes to hone in on little things and declare them profusely as scumtells makes me think he is town. I feel like he is more stubborn because he has the tendency to think he is right as a town player versus when he is scum he already knows he is wrong. It affects his arguments in a weird way... hard to explain but I think he's town. I don't like that he hasn't been around to defend himself though. Leelou is a slight town lean. She was casing Kaylee well early on but since then hasn't done much and has left her vote parked there for a while, kind of suspect. Her questioning of CS is something I've seen her do as town before though. I'm thinking Amega is actually town and Wombat is trying to pocket him. Some of his posts are hard to understand based on the sentence structure but when he explains them more I find his thought process pretty transparent. I'm not a big fan of Hallia's vote on Des while calling it for pressure. She is null. X is putting in an effort although I don't think his analysis is really that fruitful, town lean. I'm leaning town on you, glad to see that you're able to post more now that work has slowed down. Verb I would probably say is still null/leaning scum atm... there's a little thing I picked up on earlier but it's very very circumstantial and I don't have any real evidence yet to use with it, but in a way he's linked himself with another one of my scum reads. I'm not tracking on his vote for Amega since he never provided any kind of thoughts to it.

I had misread the quote and thought he was talking about how they were going after each other. It was a bad statement on my part, I can't remember if I grabbed the wrong quote or what. (I'll look at that after I post this). I read it wrong and thought he was saying something else. I know that doesn't look good for me, it was a bad mistake, but I own up to it.

I answered this already too but I'll answer it again since you asked again. I still felt like they could be teammates, that's what made me unsure. I am not sure about him. Some things he did didn't feel town and others he did could have been town. Because I don't feel solidly either way I said I was unsure. I wasn't clear then but I'm leaning scum on him.
