I'd take that as a compliment. I'd like to go with incredibly reasonable person   . Nope no coaching. I wasn't actually aware that you can get coaches. I'll take a compliment however it is.

Coaching: If you were part of mafia team they have a private QT and can talk to each other, and thus, coach newer players.

This is a bit beside the point, but I wanna throw out a theory I just had, just so it's out there. I don't expect (or want) this to color any voting before DL now, but to make my peace. So, possible scenario: Golden is scum together with Err and one more. They read the setup/possible roles posted, but they have no Godfather. So they chance there is no cop either. Err drops a suspicious post on that there is a Godfather (which would warrant a Cop in the game). Golden then claims cop (which they now assume will go unclaimed) and takes on a leading role for town, dodging a lynch on his scum-mate and steering the game in his direction, obscuring it behind an aggresive meta/playstyle. Risky but if there isn't a cop in the game they have a big chance of getting away with it.

Again, this might be far fetched, but it's a possible solution. Just laying it out there to avoid town narrowing their lines of sight and missing something.

Back to now, I still think both these trains stink, but I think TGs smell worse. And I hate that 11 votes are cast, and now Err landed at 4 and TG landed at 6, and Golden claiming he will rather have a no-lynch. Unless two people come in the next half hour and change their votes it'll be TG or no-lynch. I still think a no-lynch is a really bad idea, so I'm ready to hammer TG.

Oh, but TG, saying that me claiming Golden was more riled up than you is hardly buddying enough to warrant a scum-tell IMO, but ok.

I like your theory. It fits, but then we can't really be sure. But then could we have a scenario where there be a Cop without a GF? If this theory is correct that shows a really huge plan by scum & I'm kind of inclined to believe it. Also we could be led to thinking Err is scum. We don't really know if it's a bluff or a double bluff.

Also who could be the 3rd scum? How many scum usually are there in a 13 player set up.

We'll have to see about both trains. There isn't much that can be done, unless Krak, Kronos or anyone else wishes to change. 8-10 minutes left

AJ, dang! True. Might be Golden, Err and Darthe playing a super-risk game?

Ok, that gets too far fetched even for me at this point. Nvn for now.

Omg, why haven't we lynched him long ago?

Who exactly-TG or me

Ah ok. I knew about mafia QT but I was think of assigning people to help out new players.

I was just pointing out the absurdity of TG pinning you as scum for being reasonable.

Last couple of pages have made me feel better about lynching TG though, even though I'm still not entirely sold

Neo, newly introduced to the nature of the Matrix, is on a training mission with Morpheus and crew. Tank and Dozer are watching over things from the ship while Neo is put through his paces. He is taught everything from how to shoot a gun to martial arts. "I know Kung Fu." he says to no one in particular, astounded by his new found power. He turns to Trinity, "What next?" Trinity gives him a look. "Next we go to Zion." She answers a payphone and unhooks from the Matrix. One by one they file out until it's just Neo and Morpheus. "Trinity was mistaken. We will be visiting The Oracle next." He gestures as the phone rings again, Neo answers and awakens to a panic room. Klaxons are blaring and lights are flashing and sparking. "Trinity come to this console and get Morpheus out of there!" Tank is shouting over the alarms running through the ship. Seconds later Morpheus unhooks and everyone falls silent as the alarms are turned off. "What happened here?" Morpheus says. Tank shrugs with tears in his eyes and points to a corner. There, slumped against the wall burned and bleeding, is the smoking corpse of Dozer. Morpheus is silent for several moments and then he speaks the unthinkable. "Clearly, we have a traitor on board. Get some rest everyone."

Tglems, Dozer, Vanilla Town has been lynched

Italics is a pretty substantial ping to me, reads like you trying to sow seeds for a push on a lynch on a claimed cop later in the game. Def don't like this at all.

After it gets pointed out that Darthe's Miller claim throws a pretty big wrench into all of this, you just kinda laugh it off- Whoops! Right now your play overall this game feels a little bit like newbscum to me.

We would have been wiser to back off that lynch when he claimed vanilla.  No mafia D1 claims vanilla.  It's a death sentence and always has been.  Then again I suppose it would have set precedence.

Laughed it off? I said "well, it miiiiight still be possible"(which it might), but still said that the Miller claimed punctured my theory so nvm. Not sure how you read that as just laughing it off.

I also realized the theory was far-fetched enough it might ping to some, but I thought it was worth it just to throw it out there. I would of course not jump straight to lynching our cop! But if for example the miller claim ends up being a fake-claim it might be worth getting back to.

Also, RIP TG, Welcome Luciena

The job wasn't finished.

In the morning Tank was found with his throat slashed, blood soaked into his sheets.

Both brothers of Zion are now dead.

Krak, Tank, Vanilla Town has been killed

Posted

Krak is dead, damn. A night kill from mafia? Or in basic set ups such as this, would their be power roles that can kill someone?

Gonna read again too. Might be something that we missed.

Welcome Luciena!

I think I am gonna pick up where I left off. I still don't feel good about Err after that list. It just read too much like he knew just what the scum team had available.

Vote Err.

Yupp totally going err

Wow. People are EXTREMELY fast at the err-train now! Why so eager?

Posted

1. Andrej - Active scum-hunter. From the re-read I don't blame him as much for jumping me like that. When he started prodding on my jokes I should have outright explained them instead of dragging it further. Carries on scum hunting, being reasonable and active. Def. town-read.
2. Tina -  Gets dragged into mine and GE's back-and-forth keeping calm and reasonable. Do feel slightly paranoid of buddying though, and keeping it in the back of my head, but for now I read it as more "common foe" than anything. Leaning town
3. Basel - I think Basel is the most scummy out of the bunch right now. Has been coasting on the side-line, only joining to throw himself on the Theo-train with a weak semantics-reason. Makes a half-hearted defense of said vote, then consolidate-votes Err, without any reason other than that his mention of a GF might have been a scum-slip (quote is at the bottom of this read for easy reference). Fine, but then less than an hour after day breaks, he jumps right back and restarts the train, again failing to produce more of a reason for it. Smells extremely scummy. My choice for a D2 lynch as it stands now.
4. Darthe - Miller? Not contributed very much. Def. a backup idea for a D2-lynch. Very strange quick vote on Err D2. Why the hurry?
5. Yates WolfbrotherKronos Luciena - Yates didn't post, Wolf made a good list but with the fact that he has been asked to be replaced to I'll just let it stand at null. Crossing my fingers Luciena will stay :P
6. nervositee
7. Xthrax - Seems reasonable. Still I think he is playing a very very good game, while still asking some suspiciously simple questions like how many scum there would be (which has been discussed earlier in the thread). Could very much be trying to look innocent while not. Hoping to see more posting from you today.
8. Krakalakachkn - Tank, Vanilla Town - Killed N1
9. Theodora - Got a lot of heat for pointing out my play but not voting. Made a reasonable argument for it.
10. Err - Has played a kinda strange game. I find myself wishing I had some meta on him. He claims that he is always about game mechanics early on, and in that case his guess with the GF might have been a shot in the dark. He has also been very absent even though he has been in the line of fire, but there are to many explanations for that to warrant a read. Null-read.
11. Tglems - Dozer, Vanilla Town - Lynched D1
12. Despothera - Having a hard time figuring him out. I think he makes some strange statements and vote on Tina. But I'm open to the fact that he is immune to the frustration of dealing with GE, and this can all be a collide in play styles.
13. Goldeneyes - Feels like he is playing extremely anti-town, but with a miller and possibly a GF (if we should belive Err made a slip) there isn't any grounds to doubt his claim. Town cop.

Basel, there have been a lot of discussion but you choose to not comment on any of it. Why?

I had a vote I was comfortable with and I felt satisfied with where I was. That being said, DL is creeping on us and we need to consolidate. So I'm gonna unvote, vote Err. I think he was trying to divert us all into a discussion of setup, and it looked like he gave away too much info that he wouldn't know if town.
