A) Dunno why you think you get any sort of clear based on your character claim since 1. Ackbar was just a modgiven safe fake claim given to a recent SW mafia team, and used by the SK (Boba Fett) in the same game before the mafioso could and 2. Since character claims were allowed, there are likely modgiven safe fake claims in this game too, so claiming your character and alignment as if it clears you somehow is just loads of fail.

You are statistically likely to be townie and that is all you can say for yourself so far.

I've seen Csarmi throw some weird fits and tank as both town and scum so that's kind of a nulltell really.

Well, to provide a counterpoint, it's not always about what people say but also about what they do. Or in this case what they don't do.

Granted, however it is still a tactic nonetheless.

A tactic I might add which lends itself to catching scum.

Scum have reason to lurk and not add to the discussion, therefore lynching lurkers is valid net to cast I feel.

If we catch town instead of scum my feelings are that it was the lurking townies fault. If he or she had kept up with the game we wouldn't have lynched them. And if no one lurks, well then we fall back on logic and reasoning as you said. And yet...how do we assure that people wont lurk? That's right! We policy lynch them. Every single game if need be. If people would just get into this habit of A. not lurking as town and B. lynching all lurkers the lurking would pretty much stop and we'd have much more interesting games to play. Games that are won by wits and not guesses or luck.

Only two things worth commenting on.  CS's play is crap, but I'm leaning town because I've seen it from him before.  The spam is over the top tho.

 

Has Tommy played here before?  Because he and Des are tops on my list for scum.  I agree with Nol that posting spammity spam and lurking are anti-town.  Tommy and Des both seem to be purposely misunderstanding what Nol is saying and painting it as a black or white type thing.  Des at least shouldn't be purposely misunderstanding this as he is a DM vet.
